The living room flows into the kithchen through a big case opening. Master suite has nice size bathroom connected with a shower and jacuzzi soaker tub. Front porch is screened-in and very spacious. Our barndo is newly renovated from floor to ceiling with about 3,300 sqare foot of living area. It has a very spacious gathering area on the lower level that is a kitchen/dining/living room all in one. The loft studio is also very spacious with a full living quarters. Each room has it's own temperature control for individual comfort. It has a breathtaking view that overlooks a valley and pond. It is surrounded by the great outdoors and a few cows and other wild animals that you will see on occasion.

- "Great Host and amazing location. All around awesome experience and would definitely consider booking again in the future!" - "Our flock of 20 guests found this barndo to be an absolute haven! The home was as clean as a freshly mucked stall, beautifully decorated, and stocked to the rafters with towels and plates. With plenty of roosting spots, it offered the perfect balance—tons of space to gather as a herd and plenty of rooms to graze in private when needed. The independent temperature control in every room was a breath of fresh country air, and the soundproofing was so good, not a peep carried across the house. The loft was a great hideaway for the little ones.Outside, we had an absolute barnstormer of a time—grilling, gathering ‘round the fire pit, and playing games with the whole crew. There were only two smaller sofas in the main living space, which made corralling all the guests a bit tricky for evening lounging. Still, we managed, thanks to a cozy rug that made the space feel warm as a hayloft.The lack of a dishwasher was the biggest hitch in our wagon ride. For a home stocked to the gills with dishes and built for large groups, wrangling the dirty dishes over multiple days felt like shoveling hay nonstop. While the host graciously allowed guests to leave dirty dishes for cleanup, the sheer volume became a tough row to hoe by the end of the long weekend.Speaking of the host—quick as a farmhand, they were responsive to our couple of minor questions and needs. All in all, our stay was as easy as rolling in the hay—an udder delight! We’d hoof it back in a heartbeat."

- "The home was comfortable and provided a great vacation hub for the 4-5 days we stayed in KC area. Centrally located to historical areas like Liberty, Independence, and Far West. The only thing we wish the property had was laundry facilities. For a short stay not a problem, but for longer it was unfortunate we had to go sit at a laundry mat for several hours on our vacation...never seen a house without laundry. Guess we shouldn't have assumed. We had two adults and four children; utilizing the blow up mattress. That worked but did make the living room pretty tight once the bed was blown up. Not a complaint, just wanted to provide that information for anyone who wants to know. It worked out just fine for us. Kitchen is very nice and well stocked with all the tools you would need. We grilled one night and cooked the others. Walmart just a few minutes away as well as several restaurants. Bathroom is cozy, but still nice. Communication was great. They sent us a text to welcome us and provide pass code for door. Also followed up during the week and after our departure. Super easy to work with in our case."

Our small home is off the beaten path and offers the best of both worlds. A safe country getaway on a quiet, secluded dead end road with only you and the landlord (us) that lives a block away. The interior has been completely renovated throughout and is furnished with top-of-the-line seating for the living room, a 42" flat screen TV with Roku for all your streaming needs. Home solely uses Fiberoptics Wifi with incredible speeds. Also, a table for two, that can be converted into a workstation. The bedroom is loaded with storage, a full closet, headboard cubbies and under the bed drawers. The bed has a queen size "Ultimate Purple Mattress". All the windows in the house are equipped with cordless Roman shades. The house sits on the owner's 5 acres bordered by a creek which provides a nature sanctuary to many species of birds, deer, fox, coyotes and etc. There is a storage building with a grill inside for the tenants use. The building can also be used for bicycle. golf club storage or whatever else you want protected with your own lock. After a hard day's work, come home and relax on the deck watching the sunset or sitting by the firepit watching the stars while listening to the crackle of the wood supplied by the landlord.
Located only 2 1/2 miles away, is the Historic downtown of Excelsior Springs; known back in the day for its healing waters. Downtown offers unique shops, restaurants, breweries and wine tasting rooms from the surrounding vineyards.
The house is minutes away from the main hospitals, Colleges, stadiums, state parks and amusement parks.
