Plenty of kitchen gadgets and supplies along with towels and linens. The beds weren’t the comfiest to sleep on but they served their purpose. Beautiful Ranch house, private bedroom and Bathroom, recently totally renovated house, great kitchen, pool table, hot tub/jacuzzi. Guests will have access to whole house except masterbedroom and den. Free wifi, Beautiful views of the lake. Quiet neighborhood, house overlooks Lake Decatur. As homeowner, this is my primary home, so I am present when guests are staying. I also prefer to host men only because I am home too.

I only ask a couple things of my guests and one is not bringing anyone into my home that is not staying here. Enjoy the small town life in this 400 square foot loft in a detached garage. The bathroom is on the 1st floor as well as a washer and dryer. Enjoy the flashback to the 80s with the Pac-Man arcade game which has many other games too! Sleeps 3 adults. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children well. Will sleep 4 adults if you want to be cozy!!! We do allow a small dog but only 1 and there is a pet fee. Parking is in the front drive and there is a short walk to the garage in the backyard through grass.

This is a unique house that is located in historic west side Decatur. It's walking distance to Millikin University and student facilities that offer a quiet, comfortable space for your visit.

The space
Being a One Bedroom Listing with an option of the second bedroom at an additional rate of $30.
Being the case of another family member or just preference of additional space, this 2nd bedroom is perfectly suitable. The house however is not childproof and there are no pets.
The bathroom is private to the reservation either way as the 2nd bedroom is not listed seperately.

🌞 Living Room – Flooded with natural light from 8 windows (yes, 8!). Sheer curtains let the sunshine in, while panels close easily for privacy. (Note: not blackout—your alien eyes may still detect Earth’s rotation.)

🍽 Dining Room – Features vinyl floors and a large oval table with 4 retro chairs, perfect for intergalactic meals or Earthly takeout.

🛸 1st Bedroom – Queen bed, hangers in the closet, side tables, and blackout curtains—so you can sleep like you’re in deep space. Charging station included to power up all your devices (and maybe your translator).

🪐 2nd Bedroom – Twin bed plus a full-size crib for your smallest crew member. Closet, wall-mounted nightstand, blackout curtains, and a charging station included.

🧼 Bathroom – No tub here, but the custom-tiled shower (crafted by my star-husband) has built-in shelves stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. No need to pack Earth supplies.

🍳 Kitchen – Spacious with plenty of counter space for meal prep. Gas stove, built-in microwave, fridge, toaster, electric can opener, and coffeepot. We provide coffee (multiple kinds), sugar, sweetener & creamer to fuel your journey.

🛸 Security Systems Online – Ring doorbell camera at the front and Ring motion light with video at the back for your safety and peace of mind.

🚗 Parking – Room for 2 spacecraft (okay… cars) in the driveway.

🐾 Pets Welcome – Up to 2 dogs allowed with an $18/pet fee. Cats considered with approval. Pets must be added to the guest count so we can beam in the right supplies. 🐕🐈
