Beautiful and newly built townhouse that sleeps up to 14 people. Perfect for ball teams, family reunions, bridal parties, and much more. Perfect sunset views from the back side of the house while you hangout in the big back yard. 2 queen bedrooms upstairs with bath. Main floor kitchen living room. Downstairs living room with cabin feel plus bathroom and laundry room. Basement is now a theater room. 3 50" smart tvs.. 1 car garage with a big pad for more parking. Pellet grill and a fire pit.

I do live here as well but gone on the weekends a lot during the summer. And will be gone when you do stay here as well.

Pet Policy: We do allow pets at this property. A maximum of 2 pets. Pets must be in a kennel or crate if the owner is not on property. There is an additional refundable security deposit of $500 for pets. This will be returned on final inspection by the cleaners of the house and the yard. If there is extra cleaning or waste pick up the deposit will not be returned.

Additionally there is a $250 per pet fee no matter the length of stay. This is due at time of booking.

All booking are approved on a case by case basis by the host.
Please start the dishwasher and wash all dishes before departing. Strip all sheets on the beds you use and put them on the bed from which they were removed. Please place all towels in the bathroom before leaving.

The bedrooms are all right in a row with the middle bedroom connecting the two outside rooms which makes this perfect for families who want to be close but also have living space. This is an older home, so it won’t be brand new. However, it’s very functional! Located near the center of Hastings, not only is this space a short drive from most places in town, but it's also only about a 35 minute drive from Grand Island!

This is an older duplex that we've been working hard to fix up. It shares a driveway with our other popular Airbnb that can be booked together. This is unit #2.

We haven't been able to clean up the yard just quite yet, and I’ll be honest our curb appeal is not where it needs to be. It’s freshly painted, but it needs some new siding pieces and landscape/driveway/yard. That shouldn’t affect your stay at all, but we want you to be aware when you pull up!

The space is unique; all three bedrooms are right in a row and the middle bedroom is the access to the other two bedrooms. There is not a door to the middle bedroom, and it's an open hallway from the kitchen.

- "From the pictures, the house appeared older but clean, which I was fine with. However, when I arrived, the experience was quite different. The first sign was when I used a washcloth and noticed makeup stains still on it.The final straw was when I took a shower and grabbed a towel, only to find it was dirty. My adult child staying with me also mentioned the sheets looked stained, and when I checked, I was honestly horrified. At that point, I contacted management.On top of that, the house has some serious maintenance issues: the paint is chipping off the cabinets from a poor paint job, the flooring is buckling, and the lighting throughout the home is extremely dim—even with all the lights on, it felt dark at night. The windows were broken. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the management was responsiveUnfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again unless there are significant improvements in both cleanliness and upkeep."

We list that 6 can stay because, as a large family, I know sometimes it’s frustrating to find a place. There is definitely not enough beds for six people, but if you want to use our air mattresses or our small couch for children that is great with us! Otherwise this is more ideal for 1-4 people.

This space is perfect for traveling professionals. The back unit is also listed which has two queen beds and a full bed. We also have another Airbnb house next door with four beds, so, if you would like to book all three, message us for availability/rates.

The new Comfy Cottage is centrally located. Downtown, the high school, Libs Park and Splash Pad, Hastings Museum, Fisher Fountain, the hospital and Hastings Lake are only two minutes or less away. Gas stations and restaurants are one minute away, and you can reach Walmart and the ball complex quickly. There are two king beds, one queen, one double, and a slim XL twin on the window seat, as well as a queen size air bed and couch. Make lasting memories in this family-friendly setting. This century-old cottage maintains much of its original charm-including a squeaky main floor. It has a well-stocked modern kitchen with a brand new dishwasher and dining service for ten. Fluffy towels, Dream Cloud beds with cotton duvets, nightstands with plug-ins for electronics, a sleepable window seat, deck, WIFI, tv's in all bedrooms, blinds, and white noise machines ensure a great stay. Relax in the big soaker bathtub in the master bath! Or have a fun foosball competition in the basement game room! An extension and extra table allow ten to dine. Games and toys for guests' use are provided. We've installed a tankless hot water heater so you won't run out of hot water! There is a picnic table (please understand it is outside and may need wiped down due to storms, etc.) and a furnished deck with a gas grill adjacent to the deck. A portable crib, infant bathtub and high chair are also available. There is off-street parking next to the house for four cars or two large pick-ups. The nearest other parking is 1/2 block away. No pets allowed. The entire house, front and back yards and patios, deck and parking are available for guest enjoyment. There is a smoking area with table and chairs on front patio. No smoking inside the house or on the deck. Remote entry is provided with access codes. The cleaning people and property manager handle any emergencies. I am available through Airbnb messaging if needed and am happy to make recommendations for activities, dining, and experiences during your stay. This area is within walking distance to Hastings Museum and the Lied Super Screen, as well as the high school and several eating establishments. It's central location provides easy access to many Hastings activities, but means that it is on a busy street. The large back yard is fenced and there are deadbolts for safety. The house is on 12th street and near Burlington Avenue. It is easy to get to anywhere in Hastings from this location within a few minutes. Off-street parking is provided on the property. There is no side street parking for half a block. It feels like home here-from the cozy front room and dining room, to the well-designed and comfortable bedrooms including two on the main floor and two upstairs. This house has so much personality and isn't like every other lodging option in town. A complete kitchen allows for baking, blending, air-frying, and making specialty coffees. There are a variety of pillows to suit your comfort level. The antique phone will delight children and adults alike as they crank the handle to ring the bell! A fenced backyard provides a safe place to play. There is a laundry room in the basement with a folding table, hanging rack, iron, ironing board, and work desk.

The Spacious Surprise is full of the unexpected. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, it offers a great location two blocks from the hospital, across the street from St. Cecilia, and within walking distance from all that downtown offers. It is on a quiet street with large green spaces. We allow up to two dogs with a pet fee to allow for extra cleaning expenses. Although a basement apartment, it has a private driveway and entrance, and plenty of room with large windows in the bedrooms.

The space
This property is an amazing value for many reasons. If offers a private entrance, comfortable sleeping for six (a king, queen, fold out futon and fold out floor sleeper), a fully stocked kitchen with all appliances, a washer and dryer, office and a room-sized walk-in closet that also functions as a sleeping space and play area. It is tastefully decorated, centrally located, clean and comfortable.

We have priced it reasonably to allow for it being a basement apartment. You must be able to walk down the stairs to enter the apartment. It has a private drive with some cracked concrete on part of the driveway (does not impair function at all). As mentioned elsewhere, this is a basement apartment. Though it has a private entrance and driveway, people may be staying above you. We ask the occupants of both units to be respectful of this. You may hear footsteps above occasionally, or other sounds that come with living adjacent to another living space. Honestly, we have another Airbnb that is on a busy road. The traffic noise at that location (which isn't terrible) is louder than the sounds you might hear above you. Fortunately, this is a REALLY quiet location. In the event it bothers you, white noise machines are provided in both bedrooms. This is not a party Airbnb. Also, there is not a bathtub.

Guest access
You have access to the private drive, yard outside the fence of the main unit, and the rest of the basement apartment. There is free parking on the premises and on the streets next to the house.

Other things to note
We welcome longer-term rentals. All that we ask is if your stay is over two weeks, you allow and pay for a cleaning of the Airbnb at two weeks and at every additional two-week interval.

Our space boasts a master bedroom with a queen size bed, a living area, an open kitchen with a bar with room for two to sit, and a second bedroom with a full size size bed that doubles as a laundry room.

We list that 6 can stay because, as a large family, I know sometimes it’s frustrating to find a place. There is definitely not enough beds for six people, but if you want to use our air mattresses or our small couch for children that is great with us! Otherwise this is more ideal for 1-4 people.

This space is perfect for traveling professionals. The back unit is also listed which has two queen beds and a full bed. We also have another Airbnb house next door with four beds, so, if you would like to book all three, message us for availability/rates.

This is an over 100-year-old large craftsman home with 4 bedrooms and a den. The den easily converts to a bedroom with clothing storage and a sleeper sofa with an added mattress topper to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.

Bedroom 3 is a bunk room with twin bunks and a queen bed. There are two bedrooms with king beds. One of the king bedrooms has a large walk-in closet and an attached small room (no window) which boasts a beanbag futon bed that will sleep two children comfortably. The 4th bedroom is accessed through the master bedroom and has a twin daybed with twin trundle.

The spacious eat-in kitchen is fully stocked and includes a coffee station. The formal dining room is the perfect place for family meals. There is a nice gas grill available for your use. In the warmer months you can enjoy time on the enclosed furnished front porch

This wonderful space is priced reasonably due to it being a new listing, being older (though in great shape with modern bathrooms and kitchen—see pics!), and having a basement apartment below . Guests staying on the main floor should be respectful of that space beneath, as those in the lower unit have to respect those above. This is not a place to have loud parties. The top floor of Colossal Craftsman (where the bedrooms are located) has no noise concerns.

NOTE—To have the best situation possible, book The Spacious Surprise also (it sleeps up to 6 more people). You can access both units from the inside stairway which is unlocked when both are booked. You can sleep up to 20 people with both units and have a wonderful family or friend reunion! It is also a great place to host a reception with both spaces booked by you. Baby showers, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and birthday celebrations would be an excellent use for this property. Please be aware that a reception is NOT a wild party (which is not allowed even with both units booked for your stay).

The new Comfy Cottage is centrally located. Downtown, the high school, Libs Park and Splash Pad, Hastings Museum, Fisher Fountain, the hospital and Hastings Lake are only two minutes or less away. Gas stations and restaurants are one minute away, and you can reach Walmart and the ball complex quickly. There are two king beds, one queen, one double, and a slim XL twin on the window seat, as well as a queen size air bed and couch. Make lasting memories in this family-friendly setting.

The space
This century-old cottage maintains much of its original charm-including a squeaky main floor. It has a well-stocked modern kitchen with a brand new dishwasher and dining service for ten. Fluffy towels, Dream Cloud beds with cotton duvets, nightstands with plug-ins for electronics, a sleepable window seat, deck, WIFI, tv's in all bedrooms, blinds, and white noise machines ensure a great stay. Relax in the big soaker bathtub in the master bath! Or have a fun foosball competition in the basement game room!

An extension and extra table allow ten to dine. Games and toys for guests' use are provided. We've installed a tankless hot water heater so you won't run out of hot water! There is a picnic table (please understand it is outside and may need wiped down due to storms, etc.) and a furnished deck with a gas grill adjacent to the deck. A portable crib, infant bathtub and high chair are also available. There is off-street parking next to the house for four cars or two large pick-ups. The nearest other parking is 1/2 block away. We have a 2500+ square foot ranch home with full basement that is spacious, comfortable & clean, within close proximity to everything Hastings has to offer.
The main floor is timeless and remodeled with all new flooring. Our open living room with over sized sectional and nearby sitting area are beautiful and lined with wood beam ceilings. It transitions off of the full kitchen, dinette area & dining area to seat 8-10. Finally, we have 3 private bedrooms--each with queen beds and a full bathroom. There are 3 Amazon Fire TVs on the main floor.

We had fun decorating the basement and date stamped it with mid-century modern decor and comfortable furniture in the large open basement. It also has 2 private bedrooms-- each with full size bed, and a full bath with another separate vanity area outside of the bathroom, as well as a desk.

Single rollaway bed available for use in basement upon reservation request. There are 3 Amazon Fire TVs in the basement as well as closet space in each bedroom.

Please contact us a day before your arrival, we may be able to accommodate different times, if requested/available.

We appreciate your help in keeping our cleaning rates lower than some.
In order to do that please do the following before checking out:
Please strip used sheets off and leave them on the bed. We have found that people find clothes or other personal items they may otherwise have left behind. We will launder the bedding, thank you.
If you are showering and leaving soon after to check out, please make sure to hang your towels to dry in the bathroom.
Please place other used/dirty/dry towels and/or linens in the laundry bag provided in the laundry room when leaving.
We ask that you take out any full kitchen trash bags and place them in the outside trash can on the west side of the garage prior to leaving.
Do not run the dishwasher if you are leaving, we will gladly do that.
Please double check to make sure you are not leaving any belongings behind.
IF you prefer full service and do not want to hassle with the things above, please let me know and we can review the additional charges for that.
