Beautiful 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin just feet from Indian Creek. Private creek access in a great location. Conveniently located just 1/2 mile from I49. So a commute to Northwest Arkansas is convienent and quick.

- "We had such a relaxing weekend at the Cabin. We spent the daytime by the creek fishing swimming and kayaking and we wrapped up the night by making smores around a campfire. This was the perfect little place for the three of us! It was in a nice location, beautiful views, quiet neighborhood, had everything we needed, and was reasonably priced. There was some sort of hand or food smears on the microwave and refrigerator, the floor needed to be swept, the bathroom counter could use a wipe down, and there were used tissues in the bedroom waste can. Now, that being said, I'm perfectly capable of using the broom (which I did...a couple of times), and it took me ten seconds to wipe down the microwave and front of the refrigerator after I did the dishes, and maybe five seconds to wipe the bathroom counter. Definitely not a deal breaker, but when we first walked in it was very noticeable. I very much appreciated being able to toss our river stinky things into the washer and dryer after our float rather than having to tote them home with us. And I'm a big fan of the little grocery store just up the hill. Very convenient! All in all, we would stay there again!"

The Grand House is located toward the south part of town in a very peaceful area! The house is 5 minutes from hospitals and schools. It is walking distance from restaurants, parks and trails! Our home was originally built in 1905 by the somewhat notorious cigar manufacturer Leon S. Boucher. The Flor De Leon was a popular brand of cigars that L.S. Boucher manufactured and sold here in downtown Joplin.

My wife and I have lovingly renovated our home over the past year by combining its original historic charm with our own modern/eclectic style. We are particularly proud of the kitchen, bathrooms, and sunroom!

The first floor consists of a kitchen, dining room, living room, powder room, and sunroom. A laundry room is also available for use in the basement

The second floor is the main sleeping area which consists of four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms on this floor have desk space.

The third floor is the master suite. A great place to unwind after a long day of traveling! We especially love the skylight above the bathtub!

What started as a pool house and functional space for the overnight guests of Clay has become the small business venture of business partners Clay and Lisa. Klaver Cottage is a studio-style space for travelers to rent located just outside of Joplin, Missouri.

While Clay enjoys utilizing this space for travelers who are coming to the area for various reasons, Klaver Cottage is unavailable to rent for parties or miscellaneous reasons for locals to gather. He appreciates your understanding.

At Klaver Cottage you will find a king size bed and convertible sofa in a studio space conntected to the fully equipped kitchenette and bar area with a large flat screen TV. The spacious bathroom includes a 48” shower. During the summer months guests have access to the pool and outside space.

This 1880's executive loft has been completely renovated and is located steps off of Historic Route 66 and the beautiful Carthage square. It boasts 2 great rooms, a bedroom, gourmet kitchen, luxurious master bathroom and a half bath.

Our bathroom has a tub/shower combo, vanity with undersink storage + a washer and dryer with tons of storage shelving. You need to pull a lever to change the water flow from the tub to the shower. The kitchen has all the essentials, if you prefer to cook. We also offer Wifi and a Roku TV.

This is a perfect location for anyone needing a furnished, comfortable, clean short or long term lodging. If you're local or visiting, it's also the perfect "Get Away" for couple friends, or couples weekend.

And then there is the question of privacy, which even though there were blinds, that doesn't offer enough privacy at night (people can peek through those!) And second, something that can't really be fixed, is that the place is on a busy road and was kind of noisy at times. Maybe a fence along the road? I dunno, the road was just very noisy! Immaculate home on one of Joplin's most beautiful landmark streets, well kept homes in every direction of this brand newly renovated home! Style & comfort were top of mind. USB/plugins by every bed, dimmable & remote controlled fans in each bedroom add to your convenience. High end sheets & cooling mattress pads for a great nights sleep. The fireplace can crackle & burn with or without heat, so you can feel cozy even when it's hot out. The kitchen is perfection & well stocked with all you need.
The space
We want our guests to have a relaxed experience, so don't worry about us springing a big cleaning list on you like some other airbnbs. We want you to be able to enjoy the extra space & amenities like a full kitchen and laundry that you won't get at a hotel, but without feeling like you have to work while you're enjoying our space.

The location is right in the middle of town. I actually live on this street as well & can't imagine living anywhere else, because it is so convenient & close to anything you might need in regards to shopping and eating.

Our kitchen is stocked with most everything you'd ever need, down to baking essentials & even oil & spices.

The bedrooms have comfortable mattresses & soft linens, nothing scratchy or cheap. I chose nothing that I wouldn't want in my own home. Each bedroom has a convenient place to charge your phones right next to each bed & if you need a fan to sleep, each bedroom also has a fan that has a remote control.

The living room is so bright & cozy with the fireplace. We have an Alexa so you can feel free to use it to play music or ask about the weather!

The bathrooms are great & the showers are both powerful & have awesome water pressure. We wanted to have a tub as well for our little travelers. We are very particular about cleanliness & the bathrooms will feel like you're the first people to ever use them. The main bathroom light is actually blue tooth enabled, so if you want to connect & jam out while you're in the shower feel free to do so.

The laundry room is convenient right off the kitchen, we provide laundry detergent as well.

There is a covered back porch that is a great place to chill & enjoy a coffee/drink or take a private call.

I've stayed at several rentals over the years, and nothing has been near as good as this property. The decor was beautiful, the rooms were large, the kitchen was full of any items we could need, the dining area was comfortable, and the living room provided a great opportunity to watch some movies (several streaming apps available on the TV) with the kids in front of the fire (which was safe and cool to the touch - perfect for when the kids were awake - after they went to bed we were able to turn on the heating function as well). Our kids were able to run around in the large backyard, and we were pleasantly surprised to find cabinets filled with games and puzzles for all ages. When I reached out to the owner just before we arrived, she responded in seconds. The location was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. I really cannot say enough good things about our experience - simply perfect!"

One long term male guest already there. Friendly, very quiet. Very rarely (a couple days 2-3 times a year) someone is visiting town will stay in the third bedroom but during that time the bath would be shared. The home is very dated, but functional and a nice setting. About 1 mile from MercyHospital, not far off I 44 exit.
Cleaner comes for common areas twice a month but both tenants must clean up after themselves and clean their own rooms during their stay.

Adorable studio apartment above our 2-car detached garage. We are located in the scenic Roanoke neighborhood, one of the safest neighborhoods in Joplin. The property is a renovated 2nd floor studio with queen bed, kitchenette, and bathroom. There is also a spare air mattress provided for your convenience. While we do not have traditional cable, you are also welcome to access our personal Netflix or Hulu streaming accounts.

The space
This is a 1950’s garage apartment - complete with arched doorways.

You enter the upstairs apartment (NOTE: must climb about 8 steep- ish stairs to get inside) to find a darling living room, which has a smart tv, couch and comfy chair. The living room leads into the one bedroom with queen bed.

The bathroom is well-stocked with linens, an array of quality soaps, shampoos, and conditioner. Everything you need to take a relaxing bath or shower.

The kitchen has what you will need to eat and cook a meal or just warm something in the microwave. In addition to the stove, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer, we have a coffee pot that you can use to brew fresh coffee and a toaster. We keep some basic kitchen supplies for your use too, such as olive oil, salt, pepper, and a fresh jug of cold water. All kitchen utensils and supplies are provided for you.

The unit has great parking. We ask that guests park on the right side of the "parking lot" to the unit. There is easily enough room for two vehicles to pull in, and also street parking is available too.

The neighborhood is near I-44, the hospitals (just a couple of minutes), several restaurants (Moe's, Schlotzsky's, Tropical Smoothie), two pharmacies (Walgreens & CVS), Mercy Park, the tornado memorial, and much more.

This space is ideal for 1-2 adults. There is room for an additional child but it may get cramped. It’s a great space but small. This apartment would be ideal for a longer term stay.

Blackout shades at all windows for day sleepers. Many little extras are provided. Linens are washed and sanitized after each guest.

**Recent remodel!** This piece of Joplin history is a great place to stay if you're coming in for an event or work. This home features a luxury queen mattress, a futon couch, a fully equipped kitchen, & cozy outdoor seating--not to mention its a short walk to Ewert Park's pool, playground & trails!
Just a few blocks from Joplin's downtown night life, dining & entertainment options are a short drive away or DoorDash and UberEats are available for that quiet night in.

The space
This is a great place to stay if you're coming in for an event or work. It's on a private street away from the main strip, so traffic is minimal. It is best for up to 2 adults and 2 kids as the couch lays down to about a full size bed in addition to the Puffy brand mattress in the bedroom. It is a minimal space but has nice furnishings, expensive toilet paper, stays as hot or cold as you want, and everything else you might need. If you need something specific, let me know and I'll do my best to make it happen.

**We recently experienced damage to the grass between the driveway and the front porch. We are in the process of having the front yard re-leveled and seeded and the driveway re-graveled. The walkway from the driveway to the porch may be muddy and not safe for rolling suitcases. We will update the listing once it has been completed.

You are welcome to the whole house and yard. The parking lot to the south is not our property. Please park in the gravel driveway on the north side of the house or off the street.

The Milk House, unique in every way, for those who love a peaceful weekend or longer term lodging.

Formerly dairy operation, I kept the steel doors that admitted cows for milking, much as it was, w/ the addition of a living rm w/daybed sleeping two, bathrm, kitchen, sunroom w/another daybed sleeping two- charmingly rustic, w/original concrete floors, comfortable and quaint...

The ambiance, the lovely breezes, the beauty & peace of country life make the Milk House truly special.

The space
The main room of the Milk House, was formerly used to keep the frothy milk (held in five gallon cans) for pick-up, and has been transformed into a comfortable studio - a daybed with trundle underneath, two vintage armchairs, a shelf with books and games, an antique table for work, games, or meals; a mighty wood stove to take the chill off blustery days, and air-conditioning to deal with southern Missouri humidity.

The galley kitchen is fully equipped for cooking simple meals - two burner hotplate (no stove), counter-top oven, crock-pot, microwave, pots and pans, toaster, small refrigerator.

The tiny bathroom has all the essentials (small shower (30" x 30", no tub.).

There is also a comfortable daybed with trundle underneath, that sleeps two located in the sunroom/office which adjoins the Milk House and is separated from the main area by a small steel door and four original large steel "cow" doors. (Airbeds can also be set up in the office to accommodate two additional guests.)

The base price is for two people in only the original MH. The base price does not include the sunroom/office, but if you also want to use that room, there is an additional fee of $20/person/night. (Non-walking infants are free.)

( I do not use the office when guests are there.)

PLEASE NOTE: I cannot accommodate any animals inside the house. This 60 acre property was originally a dairy with a farmhouse (Stirling which sleeps 16,) and the apartment below (Thirties which sleeps 4,) so there may be other guests on the property, or you may want to have a larger group here. The total number of guests I can accommodate with all three lodgings is 26.

Because we are a working farm, you may see the cattle or mowing guys or someone in my family tending the animals & the land, etc, but unless you need something, we will not be in your space. My son usually makes a security round each night, checking the chicken coop door and the creek area.

Keep in mind - this is a tiny, very rustic house (800 sq ft - for both the MH & the Office)- an adventure in bygone days when life was physically hard, but simple; and country life was desirable.

The space
We created this space in 2019 when our youngest was born since we no longer had space in our home to host. We rent it on Airbnb when our parents aren't in town visiting. We love offering a quiet, restful place to relax on an overnight stay or to put down roots for longer term guests who stay in the area for a while. For being a small space, it doesn't feel cramped due to the high sloped ceiling and lots of natural light from high windows. We designed it to have plenty of room for lounging, eating and working, and a large bathroom, including a 4 foot shower. Guests love the sheets, luxury towels, pillow options and versatility of the space. If you have stayed with us before, we have upgraded the wifi twice, added a recliner and you will love having a bigger TV. A brand new bed and plush mattress arrived in January 2024.

We are animal lovers, but guests are NOT allowed to bring animals of any kind onto the property as we have family members with severe allergies that stay in that space when visiting.

If you are visiting during tornado season (Spring into early Summer), we installed a tornado shelter in September 2024, with room for our guests! We will make sure you know how to access it if needed.

There is a mini split for heating and air conditioning. The remote is white and will be in the living room. The tv is a smart tv which can be accessed by an app on your phone. There are space heaters in the closet if you’d like an extra warm sleeping space. You can park out back in the drive however, most like to park on the street out in front of the home since it’s the closest.

Annabelle's Place is located in SE Joplin with easy access to highways, hospitals, MSSU and Range Line Road shopping and restaurants. Comfortable 1250 sq. ft. 2 bedroom - 1.5 bath duplex with a pond view. We have lived in this neighborhood for 20+ years. We live on one side of the duplex and the other side is available for your use. The neighborhood is quiet and safe on cul-da-sac. With living next door we are just a call away in case you would need anything.

Newly painted interior with new carpet and flooring and furniture. There are charging stations in the bedrooms for your devices. T-mobile WiFi. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. The front bedroom has two closets and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom has a large closet and drawer space. Full kitchen is equipped with dinnerware, cookware, utensils and spices. There are multiple small kitchen appliances available for your use. There is a drip coffee maker as well as, a Keurig type. Free use of laundry area.

1. No Pool Access: Please note that there is no access to a pool on the property.

2. No Smoking, Vaping, and drugs in the cottage or on property.

3. Hunting Prohibited: Hunting is strictly prohibited on the property.

4. Fishing: Recommended to wear life jackets and underaged children must be accompanied by an adult. The main part of shoal creek will be regulated via Missouri Conservation fishing permits.

5. Walking Trails
Closed during Hunting Season for Safety: September 5--January 16, 2025.
Please walk thru the gate at the bottom of the hill, between the two cattle pastures. You can reference the orange cones on the post. Next, make sure to lock all gates behind you. If the gate is opened when you arrive, then you can leave it open. The walking trails are direct down the lane and you will notice the mowed paths.
