The I-70 Sports lodge is a 3 acre country property with scenic sunsets and a variety of wildlife to view. The lodge is great for multiple families to enjoy while visiting or traveling through Salina, Kansas. All rooms are mainfloor with full kitchen. Each bedroom consists of 2 double beds. The lodge also has a 40 x 30 gathering area that is great for reunions or corporate meetings. Animals (big or small) are welcome and the property is contained with a barbwire fence. A full RV hookup (water sewer and 50 amp electric) is also available for an additional fee. This property is great for travelers on Interstate 70 as it is only one mile from the ramps.

This home is located in the heart of Abilene, just a couple blocks from the city park that features the Eisenhower Rose Garden, the city pool, and the county fairgrounds where the Central Kansas Free Fair is held.

The main bedroom features a queen size bed with brand new mattress. Two other bedrooms are available for use, one featuring a full bed, and the other room has a twin bed along with a built-in hammock chair. This home is child friendly!

The back yard is large and equipped with toys, sporting goods, and games. (Storage sheds are off limits to guests.)

The living room has a comfortable seating area and Smart TV. Free Wi-Fi! Netflix, Hulu, Disney and more for guests!

No pets please, for the health & safety of our livestock.

The space
We have a walking path mowed around the property. It goes from the arch by the tree field, along the south tree line, around the pond and back around to the house. You do have to walk on the paved road for a very short distance.

Be sure to list all people that will be staying, including children. If you are visiting family or friends and want them to come here, we need to have prior notification. We love to share our space, but please understand we need to know who is on our property. Please do not enter the shop, house, barn or tree lodge unless Steve or Chris are with you. This home has wonderful antique wood furniture throughout but all mattresses and couches are new!

There are two individual bedrooms each with a queen bed. The sleeper sofa also has a queen size mattress.
The home has a galley style kitchen, with fridge and oven. Kitchen is stocked with pans and full array of utensils. The small dining area and a full bathroom round out the home.

The entire 500 sq. ft. cabin is for you to enjoy, plus the furnished screened-in back porch, the deck with outdoor table, and a dock with adirondack chairs. There is a porch out front, as well as convenient parking, just a few steps from the front door. You can enjoy a walk around the lake and wander up through the wooded trails that are at the north end of the lake. Don't be surprised if you hear the bullfrogs in the evening, while you're sitting on the back porch! Bring your fishing poles and bait—you can fish off our dock or the dam. The fishing is mainly catch and release---except Catfish: Limit of 3, with only 1 over 15 inches. You can also swim at the small beach over by the clubhouse. Life jackets are at the cabin for you to use.

As required by our insurance, the person renting must be at least 25 years old and staying on the property. (No third party bookings.) No loud parties or events allowed at the cabin. No underage drinking or illegal drugs allowed on the property. No pets allowed. No smoking or vaping allowed inside cabin. Smoking/vaping allowed outside on porch, deck, lower dock, or front porch. Please clean up cigarette butts!
Security Deposit listed is never charged to your card... unless needed after the visit to cover damages to property. Please drive slowly around the lake.

The space
This home boasts three first-floor bedrooms, all conveniently located near the full bathroom. A full kitchen with all modern appliances and an adorable coffee bar towards the back of the house will ensure you are able to take care of all your culinary needs!

Enjoy streaming services and Wifi on the smart TV in the living room while lounging on the comfortable seating options.

Each bedroom features comfortable bedding and linens, ceiling fans, AC or heat, and blackout shades to help our guests have a comfortable night of sleep.

The fenced in side yard is the perfect place to relax, and the back patio setting and grill make for the ideal backdrop on any BBQ.

Parking is available in the private small lot behind the house and can fit up to four cars. There is an additional parking spot on the side of the house (on 8th street) in front of the garage.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the first floor of the house. The upstairs loft is currently under construction with exciting new renovations coming fall 2025. The garage is not available for parking.

This unique place has a style all its own. While you’re visiting Abilene’s historic attractions, stay in this newly built one-bedroom Shouse with a queen bed, one bathroom with washer/dryer, plus full kitchen. There is a storm shelter off the kitchen. You’re just a few steps from Abilene’s professional live Great Plains Theatre, and a few blocks from the Eisenhower Center, Old Abilene Town and Historical Museum. Remember, “back door guests are the best” as you enter from the north patio.

The space
One queen bedroom including living area with reclining loveseat and 55” TV, full bath with walk-in shower and washer/dryer for personal laundry, fully stocked kitchen/dining area, a walk-in interior storm shelter, and a covered patio with outdoor dining table and BBQ grill.

The Shouse has 750 square feet of living quarters.

Lakeside Haven is a lake front cabin located on a small residential lake. Enjoy fresh air, the sounds of nature and great lake views, while relaxing on the spacious deck, patio, or lower dock. Lakeside Haven is an ideal location for a family getaway or personal retreat. The wood burning fireplace makes Lakeside Haven a cozy year around sanctuary.

The space
This cabin is located on a spacious lot next to the dam. This is a private residential lake and some of the residents live here year around. Enjoy your meals on the large patio table, or your morning coffee on the dock.
Multiple seating areas and a fire pit are provided for your use. You are welcome to use the kayak and life vests as well. Feel free to use the gas grill but adequate propane cannot be guaranteed.

Guest access
The entire cabin, deck, patio, and dock are for you to enjoy. You are welcome to enjoy a walk around the lake and to wander through the wooded trails that are on the north end of the lake. This community has a swimming beach, a playground, and multiple outdoor activities available for residents and guests. Fishing is allowed off the dock or dam, catch and release .

(No third party bookings) The cabins are are located fairly close together and sound travels across the water so no loud music, parties, or events are allowed at the cabin.
