- "Super cute little cottage in Manteo! This was our first time not staying oceanfront but this little town didn’t disappoint. We still spent most of our time at the beach and found the closest public beach access to be about 15 minutes away which isn’t terrible. It was within close proximity to nags head as well so we didn’t have to drive far for eating out/shopping. My only complaint is that there’s no TV in the bedroom and the TV in the living room only picked up a few channels, and the pillows were a little uncomfy. Otherwise was an excellent stay in a super cute location and would definitely recommend/stay here again!"

This one bedroom suite with separate living room is located as part of a historic home built in 1901 in the town of Manteo with a little bit of everything for you to enjoy. This spacious property with its own porch and entrance. There is one king size bed, a complete tile bathroom with a walk-in shower and a relaxing living room for watching a movie or catching up on emails. The coastal decor and tranquility of the garden will relax you the whole time you're here. The porch is located next to a spacious back yard with a folly for your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. There are lots of locally owned restaurants in the area for your dining pleasure. The unit's kitchenette consists of a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Downtown Manteo is home to Outer Banks Distillery, Ortegas Southwest Grill, The Avenue Grill, Olives, Poor Richards, Old Town Creamery, Front Porch, Charis Coffee Shop and The Pioneer Theater with a nightly showing at 8pm. You can access all areas of the condo except locked owner's closets and storage.

Boat trailers CANNOT be stored on-site. Pirate's Cove security staff can direct you to off-site trailer parking at check-in. The marina has information about the off-site lot that you can use for a fee. Reservations for that lot are available in advance. Boat owners please read details about bringing a boat.
Other things to note
We are dog-friendly for non-shedding hypoallergenic breeds. Due to allergies, we can ONLY accept these types of dog breeds. ALL dogs must be discussed and approved in advance. Pet fee is a flat $125. Dogs must be up to date on flea meds, rabies vaccines and must be kept on a leash on the common grounds of the resort at all times.

The pool and hot tub are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Fitness center, playground, and tennis courts are open year-round.

The fireplace is NOT available for guest use at this time.

Guests must walk up stairs to access the unit. Our building does not have an elevator. However, we are on the first level.

Guests visiting from Memorial Day to Labor Day must fill out a registration form prior to check-in, per resort rules.

You may be asked to sign a separate lease agreement as a condition of your reservation.

We provide guests with the first roll of toilet paper and paper towels on arrival. Guests are responsible for additional needs.

BOAT OWNERS AND GUESTS BRINGING BOATS - PLEASE READ.
*We do have a slip available for renters for an additional fee of $150 per stay. *Maximum boast length is 25' for the use of the condo's slip. If you are bringing a boat and want to use the slip, you MUST let us know ahead of time.
*All vessels must fit within the designated slip location and not exceed a 15’ beam restriction. Please keep all excess lines/cords neatly coiled or looped aroundthe piling and do not obstruct the dock surface.
*We do NOT have parking for the boat trailer. Contact the Marina for information about off-site trailer storage.
*ALL OF THE WATERWAYS WITHIN PIRATE’S COVE ARE NO WAKE ZONES. This is very important due to the erosion of the canal shoreline and potential damage to other vessels. Fish and Wildlife Enforcement/Coast Guard will be patrolling and offenders will be ticketed. If a renter/guest is
issued a ticket for No Wake by Fish and Wildlife/Coast Guard in violation of the No Wake rule, management reserves the right to ask the renter/guest to
remove the vessel immediately.
*All guests are required to register their vessel upon arrival and obtain a decal from the Front Gate, which must be displayed in a highly
visible area on the vessel.
*The dock surface is not to be used to clean fish. There are fish cleaning stations located at the marina.

The pool was awesome and we met some really nice folks there and the food at Stripers was delicious. This is the place you should come and relax and just do nothing. Although we did not meet our host, the communication was very good and we knew if we needed anything or had an issue she would have taken care of it. I would 100% recommend staying on the Love Boat. We had the best time."

The Aft Master Stateroom has a Vanity, Dresser Storage, adjoining bath with electric head (toilet) and sink! (NOTE: Shower onboard is not for use. Just steps away from boat are two showers located in Marina building next to laundry room. There are also several other showers with regular indoor plumbing located in the Clubhouse that you have access to during your stay. These spaces are maintained by the Marina and not your host.)
Also, on board is a well equipped kitchen with refrigerator and freezer (bring your own ice), microwave, pantry, double sink, 3-burner range & dining area! You will notice oven in picture but it is NOT an offered amenity.
Located in the Salon is a sofa with Roku Smart TV, DVD player with several DVDs and AM/FM radio! Note - cable/satellite not provided.

The houseboat is floating at a slip where tide fluctuates - therefore you may have to step down or up to enter the boat.
Please remember this is a boat and therefore water pressure is different then what you may be used to with the indoor plumbing in your home! As mentioned earlier you have access to several full bathrooms with private showers with hot water. Hot water does not flow on the boat sinks!
Split type ductless system provides Heat & AC on boat.
Please ask your host if pool is open during your stay, if the pool is important to you, as it is maintained by the Marina and not your host.

The Easy Times is a 44ft boat with spacious living area . There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Capt quarters has a king bed and full compact bathroom. The 2nd sleeping quarters has a custom bed sleeps 2 but please note not full reg mattress but custom to space. There is a 1/2 bathroom connected to 2nd BR. Living room does have pull out sofa as well. Fully equipped kitchen. Large smart tv in LR. Multiple decks and covered seating areas with amazing views.

While the boat is private to guests, there are public amenities as well. Large Marina bath house with showers and toilet facilities. (encourage to use these for long showers and private restrooms, the tanks on the boat are "marine size") There is also a nice community pool, gym and local favorite restaurant. Located next to the boat slip is a gazebo and picnic table with front row seating to Shallowbag bay. If that's not enough two complimentary kayaks and discounted Restaurant certificates to one of our famous local spots Sugar Creek Restaurant are included.

Please note shared amenities are managed by condo owners and association not your host. Pool open in season only. Restaurant and Marina store hours are posted and subject to change.

Free parking but not directly behind boat due to amazing location of boat. Tides change which effects boarding the boat there is a ramp for fluctuating tide.

Holding tank on boat is minimum, while running water, toilets, hot showers are provided on vessel the Marina bath house is preferred for longer showers and other toilet needs.

This vessel does not leave the boat slip during your stay. If considering a fishing trip, sunset cruise, or just a boat ride reach out to host for arrangement of a charter with our sister boat.

While the space is intentionally bachelor-oriented, couples & families (including pets) are welcome. It is a large and spacious private bedroom with hardwood floors and a Tempur-Pedic Cloud Luxe King size bed. Rustic and cozy decorations, with a window that allows natural light to fill the room. This historic home was the home of our local hometown hero, Mrs. Virginia Tillett. Virginia was an educator, community leader and longtime Dare County elected official. She served Dare County, its citizens and children in elected office, first on the Dare County Board of Education for 20 years and the Board of Commissioners for a dozen years. She will long be remembered for the passionate way she promoted education and for the life-changing impact she has had on generations of students and so many others in Dare County. Virginia was a sweet woman who cherished her family and loved Dare County in a special way. We invite you to come enjoy this special island and this historic, newly renovated home in the heart of Manteo.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of an owner's closet. There are no shared spaces inside the home or the yard. The only exception is that the driveway concrete is connected with the driveway concrete to the neighbor to the rear of the home.

Other things to note
- The home can accommodate multiple vehicles, if you have more than 4 vehicles please reach out to your host for specific parking instructions. We can accommodate boat and trailer parking, please reach out to the host prior to booking with specific information on size of your boat or your trailer.

- The stove and the fireplace are propane gas, see online listing house manual for use instructions. Make sure these are off at night prior to sleeping or when the home is not occupied.

-The bottom drawer of the oven is a broiler and gets hot. Do not store pots and pans in this drawer. Please see online listing house manual for operational instructions.

- Wood is not provided for the firepit, wood bundles are sold at the Piggly Wiggly a couple blocks away.

- There is a propane gas grill, propane is provided.

- Starter items for your stay: 3 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, dish soap + sponge, 5 trash bags, coffee + 6 Keurig pods (drip coffee pot + Keurig), sugar packets, creamers, coffee stir sticks, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, 5 dishwasher pods & 5 laundry pods

- There is a shared driveway with the neighboring house to the rear.

- The home's backup generator system does a weekly check around 11am every Sunday, you will not lose power but you may hear the system doing its checks for a few minutes.

- Hurricane season is June to November, please see Airbnb policy regarding weather events: "Weather events, natural conditions, and diseases that are excluded from our Extenuating Circumstances Policy" There will be no refunds related to weather events. If this concerns you I encourage you to purchase trip insurance. If our cleaners finish early, we’ll notify you as soon as the house is ready. However, early check-in is not guaranteed, and we’re unable to provide a specific time in advance.

★ CHECK-OUT: By 10 AM
To ensure the home is ready for the next guest, we are unable to accommodate late check-outs. Please note that our cleaners charge an infraction fee of $50 for every 15 minutes past 10 AM if they are required to wait for guests to depart.

Our lovely home , built in 1892 is located on Roanoke Island .
Just minutes from downtown Manteo. You can get there either on foot or on one of the bikes we provide.
Surrounded by trees and beautiful gardens , feel free to wander and listen to the birds sing.
You will be staying in an attached apartment behind our house.

The space
The apartment has one bedroom, living room, bathroom ( shower only) and an equipped kitchen. Due to local restrictions we can not have a stove. However we do supply a combo microwave, convection oven and air fryer, along with a hot water kettle, toaster, hot plate and out side grill. If anything else is needed we will gladly supply it.

Guest access
You will have the entire upstairs apartment to yourself., along with a private porch. You do have a private entrance with keypad entrance so you can gain entry anytime. Feel free to wander through our gardens.

Other things to note
This is an upstairs apartment so stairs will need to be used. We have two dogs, Polly our 18 year old beagle and Harper our poodle.They are both friendly and are with us at all times. We also have an outdoor cat that you may see.

This dockside camper with an outdoor shower is perfect for a couple or solo camper. Enjoy waking up to beautiful waterfront sunrises. The Mother Vine is the oldest native cultivated grapevine in America is a mile from camper. Only a 5 minute drive to Historic Downtown Manteo and about a 12 minute drive to ocean accesses in Nags Head. Dock rental for a boat or Jet Ski is an additional $35 per day.

Guest access
Guest are allowed to launch Kayaks from the dock or from the steps leading into Shallowbag Bay. Dock space for a boat is possible through Andy for an additional charge.
