cleaning). If more than average cleaning is required; additional charges will
occur. Checkout list will be provided.
* Any theft or damage will be addressed accordingly with police. Guests will be
responsible to pay for damages to property or contents.
* Security cameras are in use 24/7 on the outside of the home and property. The
exterior of the house cameras face all entry points and entire property.
Absolutely no tampering with the security cameras, plug ins, or wi-fi
connections of any kind. Alerts are sent to management and will be addressed
immediately. If tampered with or disconnected, guests will be evicted off of
the premises without refund and additional charge of $500.00 will be charged
for tampering and deposit will be forfeited.
* Garage and basement are NOT INCLUDED in the rental. Access is not
permitted in either.
Both areas are alarmed. If any attempt is made to open doors, or locks,
Property Manager will be notified. If tampered with; guests will be evicted off

This floating cottage will be frozen in the marina. Although it does have electricity, it does not have running water. However, a porta potty inside the cottage, clean and flushable, hot and cold water dispenser for drinking and cooking, makes glamping nothing short of home. You will get keys to our state of the art bath houses which are located at the Harbor Store a very short walk away. The cottage has two sources of heat, electric baseboard and a pellet stove, both able to heat the entire cabin individually.

A great place for a hunting, fishing, and outdoor fun. We welcome you to bring your own snowmobiles and dress warm for those beautiful moments hiking, sitting by the campfire and coddiewompling to surrounding areas. Eagle Watching, horseback riding, sleigh riding, skiing, shopping, wineries, breweries, antiquing, and so much more are within an hour from the cottage. She may be a little tiny, but she is a big catch. Let's reel you in with this unique cozy houseboat that sits right on the water. The Minnow has a record player with vintage 1960's albums, games, and a retro feel.

The space
The cozy Minnow for two has a lot to offer. It has a twin size bed and in the living room a futon. You can cozy up on the small twin bed or have the option of the other sleeping on the futon. It can comfortably sleep 2 people. There is a bathroom with a sink and toilet, no shower. If you would like to take a shower we offer modern bath houses up at the Harbor Store. They are within walking distance and very nice.

The Minnow offers, microwave, hot plate, air fryer, grill, toaster oven, toaster, coffee pot and fridge/freezer. Towels, linens, blankets, pillows, plates, silverware, cups, etc. is all there for you. The wood stove is not to be used, but adds to the ambiance of this vintage boat.

You can fish right off the docks or bring your own boat for a complimentary slip. Beach and lake is within walking distance. We look forward to sharing everything the island has to offer.

Check in is at 3:00 p.m. If you are running past 5, no worries, just give us a holler and we will direct you to the Minnow on boatel Row. She is moored on " A Dock" right off the walking ramp to the left. Please always park on the left side of the road near the tree line when staying with us. We suggest you bring water shoes in case you go in the lake. You can rent kayaks from Island city Harbor, which is walking distance from Layla’s at the lake.

Bring bicycles if you like to ride. The town is quiet and there isn’t a lot of busy traffic. It’s a perfect town for bike riding. No trails or bike lanes so be careful. It’s a small town.

Like all lakes, our lake lake has foreign objects in it like glass metal rocks, so please be careful..

It has come to our attention the washer and dryer are only able to handle small loads. Please be aware of this. There is a laundry mat in Savanna, which is about 15 minutes away. We apologize for this inconvenience. Here is the address for the laundry mat:

Beautiful historic 1890s large Victorian home with great Mississippi River access, close to parks, downtown Clinton, and dining. You’ll love the original hardwood floors, fully appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. Our house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), or groups. There is a $160 cleaning fee applied to each stay.

The space
The house has a full functioning kitchen with stove, microwave, and coffeemaker. All dishes are provided. We have a small supply of coffee filters, sugar & sweetener, paper towels, napkins, and dish soap to get you started. There is a high chair in the dining room if you are traveling with a small child.
There is also a washer and dryer for your use with a small supply of laundry detergent.
We have cable TV and Wi-Fi available in the main parts of the house, as well as in the bedrooms.
We have a good selection of board games for your use.
We have a small room upstairs that has a PS4 gaming system. We have a small selection of PS4 and Nintendo DS games available.
The three bedrooms are on the second floor and there is a full bathroom on the second floor as well as a second full bathroom on the first floor. There is a charcoal grill off the deck. If you arrive late and need to get supplies, there is a Hy-Vee grocery store located about 3 blocks away.

* PARKING: You can park on the street in front of the house, or in the driveway. It is a shared drive with our neighbors, so please be considerate and don’t block the front sidewalk. Also please do not park near the garage in back. That parking space is reserved for our tenants that live in the apartment above the garage. Please make sure that you remove any valuables and lock your vehicle.
* We love our pets as much as you love yours, however we have to be considerate of future guests with allergy issues, so we must adhere to a No Pet Policy.
*Absolutely NO SMOKING or E-CIGARETTES in the house please. An extra cleaning fee will be applied to your total for ANY violation of our smoking policy.
* No third party reservations. The person who makes the reservation must stay at the house the entire time.

The beautiful views of the hillside and marina is sure to bring you a relaxing getaway. There are free kayak rentals included, a beach within walking distance, and plenty of fish to be caught. It has accommodations for 4 people comfortably. Kitchen Galley, living area, dining room, queen size bed and 2 single beds.

The space
This is a boatel and has a private room with Queen size bed that sits higher and is most comfortable. There is a step stool if need. Also, downstairs it has 2 single beds especially perfect for the kids. The lower beds are in a crawl like space and perfect for anyone wanting the full experience of staying on a houseboat. You will need to wind down the stairs and duck into the little nook to enjoy a restful sleep on the water. Kids love this area. One bathroom with shower, but we offer a full state of art bath house for your convenience. The kitchen has a stove and oven original to the boat, but its not in working order. However, we do have everything you will need: microwave, toaster, electric skillet, and hot plate. Full fridge/freezer and grill are there for your needs.

The "Lily Pad" is located on "A" Dock, which is the first dock in our marina. She sits on the water. The best way to get to her is to drive down the road and park on left side by ramp. When entering the boat, there is a staircase and narrow step into sliding door...from there is complete paradise.

This brick Queen Anne Victorian, was built by businessman and banker J.E. Squires and his wife Harriet, a notable architectural presence in Maquoketa's West Pleasant Historic District.

The first floor features a new kitchen with commercial appliances and high-end finishes, fully appointed for preparing and serving any meal. The kitchen pantry includes a coffee bar with both a drip machine and Keurig. A selection of coffee and teas is provided for the Keurig and a stove top tea kettle. Just off of the kitchen features a beverage center to store wine and beer, as well as prepare cocktails. A full selection of glass drinkware is available.

The beautiful and spacious dining room seats 12. The room features 18th c. French chandeliers and is surrounded by original wood paneling, a fireplace and built-in buffet.
