Boat rentals can potentially be arranged via the owner (Boating License is required to rent directly through the owner), and there is also a marina (Easton Point Marina) close by to launch your own boat.

Best offers, shorter rental periods, and long-term rentals are considered and rates are generally half the price in the fall and winter (October through March). This area of the Eastern Shore has some of the best duck and goose hunting in the world.

Note: Talbot County Rules and Regulations: Short Term Rental License #ST-776-HUF2019. Talbot County Code Chapter 190-33.20(C)(1) states: "The Maximum number of persons permitted to be on-site associated with any short-term rental shall be limited at all times to the lesser of 12 persons or two persons per bedroom in the primary dwelling, excluding infants under eighteen month of age, and not including any bedrooms within an accessory dwelling." Talbot County requires us to list the maximum number of guests as six ("6"). You should note, however, that there are two king size beds, and two sets of twin bunk beds in the three bedrooms, and there is also an inflatable queen size bed in the master bedroom closet. 3 Night Minimum Stay for all rentals required by Talbot County law.

The mandatory Maryland (6%) & Talbot County (4%) rental tax is added to your agreed upon rental amount. The pool is usually closed at the beginning of November and reopened in April. It is sometimes too cold to enjoy swimming in the pool prior to Memorial Day weekend depending on the weather.

Early check-in and late check-out will be considered upon request and granted depending on the ability to properly clean (according to Covid-19 protocol) and set up the property in between guests.

Guests will have sole access to the entire property, no one else lives on the property. You will have sole access to the pool, hot tub, entire house, dock, tennis court, and yard (4+ acres) during the rental period.

- "The grounds are incredibly gorgeous, huge trees, the largest being easily 6 feet thick, all very well maintained. We took the kayaks out on the creek, sat in the Adirondacks and looked at the bay, walked the grounds in awe, and spent time in the air conditioned living room and enjoyed almost the same view as you see outside via the wall of windows. The kitchen and pantry had everything we'd need to prepare a meal, appliances all worked great including the air fryer, bathrooms had toiletries and towels in plenty. Dining room was large enough for 6 people to spread out and play board games and eat. Of course there is St Michaels nearby providing loads of little shops and restaurants, and if you need anything at all the town of Easton in the other direction has all the big stores you're used to seeing at home. The property is very far off the main road, very private, but everything you need is 10 minutes away. Could not have asked for more!"

We provide a 24 hour contact for all guests while on property. We ask that they contact us between the hours of 8am and 8pm unless it is an emergency and needs immediate attention.

Guests are notified of check in details 72 hours prior to arrival.
Check out instructions are texted within 18 hours of departure.
Guest will be required to sign a property lease agreement required by Talbot County Code.

The property is beautifully situated across the Tred Avon from Oxford and we enjoyed boating there for lunch or simply cruising around the local creeks. The house had everything we needed. I only wish we hadn't packed so much kitchenware because the kitchen was very well equipped for anything - right down to a garlic press! From sipping coffee as we watched the regattas on the river, to dinners enjoying fabulous sunsets and star gazing in the evening, our days were relaxed and peaceful. Hunter and Stephanie were easy to contact and the on-property manager Rich was helpful and responded to any questions we had very promptly. There was enough space for us to be together (meals, pool, games), and the house was situated so that we could each have our own spaces to retreat. We fished and crabbed off the dock and easily got on our paddleboards and kayaks to explore the waterways. The pool is the stunner of the house, though! The kitchen is well stocked to cook and has new appliances. The house was very clean and tidy. It is a little dated, but the setting is so extraordinary, it's hardly worth noticing. It's an easy drive to the cute town of Easton (less than 10 minutes) and very easy access to St. Michaels and Tilghman Island. There is so much to see and do -- and just relax!"
