All you need to bring are groceries, and if you would like to use the BBQ grill, charcoal and lighter fluid. The interior of the cabin is designed to make guests feel relaxed and comfortable. Whether you're floating, fishing (this stretch is known for trophy smallmouth bass), swimming, or exploring local attractions, you'll be in the heart of it all. Three top-rated outfitters are located within 5 miles, offering canoe, kayak, raft, and tube rentals. One outfitter even has a convenient put-in spot just below the cabin—you can walk there, float the river, and they'll shuttle you back afterward.

The Walker Ford Cabin sits on two acres right on the banks of the upper Meramec River. Enjoy panoramic views of the river and the bottom hay fields. Bring chairs and sit next to the river, take a swim, dip a worm or just watch the turtles sun on the logs. Relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine watching for the occasional bald Eagle to soar up the river. The cabin has been newly renovated and is ready for guests. There is a beautiful rock fireplace, kitchenette, a queen size bed, queen pull out sofa and a dining table in the main cabin. The back sitting area has beautiful river views along with a twin sleeper sofa. The only thing you need when you come to our cabin is food, charcoal (if needed) and toiletries. The kitchen is fully stocked with what you may need to cook a meal and the linens and towels are also provided. There are several wineries and a canoe/raft outfitter within a mile away or bring your own canoe or kayak and float from our local access Birds Nest right down to your cabin. Shuttle service available...$35 local access. Inquire for more details. There is a BBQ grill and washers game for your use.

Once inside, the living area includes a corner fireplace and overstuffed dark leather furniture facing a large HDTV that’s perfect for a family movie night.

In the country kitchen, you’ll find a gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Open shelving and plenty of counter space hold the dishware and the premier drip coffee maker. A farmhouse dining table sits in the middle of the kitchen, creating the perfect spot to sip coffee and nibble on some bacon and eggs for breakfast.

The three private bedrooms are simply furnished and comfortable, each with a queen-size bed, side tables, and windows overlooking the rolling green lawn. Country Cabin also features two full bathrooms— ideal for a family or a group of friends traveling together.

SLEEPS 7 with two bedrooms and one bathroom- Our authentic log cabin was built in the early 1930's and has been newly restored. It is situated on nearly 300 peaceful acres along the Meramec River and has river frontage for you to enjoy. We have easy river access and a small gravel bar. Float trips by canoe or raft may be available by reservation for an additional fee. Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed, antique dresser, and a fireplace. The bunkroom has one full bed, one twin bed, and a set of bunk beds. The back porch dining hall seats 12 people and has plenty of room for games and activities (we have several to choose from or bring your own). There is a TV, SmartTV, Netflix, and VCR/DVD player (we have some movies too)! The kitchen is stocked too! There is room to pitch a tent (or several for an additional fee)! Relax away from the stress in our quiet getaway and make many new memories. This place is the perfect place to get away from it all and 'rough it' while still enjoying the modern conveniences of home!

GET AWAY FROM IT ALL!
This Cabin was built in 2017. It is an open floor plan with Flat screen TV, a queen bed, sofa that has a fold out twin bed and a lounge chair that has a fold out single bed. There are also 2 cots if needed for additional guests!

If you are looking for a secluded and quiet spot to stay while trout fishing, floating the river, enjoying one of the local wineries, getting away to enjoy nature/peace and quiet or just like drinking coffee in your underwear all day on the porch this is the spot for you!

The cabin is located in the scenic Ozark mountains and is 300 yards from the parking lot at the start of the Woodson K. Woods conservation area with 5,658 acres of public hunting land.
Once your at the parking lot a hike down what locals refer to as "cardiac hill" provides fishing access to the heart of the renowned Meramec River Red Ribbon Trout Fishing area, this is a gated conservation road leading to the Meramec river and is about 1/2 mile long hill, going down is a breeze coming up takes some cardio! Hence the name “Cardiac Hill”.
There are several river access you can drive to within minutes to swim or fish, just ask and we will be happy to help you find the perfect one to hang out on for the day!

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
-We do not have river frontage and you can not see the river from the cabin.
-From the cabin to the river is a just over 1/2 mile walk using the public cardiac hill access.
- To get to this cabin you will have to drive down 3 miles of gravel road.

-The towns of St. James and Cuba are both about a 15 minute drive from the cabin, where you can find several restaurants and grocery stores.

Surrounded by woods that are filled with chirping birds and rustling trees, the facade of Copperstone Cottage features rustic clapboard siding and two welcoming Adirondack chairs. In the warmer months, the trees are lush and green, and the cabin is surrounded by colorful flowers. While in the cooler months you’ll love the vibrant turning of the leaves and the dusting of snow. The front also features a barbecue for grilling juicy burgers for dinner, and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows over the flames for dessert. 

Inside the front door lies the main living area, which has been expertly designed to accommodate everything you need. Honey-colored wood paneling surrounds the room, and large windows let in plenty of the dappled sunlight. In the living space, there’s a plush sofa piled high with comfy throw pillows and facing the stone fireplace. Over the mantel is an HDTV that’s ideal for game day or movie night.

A Well-Stocked Kitchen Space
Next to the living area is a custom kitchen island with seating for two at the bar, and a bistro table by the window with more seating. The kitchen is fully equipped with a complete suite of appliances, including a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, wall oven, and range top. From baking muffins to making meatloaf, you’ll find everything you need in this efficient kitchen. 

Sweet Dreams in the Sleeping Nook
In the cozy sleeping nook, there’s an ultra-comfy hand-carved queen-size log bed and two nightstands. Next to the sleeping space is the spacious bathroom, which includes a step-up jetted tub that is sure to soak all of your cares away. The bathroom also includes a step-in shower and a large vanity with a bowl sink. 

An Outstanding Oasis in the Ozarks
The back deck of Copperstone Cottage features plenty of space for lounging or dining alfresco in warmer temperatures. You’ll want to brew your morning mug of coffee and take it out here to watch the woods wake up around you. The hushed peace of the forest and the surrounding natural beauty are endlessly soothing. 

When you’re ready for a little adventure, the Meramec River is close by for fishing, kayaking, or tubing. Guests of Copperstone Cottage also have access to a communal riverside pavilion that houses a smoker, bbq grills, bar, hanging firepit, and a large deck. The location of this homey hideaway places you close to local hiking trails and the river— allowing you to easily explore this idyllic ozark mountain paradise.

Driftwood Lodge (large guest house that accommodates up to 13 guests).
Driftwood Lodge is settled among the trees snuggled around the Meramec River bottoms. This unit has a full working kitchen which contains a large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, full size cook stove, all cooking utensils, pots, pans, sink, and a large dining table in the dining area. The Driftwood Lodge has four bedrooms. The master suite includes one king size bed and its own 3/4 master bathroom. The second and third guest bedrooms feature one queen size bed in each room with a deck overlooking the river bottoms. The fourth guest bedroom includes a double/ twin bunk combination. This unit has an additional two full bathrooms located in two different halls. Included in this guest house is a den with a sleeper sofa and a television. This guest house also has another living room that includes a fireplace, a sleeper sofa, and a television with a deck overlooking the river bottoms. Ask about handicap accessibility.

By swimming in the pool and lakes, I recognize and fully understand certain things, including:
At no time is there a lifeguard on Duty.
My use of the pool facilities & lakes during my stay involves certain risks, including but not limited to:
The risk of injury resulting from possible malfunction of the pool/lake equipment.
The risk of injuries resulting from tripping or falling over obstacles in the pool/lake area.
The risk or injuries resulting from participating in any action in the pool/ lake/ or grounds.
3. I recognize fully and understand that the above list is not a complete or exhaustive list of all possible risks; the list only provides examples of types or risks I am assuming.
In Exchange for the owner allowing me to utilize the pool/lakes and area during my stay, I hereby agree to the conditions below. I fully intend and choose to give up the legal rights, as stated below:
TO WAIVE ALL CLAIMS that I have or may have in the future against the Owner, its directors, officers, employees, agents, or representatives (hereinafter referred to as the “Releasees”) Relating to my use of the pool, pool area, lake, lake area, grounds and home.
TO RELEASE THE RELEASEES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury, expense, or other cost that I may suffer or that my next of kin may suffer in connection with my use of the Releasees pool, pool area, lake, lake area, ground, and home.
TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE RELEASEES from any and all liability to property, or personal injury to, any third party, resulting from the use of the pool, pool area, lake, lake area, grounds, and home.

THE SUPERVISION AND SAFETY OF ALL CHILDREN ARE THE DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY OF GUEST OR PARENTS, OR CARETAKERS OF ANY CHILDREN ON THE PREMISES, including but not limited to decks, bunk beds, loft area, dock, pool, and any and all other activities on the premises.

Entire Agreement: This document and any attached addenda constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No oral statements shall be binding. This Agreement may only be amended by a written document duly executed by all parties. It is the intention of the parties that if any portion of this Agreement is invalid for any reason, such invalidity shall not void the remainder of the Rental Agreement.

I have read and understood this document. I am aware that by renting this property, I am waiving certain legal rights that I may have against the Releasees, and I fully agree to do so.

That I am over the age of 30 and that I am responsible and will adhere to all the rules of the property.
That this Waiver, Release, and Agreement is fully effective and shall be effective and binding upon me, and my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and assigns, or anyone else authorized to act on my behalf or on behalf of my estate.

I have read and understood this document. I am aware that by renting this property, I am waiving certain legal rights that I may have against the Releasee, and I fully agree to do so.

- "Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! We got a lot of use out of the great pool and hot tub, and fishing was very fun for all ages (Papa got a catfish and the 6 year old became very independent with bluegill and bass!). The house was spacious and we appreciated having a second refrigerator. I like to be prepared when we stay in a rental house, so I appreciate detailed reviews. I brought laundry soap, which was good because each guest gets one towel/washcloth/hand towel, so we needed to do laundry a couple times and there were only two pods. I had brought bug spray, which was lucky because the grass to get out to the pond was extremely high and we had a couple ticks. It was cut toward the end of our stay, though. The owner was responsive and easy to reach. He mentioned that there was a mix up with our group coming the same day someone left, which could be why there were a couple areas that hadn’t been completely cleaned (sticky kitchen floor and toothpaste in sink and dumpster already full) but sheets, towels, tubs and counters were clean. Like most rentals, there were a lot of ants in the kitchen, so bring gallon bags for your snacks, etc. I would definitely rent this property again!"

A Hillside Home Base
Through the front door lies the simple living area, with a plush sofa and easy chair and a large HDTV. Overhead, the galvanized metal ceiling adds an industrial feel. Around the corner is the fully-equipped galley kitchen— complete with a gas range, refrigerator, microwave, and drip coffee maker. Nearby is the formal dining space, with a farmhouse-style table that seats four next to a vintage hutch.

Each of the two bedrooms has plenty of privacy and peace, so everyone has the opportunity to recharge at the end of the day. The first bedroom features a comfy queen-size bed, and the second bedroom includes a full-size bed. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living area, and the full bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

A Spacious Back Porch
The large covered back porch overlooks the rolling hillside and the peaceful woodlands and includes a barbecue for grilling fresh 4J Cattle Farm burgers and steaks. There are also plenty of lounge chairs and a picnic table for alfresco dining. The large surrounding yard is vibrant green in the warmer months and includes a circular fire pit for roasting marshmallows in the twilight. Chances are, you’ll find you spend a majority of your time out here, relaxing with a local vintage wine and watching the fireflies.

Escape to Hillside Cabin
When it’s time to venture out and explore your beautiful surroundings, the private Meramec River access point is close by, with a small pavilion for riverside picnics and a bluff for the daredevils in your group to jump off. The river is great for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing, too. Hillside Cabin is the ideal escape for the whole family.

Once inside, the main living area features two super-comfy overstuffed sofas with plenty of space for everyone to snuggle up in front of the fireplace. A large HDTV is mounted above the flames for a perfect family movie night with a big bowl of popcorn. Gleaming hardwood floors, stone walls, and knotty wood paneling add to the magical mountain cabin vibes.

An Open Kitchen and Dining Area
The kitchen is wide open to the living space, which is ideal for families and groups of friends that want to enjoy some snacks without sacrificing any socializing time. Natural wood cabinets surround the full suite of premier stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and electric range. The kitchen island has some casual bar stool seating for four, while the nearby dining table has seating for four more. This is the ideal space to flip a stack of fresh blueberry pancakes while waiting for the morning coffee to brew, or prepare some snacks to take on the hiking trails. 

Two Blissful Bedrooms
The two bedrooms offer a tranquil space to recharge at the end of the day. Each bedroom has a comfy queen-size mattress set into a rugged log bed frame. There are also bedside lamps for reading in bed and ceiling fans overhead for comfort. The full bathroom features a jetted soaking tub and a separate step-in shower. There’s also a pull-out sofa in the living room for additional flexible sleeping space.

An Idyllic Location on the Meramec River
Outside on the covered porch, there’s a perfect spot for an alfresco meal in the warmer months, and a newly installed white rock firepit area with a charcoal grill for barbecuing and roasting marshmallows for dessert. Nestled on an idyllic 16-acre spread in the magical Missouri Ozarks, guests of Sassafras Cabin also have access to a communal riverside pavilion that houses a smoker, bbq grills, bar, hanging firepit, and a large deck. Spend your days hiking, mountain biking, fishing, or paddleboarding on the river, and your evenings sipping cocktails under the stars by the firepit. Sassafras Cabin is the place where true laid-back ozark mountain relaxation comes to life.

In the center of the kitchen, a large custom-built island adds more workspace and a casual place to sit for up to six people. This is the place where everyone will naturally gather together over fresh OJ and coffee while planning your day of adventure on the river.

Three Restful Bedrooms
The first bedroom is on this main level and includes a comfy queen-size bed. The full bathroom is like a private spa— complete with a deep soaking tub that’s a great spot to relax after a long day of outdoor adventure. The remaining two bedrooms are located on the basement level, and each have queen-size beds, wood paneling, and vintage corrugated metal ceilings. There’s also a full bathroom on the basement level and a spacious laundry room. A queen-size sofa bed is also located in the main living area.

A Magical Mountain Cabin
Besides the main level deck with the spectacular views of the river, there’s also an outdoor space on the basement level that houses a sublime hot tub for soaking your cares away and some additional cushioned seating for soaking in the woodland beauty that surrounds you. Guests of Dogwood Cabin also have access to a communal riverside pavilion that houses a smoker, bbq grills, bar, hanging firepit, and a large deck. The location of this homey hideaway places you close to local hiking trails and the river— giving you easy access to explore and enjoy this beautiful, unspoiled part of the country. Heron's Landing is a large lower level guest house. This air conditioned unit has a full working kitchen which contains a large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, gas stove, all cooking utensils, pots, pans, large single bowl sink, and a dining table in the dining area. Heron's Landing has 3 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have sliding glass doors to a covered patio overlooking the Meramec River bottoms. Each bedroom features one luxurious queen size bed. Along with the queen size beds, one of the bedrooms includes a full size foldout futon and one of the other bedrooms has a twin size fold down chaise for additional sleeping options. This large unit includes two bathrooms located off the living room and den areas. The den features a propane fireplace that adds a cozy feel to the property. The living room features a sleeper sofa, and glass patio doors leading out to more of the spacious deck that overlooks the river bottoms where wildlife flourishes. Heron's Landing also has a den that includes two sofas, one being a sleeper sofa, and a satellite TV. In total there are three patios leading off Herons Landing that include a large charcoal BBQ grill, two picnic tables, and other patio furniture to relax in while you breathe the fresh country air and listen to the sounds of nature such as birds singing in the trees. Finally, to complete the unit, there is an over/under apartment washer and dryer for your convenience. Please ask about our handicap accessible areas.

- "This place was perfect for all of our needs- the beds were comfy, the kitchen is very well stocked, plenty of towels, toilet paper and bedding. Kitchen has a few coffee pots, blender, crock pot, etc. There were also fans and heaters in each closets if needed. The AC works great, very spacious and great for groups. We had 9. The kitchen was great since we had a LOT of food. The extra fridge on the porch was perfect also for extras. The walk to the river is just a few minutes walk and the beach/river area gave us the fun we needed and our own space. Definitely going back!"

Murphy’s Retreat is a spacious hunting lodge hideaway that holds a special place in our hearts— since it’s the spot where our family’s Meramec River adventure began. Boasting a wide-open floor plan and a deck with breathtaking views overlooking the winding river bed below, Murphy’s Retreat has space for 12 people to gather together in the gorgeous Missouri Ozarks, yet there’s still plenty of room for everyone to spread out and find a little private time and peace. 

A Grand Great Room
Open the glass-paned front door and step inside the sprawling great room. Shiny wood floors, soaring vaulted ceilings, and two walls of large windows create a spacious room that’s filled with natural sunlight. Two buttery soft leather sofas and two plush armchairs provide plenty of comfy seating space, and the wood-burning fireplace is ideal for those chilly Missouri evenings. Over the fireplace is a large HDTV for catching the game or hosting a family movie night. 

A Spacious, Open Kitchen
A super-convenient bar separates the kitchen from the living space, yet keeps everyone close together too. The kitchen is arranged in an efficient u-shape and is outfitted with lots of wood cabinets and butcher block countertops. Premier appliances include an electric range, microwave oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Next to the kitchen is a formal dining space illuminated by an antler chandelier and bookshelves with an impressive array of board games for the occasional rainy day. 

Three Serene Sleeping Spaces
The three bedrooms at Murphy’s Retreat are spread out to allow for plenty of privacy even with larger groups. On the main level, there are three bedrooms— one with a queen-size, log-framed bed and a twin-size day bed with a twin-size trundle, and two additional bedrooms with two full-size beds. The full bathroom features a tiled walk-in shower with double bowl vanity. Then on the lower level, there is a large, flexible space with a queen-size bed, a queen-size sleeper sofa, and a small sitting area. 

A Dreamy Deck With Magnificent Views
Chances are, you’ll find yourself drawn outside again and again to the fantastic covered porch and newly installed firepit area overlooking the winding river below— it’s everyone’s favorite spot. In the mornings, this is the perfect place to bring your steaming mug of morning coffee as you watch the forest wake up around you. At sunset, pour a glass of wine and break out the binoculars to search the sky for the majestic eagles soaring overhead and nesting in the treetops. During the day, you’ll want to lace up your hiking shoes and explore the surrounding trails, or grab your rod and reel and catch that evening’s dinner in the river. Guests of Murphy’s Retreat also have access to a riverside pavilion that houses a smoker, bbq grills, bar, hanging firepit, and a large deck. This is riverside ozark mountain bliss at its very best.

Floating, golfing, hunting, hiking, wineries, caves, shops, restaurants, historical sites, etc. are all close. We designed the cabin with the log cabin experience in mind. Log beds, custom log furniture, cedar tables & island, cedar vanities and a relaxing outdoor cabin feel with log benches to sit & relax by the fire pit or play outdoor games.

This is a 2000sf cabin with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a spacious loft, 5 smart TV's, WIFI, board games, kids toys/books, a gaming system and full arcade! It is a fully stocked cabin with everything you with need. All you need to do is pack your bags, grab some groceries/drinks & bring your family & friends! There is parking for up to 7 cars on the driveway and parking pads. We ask that you do not park on the grass as we have a septic tank which can not withstand the pressure of cars. Contact before booking for special rates, discounts and any requests.

There are so many fun activities close by: floating, golf, fishing, hunting, hiking, cave tours, wineries, water sports, horseback riding, archery, restaurants, historical sites, shopping, etc.

NOTE::
Only persons on the reservation are to be on the premises at any time. Any additional guests to be found shall incur a fee at the owners discretion of a minimum of $150 fine plus additional guest fees. No parties or gatherings unless explicitly approved by the owners prior to check in. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS of any kind. There is a $500 fine for any pets brought on the property plus any additional pet cleaning fee at the owners discretion. The reason for these rules is we must account for liability and insurance for all guests on the property. It is to protect both ourselves and the renters/guests. Additionally, do not unplug or mess with any ring cameras.

There is a king master en-suite on the main floor. Upstairs there are two more king bedrooms and a loft with a twin/queen bunk bed & a full bed. There are three (3) twin & one (1) queen air mattresses & pump available. Extra blankets, sheets, fleece blankets and pillows are all there for your convenience. There are also 4 animal themed kids sleeping bags for the little ones.
All bedrooms are equipped with USB ports on each of the headboard posts, nightstands with antler lamps, a smart TV & ceiling fans.

Bathrooms:
***All bathrooms are stocked with individual bars of face & body soap, individuals shampoo/conditioners bottles, a hair dryer, q-tips, cotton balls & cotton pads. All bath towels, hand towels & wash clothes are provided. Ample toilet paper is provided for each bathroom.
- The master bathroom had a vessel bowl double vanity, walk in tin shower, separate toilet area and scale.
- The upstairs full bath has a vessel bowl double sink, a toilet, and tub/shower combo.
- The half bath has a vessel bowl sink and toilet.

Laundry Room:
-The laundry room has a full size stackable washer/dryer. Detergent is provided.
-There is a high chair and pack n play if needed.
-There is a first aid kit, outdoor games, chairs, highchair, vacuum, wet jet, mop, extra cleaning supplies, trash bags, bug spray, iron, ironing board, etc.
-The electrical panel is in the laundry room. We ask that you do not touch it without the permission of the owner.

Patio/Gable Porch/Bakyard:
There is a table that seats 8 on the gable porch. Right off is a gravel area with a picnic table. There is a charcoal grill (please bring own charcoal). We ask that after you grill (and it is completely cooled down) that you replace the grill cover properly. We have a few outdoor games. Fun for everyone!! We just ask that you put them away after use. There is also an industrial light/fan on the gable porch. It is run by remote, which is kept inside on the fireplace mantle.

Loft:
The loft has games and books for kids as well as a tv, gaming system & full arcade. We just as that you do not bring food or beverages as the gaming systems can be damaged easily. They are inspected after each rental and any damages will be the responsibility of the renter.

Fire Pit:
Follow a lighted pathway to the fire pit! There are custom log benches where you can sit and roast marshmallows or simply relax by the fire.
***We ask that each fire is completely extinguished after each use, especially before heading in for the night or leaving the property.

General:
The thermostat is set to 70. Please do not adjust to higher than 72 or lower than 70. It is run remotely and can be reset on our end.

There are security cameras on the property and an alarm system on the cabin to ensure accurate check in. They are both deactivated when guests arrive and not reactivated until they depart unless there is an inaccurate guest count or reports of problems on the property. Please do not try to move, block, touch or deactivate them. We respect your privacy and utilize these when the cabin is unoccupied.

The local grocery store is about 2 miles from the cabin. They will have everything you need:). There is also a local Walmart. It is not a super Walmart but carries the necessities. A Dollar Tree is located next to the Walmart for smaller needs.

This quiet, charming, private, multi-room is part of a larger lodge home located in the scenic Ozarks outside of historic Cuba,MO. This one bedroom, one bath, one living room walkout basement is perfect for unplugging and connecting to nature, yourself, your partner, or all 3 while enjoying the abundant wildlife. Sit around the fire pit enjoying star gazing while nestled among the Ozark forest. Located 4 miles from Scott's Ford and Riverside access on the Meramec River. We accommodate for 2 adults but for an additional fee of $15, we do allow for up to 4 guests. There is additional sleeping space on the large couch and a cot, which is stored in the bedroom closet, which can also be set up.
The Space
The property is managed as a quiet place with a diversity of wildlife. Behind the yard is a native plant restoration area and the front of the property is periodically managed with controlled burning to facilitate woodland wildflowers and the wildlife community it supports. Perfect for reconnecting to nature with no other houses around. You will be surrounded by serenity. We provide private parking.
Guest access
You will have the entire back yard and fire pit to yourself. (Firewood is available for purchase through the Fox Ridge webstore.) There will not be any guests upstairs. On rare occasion, the owner might be home and stay upstairs but you will have the entire backyard and fire pit to yourself. You will have a very quiet and peaceful experience, with the opportunity to connect with nature.

Located approximately 4 miles from Scott’s Ford and 4 miles to Riverside Road public accesses to the Meramec River. Approximately 10 miles to the St. James Area wineries.
For our guest’s safety there is a security camera attached to the garage which views the parking area.
Wifi has been recently upgraded to Starlink, providing a great streaming service.

Downstairs is the walk-out basement that has been transformed into a fun game room, complete with a ping pong table, a dart board, and a plush sleeper sofa. Glass doors lead outside to the covered patio and the charcoal grill. There’s even a fantastic firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs— ideal for roasting marshmallows while watching the sky above that sparkles with thousands of stars.

An Open, Inviting Great Room
Enter through the front door and step into the bright, open great room, where the living and dining spaces merge seamlessly. In the living area, there are two spacious sofas that face a large HDTV, creating the perfect space to curl up with some of your favorite snacks for a Netflix binge.
In the kitchen, there’s a central island with four bar stools that are illuminated with a lovely light fixture and act as both a workspace and a casual dining space. The updated kitchen has natural wood cabinetry topped with glossy quartz countertops. Newer stainless steel appliances include a huge refrigerator, an electric range with a vent hood, and a dishwasher. There’s also a countertop microwave and coffee maker. Open shelving is stacked with beautiful dishware and glassware.

Two Relaxing Bedrooms and One Bath
Each of the two bedrooms has an inviting queen-size bed made up with crisp white cotton sheets. The windows include modern blinds that help block out the sunshine, for those days when you want to sleep in or catch an afternoon cat nap. In the one bathroom, there’s a large tile step-in shower with glass doors and a single marble-topped vanity sink.

A Back Porch Paradise
Chances are, as comfortable as the interior of Riverview Cabin is, you’ll find you spend most of your time outside on the back porch. Out here, there’s an incredibly relaxing hot tub that’s a serene spot to soak after a day on the river or nearby hiking trails. There’s also a space for alfresco dining, and the stairs lead down to a classic fire pit and BBQ grill, where you can cook burgers, roast marshmallows, and sip wine while you gaze at the river below or the stars in the sky.

Guest River Access
For our guests, we offer two private, ultra-convenient Meramec River access points. The first guest access point is about a mile and a half from Riverview Cabin and has a grassy area for lawn chairs, a pop-up canopy, a large bluff across the river, and a sunny swimming hole. The second guest access point is about three miles away and has a covered pavilion with a deck overlooking the river, a fun bar area, a fireplace, a fridge, and a sink with running water. There are also corn-hole boards, lots of shade, and a swimming area. This cool spot sits 100 yards above the fishing springs cave as well. From each of these amazing access points, you can float, kayak, fish, or simply relax and enjoy your time in nature.

At this time, the river view that you can see from the cabin is not available for guest use; it is private property.

some puzzles and board games supplied in the cabin as well.
Next to the living area, there’s an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, open
shelving with coffee cups to enjoy your morning cup of coffee and a convenient island
with barstool seating. Our kitchen is stocked with plates, silverware, toaster, coffee
maker and a microwave.
This first level conveniently houses a bathroom with a single vanity and shower as well
as two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with queen sized bunk beds.
When you walk upstairs you will find the second bathroom with the perfect shower/tub
combo attached to the 3rd bedroom with a comfy queen bed. Be sure to lookout the
window for breathtaking views. Our cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 8

Located on the property you get private river access to float, relax on our gravel bar and
take in the sights, views and fun! We have several floating options nearby:
 Floating Info: Garrisons is closest, then Huzzah, Bass, and Meramec River
resort. Also, if you want to bring your own kayak/rafts, there is public access
in Steelville that is a 4 mile float to our gravel bar. You can also do a private 4
mile float if you have your own equipment. Public put in is at Birds nest and
it’s 4 miles to our gravel bar- you can see our Snow Spring Ranch sign from
the river.

Guest access
Enter through the front door and upstairs to your suite. This is NOT a one room space. During your stay, you WILL have the second floor all to yourself. It is the equivalent to a small apartment. Guests have access to the entire second floor, which includes 2 private bedrooms, private bathroom & private sitting area.

You’re also welcome to explore the front yard, and use the seating in the front patio. We live on the property as well (in the main level), so we’re always nearby if you need anything or have any questions.

It’s blackberry season! Come pick blackberries on the nature trail. Blackberry season usually runs through July.

The property is managed as a quiet place with a diversity of wildlife. Behind the yard is a native plant restoration area and the front of the property is periodically managed with controlled burning to facilitate woodland wildflowers and the wildlife community it supports. Perfect for reconnecting to nature with no other houses around. You will be surrounded by serenity. We provide private parking.

Guest access
You will have the entire back yard and fire pit to yourself. Firewood is provided through the on-line store for your convenience. There will not be any guests upstairs. On rare occasion, the owner might be home and stay upstairs but you will have the entire backyard and fire pit to yourself. You will have a very quiet and peaceful experience, with the opportunity to connect with nature.

Come check out our winter Bald Eagle population at Scott’s Ford River access. We are located approximately 5 miles from Scott’s Ford and 4 miles to Riverside Road public accesses to the Meramec River. Approximately 10 miles to the St. James Area wineries.

Enjoy a unique country experience at our 3rd generation family homestead. The single story home was built in 1956 replacing the original old farmhouse. Mid-century inspired furnishings enhance the ambiance and sets the atmosphere for your stay on memory lane. Relive special memories of trips to the grandma’s house or create new memories at your home-away-from-home.

The space
The home has three bedrooms and one bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and the others have vintage full size beds. It sleeps 4 adults comfortably or a couple can share a full size bed. Central heat and air keep you comfortable with plenty of blankets. The house is equipped with all bedding, linens, towels, hair dryer and soaps.

The living room equipped with a Roku TV and DVD player, opens to the eat-in kitchen that is well equipped with vintage kitchen items. There is a regular coffee pot, microwave as well as all the appliances you’ll need for your stay. Just bring some groceries and we’ll have the basic pantry items.

Enjoy morning coffee on the back porch or use it as a quiet office work space. Relax and make yourself at home breathing in the fresh country air on the back patio or front porch. Catch a view of wildlife, fish the pond, enjoy the view of the creek, go for a hike then enjoy some other nearby adventures.

Other things to note
We’re close to Route 66, scenic rivers, natural springs and caves located in the central Missouri Ozarks about 80 mile East of St. Louis. There are so many things to do nearby. Trout fish at Meramec Springs, take a float trip on the river, tour Onondaga Cave and Meramec Caverns. Take a tour of the St. James Winery and see the grape fields of our own little mid-west wine country.

Our closest town, Cuba is rich in character and small town friendliness. The Native American history is displayed at the visitor center. Take a walk through town and learn the local history beautifully told by talented artists through 21 murals dubbing Cuba the Mural City.

Should you decide not to enjoy your own home cooking at the house, this diverse rural area has a variety of food choices including Mexican, Chinese, Homestyle, Bakery and Deli, BBQ, Angus Steaks, Seafood and list goes on.

Cozy Corners, built in 1945, offers approximately 900 sq. ft. You, my guests, are recipients of the wall verses that I put on the walls while I was living there, before I knew the house's future occupation. Due to my personal life style and choices, I do not provide TV, but I am now offering WiFi. Pets (pet fee applies) and children are welcome, but no additional supplies are provided at this time. A Ring doorbell monitors both outside doors. Come enjoy my favorite home town known as mural city.

The space
Though the walls aren't all perfectly straight, they are painted in colors that I carefully chose and applied myself. The master bathroom is small. The floors throughout the house aren't quite level, and in the winter time they get quite chilly. There is no mail service at Cozy Corners.I personally maintain the building and yard. Please notify me if anything needs repair.

Guest access
The house and yard are available to my guests. The neighbors yard (my yard ends about half way between my house and the tan house) is off limits as well as the lean-to garden shed off the back of the home.

Other things to note
Cozy Corners is now monitored by the ring doorbell, but still does not provide TV, infant or child beds, pet supplies, ash trays, or mail swrvice. Details and furniture are subject to change with the seasons and as I grow my business and/or find room for more things in my other home.

This log cabin is the perfect place for a couple's getaway where you can enjoy the great outdoors in a peaceful setting. The cabin is located just off "Route 66" in Cuba, MO. There is no television which was intentional-the Cabin has everything that guests need to enjoy their stay offline -- games, books, magazines, puzzles.We are the perfect stop if you're traveling the Historic Route 66 highway, or if you're looking for a perfect spot for a weekend in the country. As charming and appealing as the flowering tree it’s named for, Dogwood Cabin is a cozy spot to call home in the gorgeous Missouri Ozarks. Featuring three bedrooms spread out over two floors, there’s lots of room for everyone, yet the spacious open floor plan means it’s easy for you to stay close, too. Fantastic Family Living Space
A quaint front porch, which opens to reveal a wide-open living and dining space. Dark wood floors, glossy wood-paneled ceilings, and rustic wood wainscotting provide the perfect mountain cabin vibe, while two overstuffed sofas and a leather wingback armchair provide the comfort. In the corner, a large HDTV sits over the crackling stone fireplace, and a glass-paneled door leads outside to the deck. This soaring space feels like your own private treehouse overlooking the river bed, treetops, and wildlife below. 

Wide Open Kitchen & Dining
Next to the living area is the spacious and homey kitchen. Natural wood cabinets surround a full suite of premier stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, electric range, and refrigerator. There’s lots of counter space for prepping meals or snacks for a day of hiking or fishing. In the center of the kitchen, a large custom-built island adds more workspace and a casual place to sit for up to six people. This is the place where everyone will naturally gather together over fresh OJ and coffee while planning your day of adventure on the river.

Three Restful Bedrooms
The first bedroom is on this main level and includes a comfy queen-size bed. The full bathroom is like a private spa— complete with a deep soaking tub that’s a great spot to relax after a long day of outdoor adventure. The remaining two bedrooms are located on the basement level, and each have queen-size beds, wood paneling, and vintage corrugated metal ceilings. There’s also a full bathroom on the basement level and a spacious laundry room. A queen-size sofa bed is also located in the main living area.

A Magical Mountain Cabin
Besides the main level deck with the spectacular views of the river, there’s also an outdoor space on the basement level that houses a sublime hot tub for soaking your cares away and some additional cushioned seating for soaking in the woodland beauty that surrounds you. Guests of Dogwood Cabin also have access to a communal riverside pavilion that houses a smoker, bbq grills, bar, hanging firepit, and a large deck. The location of this homey hideaway places you close to local hiking trails and the river— giving you easy access to explore and enjoy this beautiful, unspoiled part of the country. *** New Log Cabin! Fixed with all amenities! We built this cabin for a place to get away, relax & make some memories with family & friends. Floating, golfing, hunting, wineries, caves, hiking, shops, restaurants & historical sites, etc. all close by. We designed things with the log cabin experience in mind. Log beds, custom log furniture, cedar vanities & a relaxing outdoor cabin feel with log benches to sit & relax by the fire pit or play some outdoor games.

The space
Welcome! We’re excited to have you stay at our NEW log cabin! With the hustle and bustle of everyday living, plus the crazy year of 2020/2021, we decided to build a little place so we could get away, relax, enjoy family time. Also, we found we were able to spend more time outdoors & make memories. We tried to think of every detail to make your stay comfortable and pleasant for both kids and adults. This is a 2000 sf cabin with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a spacious loft, 5 SMART TV's, WIFI, board games, kid toys, a gaming system & a full arcade! It is a fully stocked cabin with everything you will need. All you need to do is pack your bags, groceries/drinks & grab your friends and/or family.
It is less than a mile from the golf course, 5-10 minutes from floating, 2 miles to the grocery store and restaurants, but still feels remote.

There is an open floor plan so plenty of space for everyone to hang out.

There is a king master en-suite on the main floor. Upstairs there are two more king bedrooms and a loft with a twin/queen bunk & a full bed. Three (3) twin & one (1) queen air mattress & pump are also available. Extra sheets, blankets, fleece blankets & pillows are there for your convenience. There are 4 animal themed kids sleeping bags for kids too.
All bedrooms are equipped with USB charging ports on each headboard post, nightstands with antler lamps, a SMART TV & ceiling fans!

Bathrooms:
****All full bathrooms are stocked with individual bars of face & body soap, individual shampoo/conditioner bottles, a hair dryer, q-tips, cotton balls & cotton pads. All bath towels, hand towels & wash cloths are provided. Ample toilet paper is provided for each bathroom****
-The master bath has a vessel bowl double vanity, walk in tin shower, separate toilet area & scale.
-The upstairs full bath has a vessel bowl double vanity, tub/shower combo.
-The half bath has a vessel bowl sink and toilet.

Laundry Room:
-The laundry room has a full size stackable washer/dryer. Detergent is provided. There is also a first aid kit, outdoor games/chairs, highchair, vacuum, wet jet, mop, extra cleaning supplies, trash bags, bug spray, iron, ironing board, etc available.
-The electric panel is located in the laundry room. Please do not touch without permission from the owners.

Patio/Gable Porch/Back Yard:
There is a table that seats 8 on the gable porch. Right off is a gravel area with a picnic table. There is a charcoal grill & charcoal as well. We ask that after you use the grill (and it's cooled down) that you replace the cover properly. We have a few outdoor games. Fun for everyone! (We just ask that you put them away when finished and store them inside). There is also a fan/light combo on the gable porch. It is run by a remote, which is kept inside on the fireplace mantle.

Loft:
The loft has games and books for kids as well as a tv, gaming system and full arcade! We just ask that no food or beverage be around the gaming system or arcade as damage can easily be done. They are inspected after each stay and damages are paid for by the renter if deemed damaged, broken or unrepairable.

Fire Pit:
Follow a lighted pathway to the fire pit! There are custom log benches out by the fire pit where you can roast marshmallows or simply relax by the fire.
***We ask that each fire it put out completely each night or before leaving the property. Do not let the fire pit burn overnight.

General:
-The thermostat is set to 70. Please do not adjust to higher than 72 or lower than 70. It is remotely controlled.

There are security cameras on the outside of the property and an alarm system on the cabin. They are both deactivated when guests arrive and are not reactivated until they depart. Please do not try to move or deactivate them. We respect your privacy but utilize these when the cabin is unoccupied:)

Guest access
A guest code will be given a unique generated entry code. There's a simple key coded door for easy access.
There is ample free parking. The only thing we ask is that you do not park on the grass. You're more than welcome to park on any park of the driveway, which is a tear drop/island shape with a couple parking pads.

Very private, yet very close to Cuba Missouri.

Close to; The Fanning Feed Store (worlds largest rocking chair), Wild
Wood Spring Lodge ( live music bands, check who is coming there!), Jesse James wax museum, Meramec State Park, Onondaga caves, Float trips, Missouri floating capital! With in 20 miles of Rolla Mo.

Nice; Restaurants, Grocery stores, Ace hardware store, Walmart all in Cuba Mo.

Great for ; Relaxing, Hiking, Swimming, ATV’s.

Lots of wild life, especially Deer and Turkey!

*You’ll have access to both floors with 3 full baths . There is 1 half bath out side the house by the pool, it is available when the pool is open.

* Although the unfinished area is accessible , we ask that you refrain from going back there or have the kids play back there. (This area has a boiler and other heating/cooling equipment which could get damaged and you would be responsible for repairs).

* Please stay out of the pool house with the pump equipment. There is nothing in there to see but it is very expensive equipment, and you would be liable if anything gets broken.

*Guests do not have access to the garage.

Great property with woods, trails, and cut lawn for hiking/exploring!

You are welcome to bring ATV’s to run on the grounds, and also small boats for the lake.

We have 5 camera's outside the home, and 3 cameras inside. This is only to monitor the home when no one is occupying the property. The two inside cameras are in the kitchen dining room and basement family room. Feel free to unplug them when you arrive, all we ask is that you plug them back in when you check out! There is a camera in the unfinished area to monitor the HVAC system Please do not touch this camera. There are also cameras outside; Front door, Garage, Upper Deck, Lower deck (By pool/hot tub), Lake. These are used to monitor the property when it's not in use. They are not able to be unplugged.

*Pets (two dog max) allowed for additional fee of $25/day per dog. This will be an additional fee usually added after booking.) We ask that they not be allowed on any furniture including beds. If they are wet or dirty please make sure they are clean and dry before letting them in the house.

* Although the unfinished area is accessible , we ask that you refrain from going back there or have the kids play back there. (This has a boiler and heating/cooling equipment which could get damaged and you would be responsible for repairs). Please do not go beyond the rope. You are welcome to use the pool toys and yard games.

* Please stay out of the pool house with the pump equipment. There is nothing in there to see but it is very expensive equipment, and you would be liable if anything gets broken.
