- "We are not sure where to start, but this was an unbelievable place to stay! It literally felt like a home away from home. Overall, the accommodations starting from the kitchen, to the bedrooms and the bathrooms, it seemed like every aspect of what was needed was thought of and then some. (Literal spa downstairs!!) We cannot say enough about the overall layout though. Just great space and amenities. We actually hosted a large family gathering here and from everyone visiting with one another, to preparing food in the kitchen or grilling outside, and especially the fire pit later in the evening, the space just seemed to accommodate what we needed and flow seamlessly as if we were at home. The Rev's Suite is a recently renovated bedroom and living area below our home. It has a separate private entrance through the back yard.

We are within walking distance to historic downtown Garden City as well as St. Catherine's Hospital. Many shops & restaurants nearby. All of Garden City is less than 5 minutes away.

You will find the space clean, quiet and relaxing. We are available to assist you as needed.

The space
Private entrance door at the back of the house. Descend one flight of stairs and you are there!

The bedroom has a Queen size bed with memory foam mattress and standard bedding. Tech charging nightstand. Lamps, clock, small desk & chair, rolling rack and shelving are available. The door has a lock with key.

Laundry facilities are located inside the main bathroom area. Feel free to use our supplies.

The bathroom is brand new. Tile floors, vanity with mirror, toilet, & stand up glass enclosed shower. This room has a locking door for privacy.

Living room with tv, sofa, and dining table is available.

TV equipped for Netflix, Prime or Hulu via Apple TV. No cable, some local channels accessible with antenna. Wifi is available with password.

Kitchenette has a mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven & coffee maker. Stainless steel sinks and cabinets with basic amenities for cooking. There is no stove or cooktop.

THIS HOME HAS PETS. We have two cats and a Golden Retriever named Scarlett in the house. The cats may come downstairs so be sure to keep the door to your bedroom closed if you don’t like visitors.

This suite is in the basement of a family home; the space is not sound proof. While we try to be respectful, you may hear us above you. When we cook, you may also smell food downstairs.

This is a private ADA studio addition to a residential home near downtown Garden City. It is clean, bright and quiet. You will have a private entrance and parking, access to an outdoor grill and lounge area, and a shared laundry. The studio has a large living space, and a small kitchenette with full size appliances. We will supply a Keurig and some breakfast basics. Restaurants, parks & shopping within walking distance. HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE LAYOUT. Discounted rate for extended stays.

Much more private and personal than a hotel. Fully enclosed fence around the perimeter of the property. Come and go as you please. Large vehicles welcome. Feel free to book an extended stay. Your room upstairs faces the front yard w/ a view trees from your bed (Queen size).
The bathroom has private access from the bedroom, you have a private large en-suite full bath double vanity, with tub/shower. There is a half bath in the front hall, so you will not ever have to wait to use the lavatory if more than one guest is with you.

KITCHEN:
Full access to everything you will need, pots/pans, utensils, oils, spices, coffees, teas, Ninja Blender, rice cooker, & more.
(You do need to provide your own groceries) :)

The kitchen is everyone’s favorite if you love to cook you will love the gas cooktop, griddle and double ovens.

Small town, if you are visiting on business you will need your own transportation. Car rental is available at the airport if you are flying in.

I have never had any Issues with short or long term guests, everyone has been a delight to host! We have shared meals, & many stories by the fire pit on the patio. That said, their are definate house rules that we all need to follow to continue our success as a super host & super guest!

This is a very safe neighborhood, and perfect for day or night walks, either around the neighborhood or down to the Talley Trail area.

Things provided: toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, hair dryer, bath towels, pillows & bed linens. Extra sheets & towels, Iron & Ironing board In hall closet.

Please keep your area free from smelly fast food trash, bring wrappers/bags/boxes down to the trash can In kitchen or outside trash bin, if you are eating in your room.

If your trash becomes full please take it to the bin outside the back patio area to large black trash bin.

We ask that you use the squeegee in the shower on the walls & glass doors, using the hand towel provided to then wipe off glass doors, faucet & grout lines to keep mold and soap scum from building up during your stay.

TOILET/PLUMBING CARE:
ONLY TOILET PAPER IS TO BE FLUSHED!
Wipes will plug up our system!
NO WIPES! there Is a covered trash can, where those may go, right next to the toilet. Extra small trash bags are on the bookshelf In the hallway .
If you need there Is a toilet bowel brush & plunger next to the stool.

Long term guests will néed & agree to having their room dusted/vacuumed/mopped and bathroom spot cleaned once a month. There Is an additional $30 charge which can be paid through the AirBNB request resolution platform. Arrangements to be paid & agreed upon each month as to day/time.

SHARED LAUNDRY:
There Is laundry soap & dryer sheets, $3 charge per load (wash/dry Included) there Is a cash jar or you can pay through Airbnb.
Bed sheets can be left In laundry room for me to wash, you can grab a fresh set from the hall closet next to your room.

NO oily, grease, or fuel covered clothes from work.
PLEASE USE LAUNDRYMAT FOR THESE ITEMS!
These Items leave a residue In washer & are a fire hazard In the dryer.

SHARED COMMON AREAS:
When entering the house please remove shoes/boots, black mats are In both entrances for safe keeping. My dogs will not bother them.

Kitchen, dining room, living room, half bath, & outside patio & gas grill, are shared.
Please Clean up after yourself;
Kitchen wash/dry & put away all dishes /pots & pans after cooking. Clean up any spills, splatter on counters, cooktop or microwave.
Use cutting boards provided, for any chopping/slicing/meat prep ect.

In general, Keep things nice for everyone.

If you need there Is a toilet bowel brush & plunger next to the stool.

Long term guests will néed & agree to having their room dusted/vacuumed/mopped and bathroom spot cleaned once a month. There Is an additional $30 charge which can be paid through the AirBNB request resolution platform. Arrangements to be paid & agreed upon each month as to day/time.

SHARED LAUNDRY:
There Is laundry soap & dryer sheets, $3 charge per load (wash/dry Included) there Is a cash jar or you can pay through Airbnb.
Bed sheets can be left In laundry room for me to wash, you can grab a fresh set from the hall closet next to your room.

NO oily, grease, or fuel covered clothes from work.
PLEASE USE LAUNDRYMAT FOR THESE ITEMS!
These Items leave a residue In washer & are a fire hazard In the dryer.

SHARED COMMON AREAS:
When entering the house please remove shoes/boots, black mats are In both entrances for safe keeping. My dogs will not bother them.

Kitchen, dining room, living room, half bath, & outside patio & gas grill, are shared.
Please Clean up after yourself;
Kitchen wash/dry & put away all dishes /pots & pans after cooking. Clean up any spills, splatter on counters, cooktop or microwave.
Use cutting boards provided, for any chopping/slicing/meat prep ect.

In general, Keep things nice for everyone.

You will have access to shared common areas - the front entry, half bath, kitchen, dining, living, laundry*, & back patio area.

*Laundry limited to early morning or evenings. I see clients in the home, hours vary from around 9am - 7pm. Laundry is located near my office area.

There is also room in the kitchen for your dry goods & snacks, your own cabinet space. And shelf in the fridge if you are staying for more than a couple of days.

We love to get to know our guests, but respect your space if you'd prefer to do your own thing.

There is much laughter in our home and many great conversations you are welcome to join in on.

If you are joining us for dinner you may be asked to help w/ prep or cleanup. Depending on the menu for the evening an extra fee of $10 (ex: pasta) -$30 (ex: steak/salmon) will be requested.
Evening dinners are not guaranteed.
