The clean whites and grays of the condo interior mimic the colors of a sea gull. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed for both the foodie who loves to cook and the guest who is heating up leftovers from one of the many local restaurants, most of which are within 1/2 of a mile. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a sofa bed in the living room, so the unit can sleep 6. There is a full bathroom with a shower in the primary bedroom, and the full bath off of the living room has a tub/shower enclosure.

The beach is literally just steps away. Step out on the balcony, walk down the stairs, go to the end of Money Island Drive (150ft), turn west (right) on Glenn Street and go another 50' and the state beach access is right there. The beach is wide and inviting, with white sand and teal water that evokes scenes from the Caribbean.

The clean whites and grays of the condo interior mimic the colors of a sea gull. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed for both the foodie who loves to cook and the guest who is heating up leftovers from one of the many local restaurants, most of which are within 1/2 of a mile. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a sofa bed in the living room, so the unit can sleep 6. There is a full bathroom with a shower in the primary bedroom, and the full bath off of the living room has a tub/shower enclosure.

The beach is literally just steps away. Step out on the porch, go to the end of Money Island Drive (150ft), turn west (right) on Glenn Street, go another 50' and the state beach access is right there. The beach is wide and inviting, with white sand and teal water that evokes scenes from the Caribbean.

Units "Uptown" and "Downtown" (upstairs and downstairs respectively) share a ground floor charcoal grill and an open outdoor shower for rinsing off sand. Pet friendly!

NOTE: Airbnb shows "Entire home in Atlantic Beach." What they mean is you are renting the entire condo, not a room in someone's house, which is how that company started. Again, this is only the downstairs unit. You MAY be able to rent both together, but there is no internal staircase to connect them, only the outside stairs.

This 2nd floor BEACHFRONT studio condo with DIRECT BEACH ACCESS is located in Atlantic Beach's newest Beachfront building. The unit location within the complex is indicated in the aerial photo. The unit offers a "Peekaboo" Ocean View from the front window with a shared balcony as shown in the pictures. Experience peaceful walks, shelling, sunbathing, surf fishing, and sunset walks on on 600 ft of Pristine SECLUDED BEACH. The Coastal Bike Path is also available for jogging, bike rides, and walking. Our guests' safety and comfort are our number one priority and the space is professionally cleaned and thoroughly sanitized before your stay. There is no "shared air" as there is no enclosed lobby and the unit has an individual wall mounted a/c unit. This is a SMOKE-FREE Oceanside Complex. The aerial photo shows how close you will stay to the beach as well as the location of your space within the building.

The interior boasts a queen bed, full size futon, a kitchenette w/ appliances, flat screen TV, and WiFi. Perfect for couples, singles, and families with small children. An Outdoor Pool, 3 Charcoal BBQ Grills, 2 Gazebos, and a fish cleaning station are available to guests.

This is a beachfront complex but your unit is located on the outward side of the building facing neighboring complex and does NOT have a Direct Ocean View. Have the convenience of driving right up and parking right in front of your unit! You can enjoy Ocean views from the wraparound public balcony on the 2nd floor, and from the two Gazebos overlooking the Ocean (as shown in the photos).

There is no daily maid service but towel swap outs can be arranged for $10 upon request (paid directly to the cleaning service). There is a coin operated laundry room on site for longer stay guests.

There are a few things that could be improved like including a rod in the front bedroom closet, hooks near the showers, and a few more kitchen essentials (e.g. non-cutlery kitchen utensils, glasses). The hall bathroom door/lock also stuck sometimes. But overall these were very minor inconveniences and did not impact our lovely stay. The owner is very friendly, flexible and easy to communicate with. We would recommend this rental and would stay here again."

While it can accommodate up to four people, for this 300 square foot space, a maximum of three adults is recommended. Two adults with one child or two smaller children is also OK for this space. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

Dogs are allowed with a $200 + tax non refundable pet fee per dog, with a 3 dog maximum.
Airbnb guests: This fee is NOT included in your final price. Please notify Spectrum Properties once your booking has been confirmed to add this pet fee(s).

The only con, which really did impact our stay at all, was the little back yard area advertised as a sandy spot to play corn hole was overgrown with beach weeds. The beach was a quick 5 minute walk over a sandy path that cuts through the 2nd beach block. The beach was amazing, it’s huge! And the water was warm and there are tons of shells. Atlantic Beach is a perfect location with so much to do close by if you need to get out of the sun for a bit. We recommend: Fort Macon and the surrounding nature trails Beaufort The Maritime Museum Morehead City The Shackleford Banks/Cape Look out Ferry trip Fishtowne Brewery in Beaufort Tight Lines Brewery in Morehead City (beer and food are both delicious!!) ‘Steps Away’ is a condo/flat located within a two-minute walk to the beach and is adjacent to a pool and play yard. The quaint one-bedroom with additional sleeper sofa in the open kitchen / living / dining area space is well suited for your coastal getaway!

The kitchen has a four burner stove and oven, fridge, microwave and fully stocked kitchen should you want to cook a meal.

The unit is ground level (with no one above you) and includes free parking (City charges $20/day).

The space
This smoke-free pet-free 1 bedroom condo is best suited for a family of 4 or three adults. The bedroom sleeps two on a queen size bed and there is a queen-pull out couch in the living room. ( Guests to bring their own linens).

This is a ground floor condo with no steps. There are two parking passes with parking right near the shared porch and front door. No boat trailers allowed parked anywhere on the property- per HOA. Additional paid parking across the street.

There is a laundry facility on site that takes credit and debit cards and is accessed by a key code.

Self check in with key code provided ( code given prior to check in).

In order to keep costs to guests down, linens are not provided at this unit. *There is an option for guests to rent linens for around $35 at Blue Water Linens in Morehead City if guests desire.* We are happy to help arrange linen services for guests upon request.

Guests must be a minimum of 25 years old to rent and we ask that you are mindful of neighbors who we know and trust!

There are two A/C units that keep the place nice and cool ( and warm in winter months), a smart TV with cable and extremely fast wifi.

There are two beach chairs and a wagon guests are welcome to use - we ask that they be replaced should they break during your stay.

Pool is generally open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pool bands must be worn at all times and cost $25 to replace. Please leave the pool and backyard as you found it and dispose of all trash. No glass of any kind at the pool and be mindful of pool hours as posted.

This unit is smoke free and does not allow pets!

Guest access
You have use of entire condo, shared front porch area, backyard area and pool (generally May-Sept.), and laundry facilities. Common areas are secured with key codes which will be provided. ONLY guests who are renting or owners are allowed to use common space areas.

We provide a starter pack of paper towels, toilet paper, and kitchen towels. If guests require more, there is a Food Lion about a mile away.
