This apartment is a stand-alone unit, no shared walls or neighbors above or below, and is a quiet, comfortable space in the heart of Davenport. Guests must be able to climb up and down 1 1/2 flights of stairs for access.
The space is exclusively yours during your stay, no sharing closet or bathroom space with the host's personal belongings. It's a fully furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment that was originally built as a caretaker's cottage, and is located behind my home, above my garage. Ideally the space is perfect for three people but it can accommodate up to 4 people with a provided twin roll away bed, and a twin self inflating air mattress.

Newly renovated 2 bed/2 bath with the amazing amenities in downtown Davenport. This unit is nestled up to the Mississippi River on the east side of downtown, with amazing in-unit views & even better views from the rooftop patio the 3rd floor.
This historic building has been repurposed into amazing apartment lofts featuring granite countertops, sealed concrete flooring, subway tile surrounds and exposed brick walls. The river views and modern industrial vibe make for a totally unique experience.
Our check-in and check-out process is automatic and seamless. Once booked, guests receive a private keycode that will provide keyless access to the apartment, and will enter the complex via a secured door.
Guests will have access to their unit, as well as the rooftop patio over looking the Mississippi River.
Periodically, a train will pass through downtown, so we provide ear plugs and sound machines in case they're too noisy.
Absolutely no smoking inside the unit. If there's evidence of smoking, guests will be charged a $250 fee.

This home truly is one of a kind that brings history and modernism together. A wrap around deck, barbecue area and plenty of living space to enjoy that boasts views of the Mississippi River from every room. There is something here for everyone!
- "From the moment we arrived, we were delighted with every aspect of this beautiful home. There is SO much room, and only 3 of us, but we found a way to enjoy every single room, as well as the two outdoor areas. Kara's communication prior to the visit was outstanding, and we felt extremely welcomed by the state of the home when we walked in. It was perfectly convenient to everything we were doing in the Quad Cities, and we only wished we could have stayed longer to keep enjoying such a beautiful property. Thank you for helping to make our girls' weekend so perfect!"

Built in 1916, this 2-bedroom Carriage House is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. Nestled in Iowa's Vander Veer Park Historic District, it is conveniently located just one block from the park, Davenport's Outing Club, St Ambrose University and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The upstairs residence which sits above the former stable & garage, is part of the E.B. Adler Estate, which also features a 4-bedroom home on the other side of the spacious yard and gardens. Lovingly restored by its new owners, this unique space is walking distance from a grocery store, pharmacy and several of the area's best coffee shops.
- "This is a beautifully redone carriage house that is really fun to stay in. The neighborhood can be a little sketchy at night, but is fine during the day. I highly recommend it!" - "We were very happy with this well-appointed carriage house. Our host was friendly, thoughtful and informative and made us feel very welcome. This property is only a block away from the unique Vandevere Park, with it's tropical conservatory and beautiful rose garden, and we felt safe and comfortable walking in this interesting historic homes area. We parked in the driveway, and the house's great location made exporing other parts of the city easy. We brought bikes along and it was only 4 blocks to a major bike trail. Trails along the Mississippi are also nearby. The carriage house was spotlessly clean with a fun equestrian decor and lots of considerate touches. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet at night. The kitchen had everything we needed. Be aware that there is a flight of steps up to the secnd story front door of the carriage house. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Davenport."

Newly renovated, spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath located on East 2nd St in Davenport, Iowa. Amazing in-unit views and even better views from the rooftop patio located on the 3rd floor (no elevator access to the patio).
This historic building has been repurposed into amazing apartment lofts featuring granite countertops, sealed concrete flooring, subway tile surrounds and exposed brick walls. The river views and modern industrial vibe make for a totally unique experience.
Our check-in and check-out process is automatic and seamless. Once booked, guests receive a private keycode that will provide keyless access to the apartment, and will enter the complex via a secured door.
Guests will have access to their unit, as well as the rooftop patio over looking the Mississippi River.
Periodically, a train will pass through downtown, so we provide ear plugs and sound machines in case they're too noisy.
Absolutely no smoking inside the unit. If there's evidence of smoking, guests will be charged a $250 fee.
Absolutely NO PARTIES. We cannot stress enough that. The safety and comfort of you, our neighbors and other guests is our number priority. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
We ask that you do not take home any of the essential amenities provided to you throughout your stay (towels, games, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.). Thanks for your consideration!
- "Great place" - "The Condo is great! Unit 3 has two twin beds in first room, a queen bed in the second room, and a pullout bed in couch. I would recommend the pizza place two blocks away. The only thing that would make it better is a light above the parking lot." - "My wife an I stayed here for one night while attending a concert across the river at Vibrant Arena. Immaculate property with modern loft feeling. While we were actually in the unit for less than 12 hours total, we did enjoy our stay. However, I would be hesitant not to mention 3 items that should be clarified further in the listing: 1) Parking instructions weren't given until day before the booking. Turns out there are only 5 stalls adjacent to the building and they are first come, first served. Otherwise you are instructed to park a block down in a lot that has signs saying "Restricted Parking". Followed the instructions we were provided and just hoped we wouldn't get ticketed or towed. Luckily, neither happened. 2) Neither of the bedrooms in the unit we stayed in had windows in them. Just windows in the main living area. As an architect, not sure how this meets code requirements, but maybe space was grandfathered for being a reuse of an old building. 3) While not the direct responsibility of the host, there is a Meadery / Bar below the lofts. The night we stayed there was an extremely loud live band playing until 12:15 in the morning and made it impossible to fall asleep. Again, not the hosts fault, but should be mentioned in the listing that this may occur occasionally due to the location. In the end, we would stay here again upon our next visit, and thank the host for the stay. I just hope he finds a way to correctly update the listing accordingly."

- "I cannot talk highly or recommend enough the stay we had at the townhouse we were there for 31 nights and enjoyed each and every day there, it was so comfortable and welcoming with a lovely feel about the place, the house the porch the garden were all amazing and Jack and Marion, I have not met two more lovely and accommodating people nothing was too much trouble they went above and beyond day in and day out for us and they were so lovely to chat to and get to know, we would not hesitate to go back again and again and wish them well and thanks so much for adding to our holiday and making it extra special"
