I would absolutely book this home again!" - "We really enjoyed this rental. Comes with a golf cart that you can take the maybe 200 yards to the gated beach parking. The gated community has good amenities also included the outside pool, pond fishing and activities like ice cream social that you can attend. When looking at staying a week or more it is the best option to rent a house and this house had all we needed for the my wife, son and I. Kitchen to cook some food and grill to feel just like at home. Plenty of games to play, screened area with TV and ahose by stairs to rinse that sand off. Grocery store is also super close by. Way cheaper than hotels or resorts with the house you can eat and in and like us can grill the fish you catch in Murrell's Inlet as we did after catching some nice flounder. Easy to get to the attractions of Myrtle Beach right up the road without dealing with a hotel elevator that's packed walking to car in a garage or trying to find parking. Also after the days at the beach you can easily do some laundry in there full size washer and dryer. I know we thought we are on vacation not going to do laundry but it ended up being used to get the sand out those beach clothes. The neighbors were friendly no noise at night to keep you up and the AC in this place is extreme. Maybe after getting a sunburn but man we set it to 73 as we do at our house and when we would walk in from the crazy 95 heat and humidity it was actually freezing feeling. So if your like me and sleep better feeling cool you will sleep great... Maybe set it to 75 though. Kim the property manager also is spot on. She was very accommodating even letting us check in a few hours earlier without concern. She also supplied us with beach chairs and umbrella to us as this wasn't even shown included."

Master bedroom has a Queen size bed. In the second bedroom there are a set of bunk beds, a trundle and a single bed. TV's in the living room and master bedroom, DVD player, ceiling fans in all rooms. Both bedrooms furnished with dressers and closets with hangers so you can unpack and make yourself at home. Bathroom is furnished with plenty of towels for your use, there is no extra charge for bath and linen service. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need, small island with extra seating, pots, pans, utensils, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher and more. Dining room table seats 6 when extended. There is an outdoor shower for you to rinse off in after your day at the beach or pool. Enclosed shed area for you to lock up your personal items (bikes, surf boards, boogie boards, etc....)

Rainy day?? We have plenty of board games and a Wii gaming system to keep your kids entertained, some video games have been left for your use. If your child is a reader, there are plenty of books to chose from, cards your thing.... we have those too! Free WiFi and basic cable TV through Roku.

PLEASE NOTE: This is the downstairs unit only, we have family members who live upstairs full time.

Our #1 Rule is that you HAVE FUN! But please note, we only rent to families and at least one adult needs to be 25 or older. Maximum occupancy is 6. Check in time is at 3 p.m. and check out time is at 10 a.m. We also will consider less then a week stay in some cases (usually during off peak season). Smoking is NOT permitted inside the home. Relax on our deck, see the ocean, and hear the waves breaking. Our home is located in Oceanside Village (a private, family-oriented, gated community) in Surfside Beach between the Surfside and Garden City Piers. We have a spacious, covered and painted deck providing cool breezes with an ocean view where you can enjoy outdoor dining on the two tables with chairs. Inside we added wainscoting, window casements, new light fixtures, fresh paint, and some new plumbing fixtures. In 2014 we installed laminate flooring throughout the home, and completely remodeled the king bedroom's private bathroom to include a shower/bathtub combination and new sink. The hall bathroom was fully remodeled in Dec 2021.

Two bedrooms (one king and one queen) accommodate four persons comfortably. The king bedroom has a private bathroom (remodeled in 2014), and separate entrance leading to a secluded deck. The closet and dresser offer ample storage. It also has a 40in flat screen TV with Roku for streaming. The second bedroom has a queen bed, large dresser, and a 32in flat screen TV with Roku for streaming. Its walk-in closet has plenty of space with a stack washer and dryer, ironing board, and iron.

The kitchen features a refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, disposal, flat surface stove and oven, a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, and all cookware including dishes and utensils. The kitchen also has a large eat-in bar with three stools for casual dining and a separate dining room with an ocean view that seats six.

The spacious living room has a love seat, recliner, and a comfortable sofa. There is a 55in flat screen TV with Roku for streaming, and free WIFI internet connection for the house. There are ceiling fans throughout.

The concrete parking area below can accommodate 4 vehicles easily. There is a private outdoor shower (cold only). Borrow a beach chair from the outdoor bin and have fun on the beach - which is less than a minute's walk.

We love pets, but we have a strict NO PETS policy for the entire property (inside, outside, decks, parking area, and planted/landscape areas). Smoking or vaping is NOT allowed anywhere on our property. A golf cart is NOT included with the home. During summer season, we ONLY rent Saturday through Saturday.

Upon arrival, visit the Oceanside Village Office if you would like access to oceanfront parking in the lot beside the Conch Cafe, golf cart rental, or use of the fitness center (separate fees apply for these features). OSV does not allow non-resident golf carts.
You can enjoy complementary use of the indoor (heated) and outdoor pools, a children's water park with a lounge cooling area, lighted tennis courts, volleyball courts, a basketball court, a baseball field, bocce and horseshoe courts, a park/playground area, and many fishing lakes around the 180-acre property. Oceanside Village is a short drive north to Market Common, Myrtle Beach, and other area attractions or south to Murrell's Inlet and Pawley's Island for great seafood, nightlife, and specialty shops.

Area attractions include over 100 golf courses - Tupelo Bay is just across Hwy 17 from Oceanside Village. Miniature golf courses are close, too. Fish from one of the two nearby piers (Surfside and Garden City), go off shore on a charter out of Murrell's Inlet, or surf fish with a SC fishing license. There are many more water activities to choose from including kayaking, parasailing, jet skiing, banana boating, and several different water tours.

Abundant shopping is available within a short drive at Inlet Square Mall, Market Common, Coastal Grand Mall, Barefoot Landing, or Broadway at the Beach.

- "This was a cute little house. The neighborhood was really neat, everyone rode golf carts everywhere. The community has a fitness center, a park, is so close to the beach (with community beach), and the pool was right across the street from the house. I appreciated that chairs and umbrellas were at the house, along with a propane grill. I loved sitting on either one of the porches in the mornings, as the neighborhood was peaceful during this time. The kitchen came with plenty of cutlery and cooking utensils. There is a washer and dryer as well which we genuinely appreciated having. We had a great time. Just show up with your clothes and family, they made sure to have everything ready for you."

- "Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great little place perfect for 2-4 people. There was no dishwasher which was not posted in the listing description. The island with the fold up table portion should be replaced as it’s not functional to sit at and eat. The washer and dryer should be updated, very outdated and it’s very difficult to do a load of laundry when the doors don’t stay open. There are bricks on the pool deck that are not stable and have broken. The cleaners cleaned what they had to and nothing beyond. Floor was sandy when we arrived, dust bunnies under beds and behind doors. Baseboards and ceiling fans were dusty and mirrors were not cleaned. Just some notes I did go purchase an extra fan for the livingroom seemed to help keep it cooler during the day & to cool down in the evening so just in case you have an extra on hand. I also have a small air fryer that we took & used instead of the stove/oven to help keep it cooler (use for travel sports seasons). But this is usually not a big issue but with the heat index it was 105 plus the entire time we were there. The beds sleep great & card/board games on hand for rainy days. One more thing the door lock read the instructions to make sure you lock the door it worked great but previous renter did not lock. Conch Cafe we eat there every visit & highly recommend. National House of Pancakes (I HP) we tried everyone raved about, was good but more of an experience (very kid friendly balloons, cotton candy, rock candy or rubber duck on tops of their drinks) just in case you’re a family on a budget it is pricey. So people know especially if you rented from other OSV previously. There are no keycards provided you do have to purchase one w/ the car tag for 30 each & then a small refund is mailed back to you when returned. can also get one to the Gym which I think was 30 & same as above. Owners were great sent messages throughout our stay checking on things. You did great w/ this property & loved our stay. Can’t wait to come back & enjoy/relax again"

**Quiet Hours** : We ask guests to respect the neighbors and observe quiet

hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

**Private Spa** : Children under 10 are NOT permitted in the Spa. 10 to

17-year-olds are only allowed in the Spa with a parent or guardian present.

**NO EXCEPTIONS**. Keep the Spa closed when no one is in it. There will be

separate instructions for opening, closing, and adding a small chlorine scoop

when you finish using it for the day. You'll find this on the wall next to

the thermostat.

**Arrival:** Oceanside Village is a gated community. Arrival is through the

manned security gate off of Melody Lane, just East (ocean side) of Business

17. Security will have the "driver's" name you provided on their list. They

will issue you a mirror tag that allows you unlimited access through this

manned security gate. You may exit through any of the unmanned gates. There is

an unmanned gate next to our property. There are five total unmanned gates,

but they all require an access card for entry. All unmanned gates are closed

between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.

You can purchase a gate access card (size of a credit card) in the OSV office

(not at the guardhouse) that allows you to enter through any of the other 5

unmanned gates. The cost is $30, **cash only** , with a $10 cash refund if you

return the card to the OSV office during business hours. If you need to return

it after hours, use the mail slot to the left of the office entrance door

where you purchased it. They will mail you a check. The office is located near

the guardhouse. You’ll drive past the office, on your left, as you come into

the community. Office hours are 8:30 – 4:30 Monday–Friday, and 9:00 – 4:30

Saturday.

**Parking:** Park on the left side of the driveway. The guest parking sign

will be visible on the house.

**Entry** : The front door is on the beach side of the first floor. Your

access code will be the last 4 digits of your cell phone number used for your

reservation. Normal check-in is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m. Please

reach out to us if you would like an earlier check-in.

Moving through the apartment, the living area is found at the back of the apartment.  The living room features a queen sleeper sofa, accent chair, modern decor, dining table and chairs, TV, and access to the full kitchen.  The full size kitchen features all new, full size appliances that include a fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, toaster, and kitchen sink.  We provide all basic cookware and kitchenware, and everything you need to prepare a snack or small meal will be stocked in the cabinets for you!  For guests who prefer to dine out, Garden City has hundreds of incredible dining options within a short drive or Uber.  Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, and Grubhub have become very popular and convenient options as well.    

Have a fur baby? Yes, they are welcome too! Our guests have the options to bring up to 2 pets (dog or cat) with a $100 paid flat pet fee. Once your reservation is made and the pet agreement has been completed the pet fee request will be sent to you through the resolution center. To keep this rental maintained as good as possible, we do ask that pets not be allowed on the sofa or living room furniture. In addition, when guests leave, we do ask that the pets be crated until their owners return. This is important not only for the care of the property, but also for vendors, pest control, maintenance, and housekeeping personnel who may need to enter the property. Vendors may not be able to provide necessary services if pets are not crated, and we appreciate your understanding!

Our home is located on the creek in Garden City Beach. We are offering a master bedroom suite with a private entrance. We have an elevator for those in need. We are 4 tenth of a mile from The Pier, 3 miles from Murrells Inlet, home of the marsh walk, restaurants and bars. Myrtle beach is 10 miles north. Enjoy watching sunrise or sunset on our 3rd story widow’s walk. We have available 2 bikes, beach chairs and towels. Special rates are available for weekly and monthly rentals.

The space
A large deck covered by a Sunsetter Awning is located out of your bedroom door. There is wicker furniture as well as a patio table and chairs. Sit for a quiet morning coffee, watching beautiful marsh birds hurting for breakfast in the salt water marsh. A spiral stairway leads you to the private widow's walk with lounge chairs for sunning or star gazing.

Please feel free to enjoy the furnished upstairs deck (outside your private entrance), up the winding stairway to the third floor widow's walk, the creek front patio and the outdoor kitchen. Crabbing and fishing are also available.

Frank and I enjoy meeting and being available to assist guest in whatever they need. Feel free to pop in for questions, conversation and a cup of coffee anytime! Charlotte usually has muffins or grits in morning.

Welcome to our renovated bright and airy 1st floor, 3 brdm/2 bath condo with a pull-out couch for additional sleeping. The Surfside Beach and Pier is a quick 5 minute drive. Our condo has a secure keyless entry, wifi, cable, tv in each room, AC, in-unit washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchen, games, books, beach toys and a work area.

Surfside Beach is located at the south end of Myrtle Beach. It is a family friendly community which is 20 minutes from the airport. Surfside Beach is centrally located to many local attractions for shopping, entertainment and dining: Surfside Beach & pier, Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington Beach State Park, Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk, along with numerous family dinner theatre shows, golf courses and watersports. Georgetown, SC and Charleston, SC are also fun places to visit for the day.

Our condo is in the Southbridge complex off of Glenns Bay Road. You will be limited to 2 parking spots but there are often more spaces available for short term parking. There is a (seasonal) outdoor pool with lounge chairs and tables. You will be given a pool key card upon arriving. If the pool key card is lost, you will be charged $50 for a replacement card. All children must be accompanied by an adult while in the pool area.

We offer short and long term stays.

The numerous ponds and nature offer a true feeling of serenity and relaxation, so be sure to take a minute to enjoy the turtles, swans and fish.

There is no smoking or pets allowed in this unit. There will be an additional cleaning charge of $250 if smoking is detected in the unit. If a pet is discovered in the unit without prior approval, an additional charge of $250 will be added on for cleaning.

The maximum occupancy for this unit is 8. Any additional guests will need prior approval and if unauthorized guests are discovered, there will be an additional guest fee & cleaning fee.

The living room has a couch that pulls out into a queen size bed, a chair, tv, end tables, coffee table, and a ceiling fan. There is an adjoining sunroom with a work/game table, closet, and a door that offers additional light and leads you outside.

We will provide some beach towels and basic beach supplies (toys, chairs, umbrella) but cannot guarantee the condition of them or if they will be there during your stay.

Our condo has 3 bedrooms.

The first bedroom has 2 twin beds, a dresser, nightstand, closet, smart tv, a ceiling fan, and a window for natural light.

The middle bedroom has 1 queen bed, a dresser, closet, smart tv, nightstand, a ceiling fan, and a window for natural light.

The 1st & 2nd bedrooms can share the hallway bathroom which has a shower stall. The bathrooms will have fresh towels, and we will also provide starter items such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap. A hair dryer is also provided.

The master bedroom has nice natural light coming into the room as well. It has 1 king bed, 1 dresser, a closet, nightstand, smart tv, and a ceiling fan. There is a bathroom attached to the bedroom that has a linen closet and bathtub. There is space for luggage in the closet or under the bed.

This unit a washer & dryer with starter laundry detergent, an iron, ironing board, and hangers. Please clean the dryer screen after each use.

Our kitchen/dining room offers all the essentials. It is equipped with a blender, crockpot, toaster, microwave, and dishwasher. The cupboards are stocked with cookware, plates, and cups that are kid-friendly as well. The dining area has a table that seats 6 (plus 2 stools at the counter) and a coffee bar with starter supplies for your morning or evening coffee and tea.

There is a shared green space area at the end of the complex to run around, play games, throw a frisbee, play catch, etc. Please do not throw balls/toys near the cars, building or air conditioning units.

A day or two before your arrival, you will receive your personal code to enter the unit, the wifi password, and a reminder of the basic instructions upon leaving.

Quiet hours are from 10:00pm - 8:00am. No loud music or gatherings during this time frame.
