- "This property is a short jaunt to my family's place in Stella, town nearby. I pulled in a bit later than the typical check in time (driving Boston to North Carolina was a bit longer than expected) and was greeted by the barn cats. After walking the property for a few (and taking more than a few pictures) I called Robert, the property manager, and was lead through the ins and outs of the property. I had been upgraded to the "Zen Suite" and it was very cozy, lots of activities and things to do. I exceptionally enjoyed the shower, which features a rainfall style water head and great water pressure. The bed was comfortable, plenty of extra pillows available if needed (I didn't, but when with my wife it's a common need) The location is just a short drive to Swansboro, plenty of shopping and food options, not more than a mile away. This is a great property, and the ownership is fantastic and can't wait to return this summer if it's in the cards"

- "It was a great stay" - "Cabin was roomy and comfortable with full kitchen ( not much in immediate area). Recreation center was good with helpful people. Only downside was for older people trouble getting luggage up and down stairs as property elevated and no elevator etc" - "The only thing that really bothered me is we had 6 in our party and it says it sleeps 8, but only 2 of the beds had bedding. There were 2 more sets of sheets but no blankets and the fold out bed was not even sleepable for the kids it was so uncomfortable so 2 slept on the couch as it was. We had to go buy extra blankets for the other beds as they didnt come with them. I know we got a great rate and dishes wise it had everything we needed, but it could use minor updates. Also the toilet backed up into the bathtub the last night so we couldnt use the second bathroom. But otherwise it was good. They let us check in way early and leave an hour late, which helped a lot. I would just suggest blankets for all the beds in the future along with replacing the foldout bed. We did have the best spot, right next to all the ammenities though. "

This private historic cottage (c. 1850) is located in the heart of historic downtown New Bern and steps away from shopping, dining, and the waterfront. The cottage was originally a law office and sits on the property of the historic Coor-Cook residence (c. 1790), listed on the New Bern Architectural Walking Tour.

Guests have access to the entire cottage- one bedroom with queen-size bed. Full bathroom. Eat-in kitchen. Separate living room. WiFi. Onsite parking for 1 vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE PRIOR TO BOOKING:

-2 person max per reservation- please do not check-in with more than 2 individuals.

-No children under the age of 12 permitted either on the reservation or as guests due to historic preservation and safety concerns (no railings, gas stove, etc).

-The cottage is limited to those individuals listed on the booking reservation only. No guests/events/parties.

-No pets of any kind- this includes “emotional support animals” and small non-shedding breeds. Trained service animals permitted.

-While there is no cable, the wi-fi allows streaming. The cottage has a Netflix account, and guests may feel free to log into their own streaming services at their discretion.

-The cottage is not wheelchair accessible. There are four brick steps outside the front door and no handrail (see photo of front door). Bathroom is also not wheelchair accessible due to size.

-Smoking and vaping is not permitted on the property, inside or outside.

-There is a functioning train track along Hancock Street. The train comes by (very slowly) most days. It also comes by some nights. Trains are not permitted to blow their horn in the residential historic district.

-The cottage sits next to our personal family residence. We have two friendly, outdoor cats that roam the property.

-The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, olive oil and common spices. Otherwise, we do not supply baking/cooking ingredients to avoid responsibility for items expiring/spoiling. The kitchen has cookware/bakeware and you are welcome to bring your own items for cooking. Aldi, Publix, Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly, and Harris Teeter are local grocery options.

Wonderful oceanfront beach house in quiet North Topsail Beach NC. Summer rentals are from Saturday - Saturday in peak season for twelve weeks, from Memorial Day until the end of August. During Winter, Spring and Fall, weekends and other options are available including a two night minimum, early check-in and late check-out. This sunfilled, two bedroom, one bath home is ideal for a small family, a get away for a few friends or for a couple's vacation. It is a vintage 1969 fishing cottage with original hardwood floors and detailed ceiling. There is central AC and heat in our cottage. This beach house is strictly non-smoking. We allow up to two pets with specific permission in writing, so email us and tell us about your furry family member! We do require a non-refundable pet fee per pet. Pets are $25 per night and $150 for the week.

North Topsail Beach is a relaxing, family oriented beach. The cottage has a wonderful upper deck with 180 degree views of the ocean and beach! The public beach cross-over is 100 ft. from the deck, so you have easy access for bringing over your chairs and everything you will need for an afternoon of sun, surfing, boogie boarding and building sand castles! There is a sand path along the dune leading to the public cross over. We have a storage area with beach chairs, an umbrella and some sand toys and boogie boards. There is a charcoal grill and grilling tools available as well. The full sized washer and dryer is in the storage area and the large outdoor shower has hot and cold water and a dressing area. There is a carport with covered parking for one vehicle and a long gravel driveway for other cars.

The cottage has two separate bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin beds and the other has a queen sized bed. The bathroom has been completely renovated with hexagon tile floors and a cast iron tub/shower with subway tile surround. There are ceiling fans in the living room and each bedroom and a flat screen TV is in each bedroom and living room with free wifi access. The living room also has a DVD player and we have a movie library available. There is a cabinet with a small collection of books, playing cards and some games and puzzles for evenings or rainy days:)

The kitchen was renovated in February of 2021 and has a full sized stove and oven, refrigerator and microwave. We have an automatic 12 cup coffee maker that uses cone filters which are provided and a French press available. There is a toaster and blender as well. We do not have a dishwasher, so dishes do need to be hand washed:)

A local linen service can be recommended if you do not wish to bring your own linens. Clean quilts are provided for each bed.

- To ensure the safety of our guests, the property has a two outdoor cameras monitored by ADT.
- Each of the rooms has it’s own unique key so that guests can lock their rooms while away.
-Large kitchen and cooking utensils are available for guests to use.

Other things to note
The homeowners that we work for have strict policy of only accepting reservations from guests who have prior reviews on their profiles. This happened because we experienced some damages to the house from guests with no reviews. If your AirBnb profile does not have at least one positive review, we will not accept the reservation request.

My house has three bedrooms and two full baths. My guest room, which I am offering to women traveling alone, has a new mattress and new bedding. You will be the only one using your bathroom which has a tub with shower. My home is near Carolina East Medical and Craven Community College. Bosch, the German appliance company, has two large facilities in New Bern. I'Il meet you at the airport and drive you as needed around our small town. I'll provide breakfast of your choice each morning.

Our guesthouse is above our back garage and detached from our home. It is a short walk up a stairwell with outdoor seating. The guesthouse is beautifully painted, furnished, and decorated. The kitchen is equipped with everything one might need to enjoy a night or morning in. Our guesthouse is also non-smoking.

In addition to the full, private apartment. You can request access to two kayaks and accessories as well as the fire pit area.
