HOUSE RULES: We do have a Ring doorbell, which utilizes video monitoring to track excessive activity at the house. In addition, we have the following rules in place:

-Bookings without reviews will have to provide an ID via the VRBO messaging system.
-NO gatherings or parties allowed. Zero tolerance for parties. You will immediately forfeit your stay without refund. Police will be called, and parties will be broken up. In addition, there’s a $400 fine if a party takes place.
-NO smoking of any kind is allowed. $200 fine plus cleaning fees if the smell of smoke is found.
-NO pets allowed. $200 fine plus cleaning fees for having pet(s) on the premises. If you do have a pet, please let us know so we can work something out.
-NO unregistered guests past the guest limit are allowed, unless we have specifically ok'd it prior. $200 fine for additional guests without prior notification. Please be HONEST about how many guests are staying.
-Quiet time is after 10PM. Please no loud noises after this time. $200 fine for being disruptive to any neighbors.
-We do understand things break or get damaged, so if something does break or get damaged, please just let us know right away and then we can quickly get any issues resolved.

House is along the busy North Avenue but Mark has provided eye masks, ear plugs and noise machines in each bedroom, we didn't need any of them to help us sleep as the beds were so comfortable. The basement was a great entertainment area and we loved all the board games, arcade games and gym equipment. It was also great to have a second TV so the boys could watch their own movies. Coming from rural Ireland it was wonderful to be able to walk to Elmhurst City Centre and enjoy a morning Starbucks or a movie in the evening in the fully restored historic movie theatre. The house is just a mile away from Walgreens and Jewel-Osco grocery store where you can get anything from sunscreen to a whole cooked chicken. It is only a 20 mile trip into Chicago City Centre and the wonderful Millennium Park. Parking is available under ground close to all the wonderful attractions. The neighborhood is very safe and clean and we had no worries letting our teenagers walk around it on their own. If you are travelling to Chicago you will struggle to find a nicer house in a better location."
