Our single-family home is the perfect place to unwind after a fun-filled day in Virginia. Built in 2018, it offers 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The first-floor master bedroom is very convenient for older guests, and the large walk-in closet has been thoughtfully converted into a cozy kids’ room, complete with a portable crib and toys—ideal for families traveling with little ones.

The open-concept kitchen is perfect for family gatherings and spending time together. We’ve also added a backyard playground for children to enjoy, along with a water feature and firepit where adults can relax while keeping an eye on the kids.

Please be respectful of this and honor the quiet time of 10pm-6am.

You will have everything you need and if you should need a little more- literally around the corner and a block away are restaurants and shops that will provide! Within driving distance are many local gems- depending on your patate. We always 'Waze' and Google about an hour out, order take away, and enjoy in our VRBO. Walks near the water are near, and even a stroll through the surrounding neighborhood is relaxing. Beds are comfortable, the air conditioning system is easy; simply twist to the right and then to the desired setting to the left and two minutes later cool air will fill the room! As described in the listing, but with an added touch of a good 'feel' when you're actually settled in the house. We would stay again if we were in the area, and would refer this house to anyone in the area. There is plenty of parking off street- we were able to park directly in front of the house with spaces available a few spaces 'down'. An overall A+!"

- "It was a great stay at the Hilton Home. It is a well equipped little house, and perfect for our family of husband, wife, 6 year old, and 2 year old. The kitchen had everything we needed including but not limited to: keurig machine with pods/tea, toaster, blender, immersion blender, nice glass large and small plates and bowls, salt and pepper, lite olive oil, pots and pans, dish soap, hand towels, scotch-brite pad, and a full set of kitchen knives. The grass had been freshly mowed shortly before we arrived.There was absolutely no mustiness in the house. The water pressure in the upstairs bath was perfectly adequate. Conveniently located in Newport News, VA between Colonial Williamsburg and Virginia Beach, the Hilton Village neighborhood was built between 1918 and 1921 in response to the need for housing during World War I for employees of Newport News Shipbuilding. It is recognized as the United States' first Federal war-housing project.

The Camellia Cottage was built in 1919 and is 1500 square feet. Naturally, it will have a few quirks due to generations of family enjoyment. It is a beautiful property, and we hope that you embrace its character and charm during your visit.

In addition to short-term visits, we welcome mid- term stays! For traveling nurses, doctors, professionals, and your families, the cottage is minutes away from Riverside Regional Medical Center, Sentara Hospital, and Mary Immaculate Hospital. The cottage is also close to Ft. Eustis Army Base, Langley Airforce Base, and the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station. We are also in a very quiet neighborhood with a dedicated workspace. Special pricing is available for 7+ or 28 day stays.

The house has a large primary bedroom upstairs equipped with a queen and twin bed. The second bedroom upstairs has a queen bed. The full bathroom with a tub is also upstairs.

The eat-in kitchen is equipped with coffee/ tea supplies, spices, and everything you will need for a home-cooked meal. Additionally, there is a large dining room that is able to seat six guests for an elegant dinner together.

Also, downstairs is a lovely living room and sunroom. You can enjoy watching children playing and neighbors walking their dogs. There is a fireplace, so you can relax at night with heating and color-producing faux fire logs.

The third bedroom, which doubles as a family room, is downstairs and has a very comfortable sleeper sofa. This room includes a designated workspace and also exits to the outdoor patio for relaxing around the firepit, grilling, or enjoying what nature has to offer. We are still working on landscaping the backyard, so we request you look beyond any areas that have been seeded but have not yet begun growing grass.

The home, quaint neighborhood, and all that Hampton Roads has to offer will certainly have you coming back for more!
