- "It was awesome. We were allowed to check in a few hours early… the place was nice and clean.. And just steps away from the beach which was awesome! Upon arrival to The Beach at Longboat Key Resort, you will be wowed by this tropical property! Conveniently located mid-island on Longboat Key, on Gulf of Mexico Drive, this small, intimate resort, only 15 units, has so much to offer: direct, private beach access, heated pool, BBQ grill, pool and beach loungers, and onsite laundry.

When you arrive, make your way to our condo, Unit 222, on the second floor, for optimal sunset viewing, dolphin observing, and manatee spotting...! The condo has a smart lock for smooth entry and exit. Each guest is assigned a secure, individualized 4-digit code (deleted upon departure!), allowing for 24/7 arrival and freedom from carrying a key when on the beach...!

Upon entering, you will walk through a small entryway to view the main living space. Our condo features a queen-size bed, along with a queen-size sleeper sofa for the extra members of your party - the little ones! There is a Smart television, with cable, for entertainment when you're not beaching it, along with a variety of reading material, board games, and children's toys. WiFi, of course, is available throughout! Also, there is a closet and chest of drawers for storing belongings for a quick weekend getaway or a month-long stay...! For family use, we have a Pack 'N Play - convenient!

The kitchen, with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances (dishwasher!), is fully stocked (coffee maker - drip and Keurig, blender, Tupperware, knife set, wine glasses, etc.), including everything you might need to cook meals in on the days you prefer not to dine out...!

The bathroom features a combined tub and shower, which always comes in handy when traveling with children!

Beyond the main living space is a large, private lanai, with high top table, two chairs, and lounger, ideal for eating a meal or sipping a cocktail! There is also a deck box with beach toys!

The condo has both central heat and air, along with an additional floor fan. There is a smoke detector and fire extinguisher, as well.

On property, there is a heated pool with deck and loungers! Grab a sun umbrella from our closet and stroll down to the private beach with more lounge chairs. No need to bring your own!

A propane grill is on the lawn with grilling utensils in our unit!

On the ground floor of The Beach complex, there is a free washer and dryer if needed during your trip. There is also a main dumpster for easy trash disposal.

The best part of our condo is the direct, unobstructed ocean view and private beach access - just sublime!

3. Please note our condo is a 330 sq-ft studio best suited for one-two adults or one-two adults plus one-two children in the sleeper sofa, and/or one in the Pack 'N Play, if needed. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations for over two adults due to sleeping arrangement comfort. If it is a unique situation, feel free to message me to discuss further. This property is a family-owned 800 square foot tower apartment on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. There is a full kitchen, living area with a queen size sleeper sofa, and a bedroom with two queen size beds. It is part of the Zilli Collection. Each with the Zilli touch of amazing view, decor, (not typical wicker furniture, silly beach artifacts, 40 year old flooring, one SIZE fits all, etc.). We call it upscale coastal. The properties are more of a resort, 5 star hotel feel. We own an elegant upscale home next door, a penthouse unit, a direct walk out unit, along with 2 units with the option to connect into one suite.
You’ll find everything you need on-site from free WIFI to dishes, linens, towels and even a few extras you may need for your stay like puzzles and soap. This beautifully furnished beachfront condo on Longboat Key, Florida is the largest 2 bedroom unit available in the Beachplace complex...over 1500 sqft. We recently completed a total window replacement project, installing new windows and doorwalls throughout the unit. The views are spectacular....few rental units have this added luxury. We also upgraded the entertainment system in the living room with 60" wall-mounted Sony TV and soundbar....great for movies and sports. Xfinity cable box allows you to log into your Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts and also has DVR service.

This two bedroom/two full bath condo was totally remodeled and renovated, floor to ceiling. It was gutted down to the cement frame and rebuilt with premium, high-end features (more details below). Beachplace is very popular in the summer with European and Canadian vacationers with many families returning year after year.

Located on Florida's Gulf Coast just across the bay from downtown Sarasota, this luxury unit is in the Beachplace complex (building 4, 4th floor) at the south end of Longboat Key. My husband and I started coming to Beachplace as kids…and we have enjoyed many vacations on the famous powder white sand of Longboat Key. This building is our favorite at Beachplace! As you enter the unit, you have gorgeous views of Sarasota Bay and the downtown cityscape, and then just when you think it can't get any better, you open the door to the turquoise blue water of the Gulf of Mexico. Open up the brand new double sliders from the living room and master bedroom and let the relaxing sound of the ocean put you instantly into vacation mode. At night, the view changes and you get to enjoy the palms twinkling in front of the dark sea lit up by the moonlight. We love the Penthouse Units at Beachplace because the balconies are twice a big. Enjoy a glass of wine with guests in the evenings, and savor your privacy in the morning - walk straight out the double slider from your master bedroom onto the balcony for coffee without waking the kids or your visiting guests! (We have a Nespresso machine in the Master just for this reason!) And if you are "working-from-home" you'll have no need for a fake beach Zoom background while at our condo! People often ask how long it takes to walk to the beach so we timed it for you - less than three minutes when walking on the resort sidewalk past the pool. - "Our month-long stay at Birds Eye View was nothing short of amazing and exceeded all expectations we had for this adventure as a family. The condo is beautiful, bright, spacious and comfortable. What really makes this condo special though is the incredible views. The straight-on, panoramic views of the Gulf from the huge balcony that spans the entire length of the condo are breathtaking. From sunrise to sunset we lived on this balcony when we weren’t at the pool or beach! Even the views of Sarasota Bay from the front of the condo were gorgeous and a few times we took chairs out to that balcony to watch the beautiful sunrise over Sarasota. You have a water view out of every window in this condo! Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay was included in the condo. It had the nicest supply of kitchen appliances, utensils and dinnerware (glass and plastic) we have ever seen in a rental. There are plenty of towels and bedding. Everything you need for the beach and pool is here: towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, pool noodles, and more. However, Beachplace supplies chairs and umbrellas out on the beach so we never even had to carry our own down! The beach here is stunning. We enjoyed countless walks on the beach from sunrise to sunset. The beach is gorgeous and the water was crystal clear and warm for our June stay. The wildlife! We saw manatees swimming right in front of Beachplace, sea turtles coming out of the water to nest at night, tons of dolpins and beautiful sea birds. Our favorites were the baby sandpipers! Sometimes the water was so calm you could just float in the water with a float and sometimes the conditions were perfect for boogie boards. We also really enjoyed the pool area. It’s a very large pool area, tons of chairs and tables and umbrellas and something for everyone – a swim lane you can sign up for to swim laps, a shallow area, deep area, hot tub and a separate baby pool. The pool water was a perfect, warm and refreshing temperature every day. The Beachplace grounds were very well kept with beautiful plants and palm trees. We felt very safe and secure on the property. The location is fantastic – centrally located on the island, a short drive to the Publix for groceries, St. Armand’s for dining and shopping and lots of great restaurants within a short drive. The owners are awesome, very friendly and were quick to respond to all of our questions from booking to check out. We can't wait to return!"

Pets that are completely housebroken and under 50lbs are allowed - but please note they are to be on a leash at all times if outside and dogs are not allowed on the beach per city laws.
