- "This is a really fun location right on King street. Highly recommend. The room is like an efficiency apartment, very cool. We just used the fridge but there is cookware and glass cups. It is a homey kind of feel. We used the dishes and used the sink for daily washing. This apartment is right in the middle of a busy street. So it is pretty lively until after midnight. Just know that going in. I loved it, some may not. OK Sonder the booking experience. I have read reddit reviews. This is a model where there is no front desk. So, it is very critical that you read the check in e-mail very carefully. Do your check in as soon as you book your room. I cannot stress this enough. check in requires uploads and verifications. Once complete you will get a conformation e-mail. Two days prior to our visit we received our door codes. For us everything went very smoothly. Love the location, super fun town center. Very easy to the National Mall - 15 minutes MAX. We did 4 museums in 3 days and still had time to got out in the evening on King street. Murphy Irish pub is basically right next door. Super fun with live music great Irish pub fare and super convienent. I parked at 418 Cameron St - Tavern Sq. Overnight parking - $11 during the week, $5 on the weekend. "

Beautiful newly renovated residence in heart of old town. Residence is the entire second floor of charming old town townhouse. Private entrance. Quick 2 block walk to King street which has everything you could possibly want. Second bedroom has twin bed with a pull up trundle which makes it a king. Second bedroom also has a desk , chair, and monitor making it a perfect rental for people traveling for business. Home also has private outdoor patio and hard to find parking (shared driveway) for 1 car. 7 blocks to Potomac river where you can catch a water taxi to National Mall, National Harbor, The Wharf, Nationals stadium. Super close to Regan airport.

We can provide a guest parking pass for your stay — available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you're driving, let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to let you know the pass's availability. Alternatively, you can register for a temporary pass directly with the Fairfax County Permitting Department to accommodate your vehicle during your visit.

Guest passes are reserved for a guest only for a confirmed booking, prioritizing guests that have requested in advance.

A $150 fee will be assessed for a misplaced or lost parking pass due to replacement and administrative costs, and inconvenience to other guests in need of a parking pass. Thank you for your understanding.

🔇 Noise & Neighborhood:

This is a respectful household and we enforce quiet hours (10 PM–7 AM), but normal living noises do occur. You might occasionally hear others in the home as they cook or do laundry. Likewise, we ask you to be mindful of noise, especially at night. The neighborhood is residential and generally peaceful. Any noise complaints from neighbors due to rule violations could result in Airbnb intervention.

🧺 Laundry Access:

While we do not have laundry machines inside the house, there is a convenient laundromat within walking distance—you can get there in about a brisk minute walk. It’s a great option for self-service laundry.

Too busy? The laundromat also offers pickup and delivery services through their app, so you can have your laundry handled without leaving the house. For any specific laundry arrangements or recommendations, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help.

For everyone’s safety, we have exterior security cameras monitoring the home’s outside entryway (no interior cameras). There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen for your protection.
