The hotel was built in 1868 and has lots of history to read about with displays throughout the building. Our room, the bridal suite, was so cute and cozy. It was very convenient for us because it was across from the train station, and we used the Amtrak train to travel to Hermann. If you're a light sleeper, you might not like hearing the trains passing by in the middle of the night, but the hotel was kind enough to provide earplugs and a noise machine."

We are a short walk to all the shops, restaurants, and bars in downtown Hermann, less than a mile from Stonehill and Hermannhoff Wineries, and are along the trolley route. We will comfortably sleep 6 and have additional accommodations for extra guests. The Hermann Trolley will pick you up right at the front door! The base price is for up to 6 people (2 people per room). For more than 6 people, there is a $25 per person, per night extra guest fee. - "Loved the house!" - "Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our two children and their spouses in scenic Hermann Missouri. Stone Cottage is exactly what we were looking for.. it was confortable for six adults but did not feel cramped and airless. We were a two block walking distance to the timeless streets of Hermann and within 10-15 minute drive to local wineries. It should be noted that most shops are closed on Mondays, as well as restaurants. We would assuredly request guesting at Stone Cottage, where our hostess, Crystal, was helpful and hospitable. Limited culinary tools are available but many coffee shops and restaurants will fill that gap. Highly recommend this VRBO offer."
