Hot tub was always crowded and it’s unfortunate that the spa hot tub is larger and underutilized. Elevators should all be working during heavy travel season- 1-2 were broken. Gym needs updates with newer bike and elliptical and more waters, fruit, and cold wet towels, yoga mats. Property management was not up to our standards. The woman at the rental office was not friendly. When we called her about the laundry situation and the smoke alarm “chirping” in the middle of the night, she was rude and started to argue with us. We did not get a laundry card as promised. When we inquired about it, we were told we had to buy it and it would be a blank card which we then load. The office person said they don’t give them to the renters because some do not return them. I just wanted what we were told at the time we reserved. We brought this to the attention of the office manager and she did apologize, but we were already turned off because we paid a premium price for one week and expected much better service. We also came in from the beach one afternoon to find the water was off in the building. We were going to shower and meet friends for dinner but no water. Overall, when paying a premium price for a week, we didn’t expect to be argued with over doing a load of laundry. We also expect the hefty cleaning fee should cover replacing smoke detector batteries regularly so guests are not woken up during the night. We also feel that the property management service should be polite and accommodating. I think the owner of this condo should know. There was a brand new washer and dryer tower which was very helpful since we packed lightly. The resort is very well maintained. We enjoyed the heated swimming pool and the hot tub. We (including 2 older parents, 2 little kids) got there after all day of travel to find out that we cannot enter the house. Called and left VMs for the owner multiple times but got no response. Had to book another hotel for that night and later next day too. Started calling her again the next day, same thing - no response. Finally could speak with the unbelievably rude, unprofessional, unethical owner the second day. She had no apologies, didn't agree to refund the two day charges, instead was arguing given it was entirely their fault. Mistakes happen but can be sorted out once found out. Any other ethical owner would had accepted that they forgot to contact us, didn't return our phone calls all night and next morning, should had refunded our money then and there and ideally should had paid for our other place or had given a complimentary one day stay at her place but she did NOTHING and instead had such an awful behavior toward us. Place isn't that great either for the price they charged. "

- "This is not a hotel. It is a single family home run by a management company. The good: House is spacious, nicely decorated. It's next to a lake with water fowl! Nice. Neighborhood is pretty and well-located. The bad: House is advertised as a 3-bedroom. It's only a 2-bdrm. There is a sofa bed in the family room, but that doesn't qualify as a 3rd bdrm. Kitchen is not as well apportioned as others. The UGLY: There was a leak in the kitchen ceiling, and black mold is beginning to show. House has a pool and jacuzzi. We paid extra to heat it ($ 40 / day). The heat was supposed to be turned on the before we arrived, set to 85 pool / 100 spa. It wasn't. Management had not told maintenance the temperature to set the heat to; maintenance did not check the breaker, which had tripped. After maintenance came to reset the breaker, they forgot to set the temperature. All in all, we were there for 4 nights, and could only use the pool the morning we were scheduled to check out. Management and maintenance displayed a complete lack of communication and coordination. Maintenance displayed a lack of care and attention to detail. I would not rent from this outfit again (NFVH). The last thing people should know is that the price on hotels.com is deceiving: initially, it comes up as ~ $ 180 / night, but when you make the reservation, the management fee is disclosed. The price on hotels.com should include the management fee. "

Pet Policy
We do not accept cats due to allergies. If you're bringing a dog, please let us know the breed and size ahead of time. Additionally, if you plan to leave your pet behind while you're out, there will be a $25 fee.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that emergencies happen, and we are more than happy to offer a full refund if you need to cancel your reservation. However, if you do not cancel your reservation in advance, no refund will be issued, as the night could have been booked by another guest. This has happened in the past, and I just wanted to clarify this policy.

I stay booked and often receive last-minute bookings, so please, if an error occurs or plans change, kindly cancel on your end to avoid any inconvenience.

We are In The process of remodeling and painting parts of the house, but not during your stay.

NO CATS are allowed. I allergic. Please let me know what kind of dog you are bringing. There is a $25 fee if you leave your pet here when you are going out! Thanks for your understanding!!

Also, for cancellations, we all have emergencies and we respect that and have no problem giving a full refund. But if you do not cancel your reservation, there will be no refund issued because that night would of/could have been booked for a next guest.
