*Childrens books, games, changing table, pack ‘n play, baby gate and more are included. Furniture is not anchored. Outlet covers are already on several outlets. We have not found a baby gate that works with our stairs. We usually block the downstairs with a bench if needed.
The top bunks have very low safety rails, these are best suited for older children*

*This house is full of antique furniture. Please treat it with respect. As with any old house, floors sag, but they have been reinforced. Cabinet doors may pop open due to unevenness. The walls are made of plaster, so they may appear cracked*
*Recent upgrades:
-The downstairs bath has new wood flooring from trees from our property, as well as the counter. The sink and toilet are also new.
-The laundry room has new LVT, and a new refrigerator.
-The kitchen has a new range.
-The living room has a brand new Lay Z Boy.
-The exterior got a new metal roof 2 years ago.

*You will hear nature…and probably a rooster. Along with being in nature, there will be spiders, insects, etc. Bug spray is available. We recommend keeping windows and doors shut. We do have routine pest control as well.*

*Security devices are located at the back door (video doorbell), inside our garages and chicken coop, and root cellar, facing the blueberry patch, and in the farm stand. There are none in the interior living spaces.*

*Only human waste and toilet paper in the toilets!! Use trash cans provided for everything else. No food, grease or oil down the drains.*

*We added a self serve farm stand at the end of our driveway that is open daily and stocked with fresh produce and baked goods. You may see cars pull in and purchase items. If this makes you uncomfortable, we can keep it closed during your stay.*

Nestled in a private cove on Kerr Lake, the Log Cabin is a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located in Clarksville, Virginia, the Log Cabin is just 1.5 hours from Raleigh, 2 hours from Richmond and 3 hours from Charlotte. It's a short drive, but you'll feel like you're a million miles away.

YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS
You'll enjoy views of the lake from nearly every room in the house, a sprawling deck, open floor plan and rustic furnishings. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, the Log Cabin sleeps 8 (3 queen, 2 twin beds and 2 lofted beds), but can accommodate a larger family with the use of 2 toddler cots, 1 pack 'n' play and a comfy sofa. Bathing towels and bedding are provided (please bring your own beach towels). Dining room seats 8. Kitchen is well equipped for a group of 8+. House has heat and air conditioning.

YOUR ITINERARY
Drink your morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise on the front porch glider. Take a run along the trails through the quaint neighborhood. Catch an impressive catfish or bass from the private dock. Soak up rays, dine alfresco and watch deer roam the 3-acre property from the expansive deck. Play tennis or basketball on the neighborhood court. Take a nap or watch the sunset in the comfy hammock. Cook the catch of the day on the gas grill. Roast hotdogs and marshmallows over the fire pit. Play games around the large dining room table. Watch movies in front of the gas fireplace.

WATER PLAY
Kerr Lake is a popular water sports destination with plenty of open water for skiing, wake boarding, tubing, etc. If you prefer a more relaxing water experience, the cove is the place to be. Swim in the calm waters around the dock or lounge on your float and enjoy the peaceful cove with heron, geese and ducks.

BOATING
Located on a calm cove, the U-shaped slip dock has room for three boats (or more). Put your boats in at Longwood Park (5 miles away) and visit Clarksville Marina (6 miles away) for all of your boating needs. Unlike many Kerry Lake properties, the Log Cabin has only a slight incline from the water to the house, making loading and unloading easy. If you have strong arms, the dock is accessible by both strollers and wheelchairs.

FISHING
The crappie, catfish, striper and bass are calling ... It's time to drop a line! The Log Cabin's private dock features a fish cleaning station with both power and running water. Bobcat's Bait & Tackle (4 miles away) has everything you need for a great fishing trip on Kerr Lake. No boat? No problem! Catch your dinner from the dock. The largest catch from the dock so far is a 32 pound catfish. Can you top that? Send us your photos from the dock!

SHORELINE FUN
If you prefer to stay onshore, you can take a short walk along the cove to the nearby peninsula. There is a sandy beach, great swimming area for kids, a picnic table, grill and horseshoes. The land along the shoreline is public property and great for exploring, fort building, frog catching and hide-and-go-seek. AREA With buildings dating back to 1889, Clarksville, Virginia has an old-fashioned feel to it. It's a small town with friendly locals who are happy to provide tips about the area. The downtown is just a 10 minute drive or short boat ride from the Log Cabin. You can tie up your boat at the public dock and explore Virginia's only lakeside town. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to explore as well as several grocery stores and fast food options. Looking for dinner to go? Call ahead - some restaurants will deliver to the dock!

- Dogs are welcome at the Log Cabin. A cleaning fee is required in addition to the standard cleaning fee.
- No cats or other animals are allowed inside the cabin.

Early in the morning, the Dads and kids all get up early to go on a guided canoe tour, meanwhile the Moms go to the Amish furniture factory a couple of towns over. The history buff in the family can make tour reservations at a local gem they have on their list - Prestwould Plan.tation. Prestwould is the most intact and best documented pre-Civil War plan.tation surviving in Southside Virginia. If golf is your game, there's Kinderton Country Club featuring a Donald Ross designed course just five minutes from Pine Landing.

Perhaps your whole family is all about the lake - imagine the fun your family can discover at Pine Landing. ABOUT THE HOUSE

The house has what we call the Main Level and the Cottage Level (which traces back to the house's history). In the 1950's after Kerr Lake was formed, just a summer cottage was on this land. Years later my family built a large house that incorporated the cottage into the plan, thus the Cottage Level and the Main Level.

The Main Level has all of the major parts of the home - living room, sitting area around the wood-burning fireplace (fireplace not available in the summertime), dining area, kitchen, screened porch, open porch with grill, laundry room, and a full bathroom in the hall. There are two bedrooms: the Main Master Bedroom, with en-suite, has a king-size bed, a 32' HDTV and DVD player, two closets, and French doors opening out to a deck with a lake view. The Main Second Bedroom also has a king-size bed, a 32' HDTV and DVD player, a large closet, and two dressers. Both of these rooms also have luggage stands to make unpacking easier.

The adults enjoy this Main level of the house. The living room boasts a wood burning fireplace (available when outside temperatures are 50 and below), the 72" Sony Bravia high definition TV coupled with the Sony Bravia home theater surround sound system, Amazon FireSticks for streaming TV, cloth and leather furniture. The kitchen is open concept allowing the cooks to remain involved with the action in the living room, or friends may join the cooks by sitting at the kitchen four-seat island.

About six steps down from the main living area you arrive on the Cottage Level in the sunroom which has plenty of seating, many books, and two sets of French doors that reveal an open, sunny deck with lounge chairs and end tables.

Off the sunroom, there is the entrance (with a door) to the cottage. You enter the cottage living room which has a large window looking out to the lake, plenty of seating, and a 42" HDTV with DVD. The kids can gather here - they have their own living room (that door comes in handy if they get too loud), three bedrooms and two full baths, and separate HVAC system. The showers in these rooms have pre-set temperature maximum control for added peace of mind.

The cottage master bedroom has a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom; the second bedroom also has a queen-size bed and en-suite, and the third bedroom – which is Pine's fifth bedroom - has two twin beds. The twin bedroom shares the bathroom of the second bedroom by entering a different door (think of a Jack & Jill bathroom). The couch in the cottage’s living room has a unique pull out bed that inflates by using a special electric air pump and is available to families with 11 or 12 people (the air pump is provided to you when you pick up the house keys).

ABOUT PARKING

There is plenty of parking for cars and trailers because there is a large, circular driveway, and there is a spur off leading to the additional parking area by the garage (sorry, the garage itself is not available for use).

Stillwater's is a beautiful 3 story, 2,973 square foot log home. The home is located on a cove with water views from all three levels. There is a 28' x 12' wood deck off the main level; A - frame glass wall, with picnic table/benches, lounge chairs, occasional tables, and grill. From the basement level, you terrace down to the lake to find a 13' X 28' WEST VIRGINIA FLAGSTONE PATIO WITH GLIDERS AND FIRE PIT! The ground level basement floor has a patio with table and chairs and a 7 PERSON HOT TUB!!!!

The cabin provides 4 bedrooms: 2 king beds - one king on main level with the second king on basement level, both beds have new Serta mattresses. The 2 queen beds are on the 3rd level. The main level king bed/bath has a claw foot tub and a shower. The ground level king bed/bath has a shower and there is a tub/shower bath on the 3rd level for the two queen bedrooms.

There is a 77" Samsung wall hung flat screen TV with surround sound system and sectional seating on the basement level. There is also a book and video library on the basement level. There is another flat screen TV in the loft with loveseat seating. There is also a library on this level. There are Starz, HBO and Cinemax channels on the Direct TV pkg.

- "Our family had a large gathering for a long weekend. Wow! What a house! Very clean and bright large bedrooms. Access to dock wasn’t too bad, there are a lot of steps, my elderly mother was able to do the stairs without much difficulty. We brought our own boat for pulling the kids on tubes and also rented a pontoon for some relaxation on the lake. We didn’t use the hot tub so can’t really speak for that. Overall, our group of 16 including children give this property two thumbs up. Owners were great to deal with and we did not have any issues during our 4 night stay. We will definitely book again."

The land around the dock is owned by the US Corps of Engineers and is public access. The dock is shared with one neighbor and for the use of registered guests only. The dock has space for you to bring your boat or rental boat. There is beach area at the water access in addition to the Shared Dock.

Right in Downtown Clarksville, and all the shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and Buggs Island Brewery. Clarksville is a Golf Cart friendly town! Ask about adding Big Blue to your rental to enjoy golf carting to the lake access and to Clarksville. There are many festivals and concert events, so check the Clarksville events for your rental timeframe.

The cabin is a 1100 square foot, 2-bedroom, 1-1/2 bathroom one-level home. The cozy retreat features 2 queen beds and futon couch that converts to a queen bed in a third small room. Central heating and AC keeps you comfortable no matter the season. There’s plenty of sitting area with a front porch, a back porch, and a 36-foot square partially covered patio with an oversized picnic table. There is a gas grill and a gas camp stove on the covered back porch. A firepit, charcoal grill, and hammock are on the patio.
The cottage is very private fronting 500 feet of shoreline and a grassy beach . We have a dock on the water for your boats or just for lounging.
Kerr Lake, also called Buggs Island Lake, is a great place for watersports, fishing, swimming, outdoor activities, or a quiet location to ponder life and listen to birds sing. The lake is a 57,000-acre freshwater impoundment on the Roanoke River with 800 miles of shoreline. The water is clean and used for drinking water reservoirs. Two state records for catfish were recorded here, and a healthy Bass and Panfish population thrive here along with Striped Bass. Five Virginia State Wildlife Management Areas surround the lake offering off-road driving, hiking and biking, hunting, and nature. The house is a 12-minute drive from the shops, dining and fun of Clarksville, Virginia’s only lake-front town!

IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS – Unfortunately, some GPS systems misguide you after you get into the community. Here’s the safest way to go:
Take U.S. 15 then turn on state route 858, Oak Hill Dr.
Turn off of 858/Oak Hill Dr. as you pass a line of mailboxes onto the gravel road, Powatan Rd.
Bear right on Powatan Rd. (past dumpsters) stay on this road and turn left on Pocahantas 50 feet after you pass Stuckanox Dr which has a nice street sign on a pole near the road. There is a home-made sign marking Pocahantas, but it is attached to a utility pole and is hard to see.
Continue on Pocahantas till you get to a 4-way intersection (about 600 feet). Please be careful at this intersection because what may look like a road going straight ahead (past no trespassing sign) is not a vehicle road, but an ATV path not suitable for vehicles – road may give way at a steep embankment. Take a left to stay on Pocahantas. Again, there are home-made signs on a tree that may not be obviously visible. Continue on this road till you come to the house. There is a turnaround in front of the house on Pocahantas La.
Please note that the dirt/grass road to the left when facing the house, is blocked by downed trees.
Other things to note
The house is in Oak Hills section of Clarksville. The community roads are privately maintained and are gravel or dirt. Roads to the house are in good shape but are narrow and steep. There are other unused roads in the community that require 4-wheel drive and skillful navigation due to mud, ruts and culverts.
The nearest boat ramp is Bluestone Creek Ramp, on U.S. 15, 2 miles southeast of the intersection of 858 (Oak Hill Rd) . It is operated by the Corps of Engineers and requires a $7 fee or yearly pass for $40.
The lake is used for flood management and the level may change gradually. The shoreline and the lake are owned by the Army Corps of Engineers. You will see red bands painted on trees to mark the boundary line. The public is free to use any of the Corps property, including the grassy beach down from our house. It is 400 feet from the house to the shore at mean water level, and 20-30 feet elevation change.
You will be in a wooded area near a large body of water. There are insects and please be alert when walking as turtles (emerging hatchlings in summer), snakes, rabbits, deer, etc. are common. On the lake keep in mind there are many bald eagles, osprey, hawks, even crows that may snatch your bait or food if it is exposed.

The space

Enter into an open concept living room and kitchen with lots of natural light and views of Buggs Island/Kerr Lake. The main bedroom has a king bed with a new luxury mattress. The second room features queen and twin beds with new luxury mattresses. The fourth bed is a queen sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen comes fully stocked with refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker and more. All you need to bring is your groceries! The full bathroom features a tub/shower combination and it’s stocked with a couple rolls of toilet paper, towels and toiletries.

If you’re staying in or working remotely, take advantage of the Wi-Fi and TV, or gather around the table to play a board game or work a puzzle. Just steps from the door, you’ll find the private dock and the beach area, which is usable when the lake is at normal levels (approximately 300’). Bring your own beach chairs to relax on the sand, or jump off the dock to cool down. If you bring a boat, tie up for those easy early morning blast offs. Spend your evenings by the firepit. There’s plenty of wood around, so grab some and roast some S’mores while overlooking the lake. The dock and beach are shared with the downstairs unit, Dockside Dreamz #1, so please be courteous to your neighbors. Guests have access to the entire upstairs unit, featuring two bedrooms and one full bath, kitchen, living room and deck. There is a new BBQ grill on the deck. Additional parking may be available; please contact host if more than two vehicles are needed. There are two fire pits on the property, one for each unit of the duplex. This property features motion lighting with exterior cameras on all four corners of the home, monitoring the parking area and back yard.

The rental is for large (75x15) second floor space (NO OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS) for your group only and is priced use (4hr, daytime or full day), not per person, making it very affordable and flexible for smaller groups. Our retreat is not handicapped accessible, there is a ramp but 15 steps up to 2nd floor
sewing/crafting area. With private rentals we don’t supply lessons or assistance with your projects, however, please feel free to bring your own speaker or arrange for class. Located on property that was once part of a plantation, come to recharge and relax at this tranquil location, while completing some UFO's, start a new project or learn a new skill. The space is also great for scrapbooking groups, jewelry makers, painters and people who need space to spread out while working on their projects.

There are crafting/sewing; entertainment and refreshment areas. You decide on the best temperature for the group using separate thermostat. In addition, movable fans, Keurig machine, microwave, mini-fridge and table with seating for 10, are in refreshment area. Host also supplies coffee, teas, cups, plates and utensils. We have extra tables as well, so it could accommodate more.

Entertainment area has a couch and daybed for seating. There is a large screen tv that you can use and Alexa devices to play music. Great area for some hand stitching, needlework, watching YouTube videos or just chilling out.

Crafting/Sewing area can be set up with separate tables for each person (max 8 or if people want to double up, 12); two cutting stations and ironing stations and two design wall areas. Depending on time of year, car shows in Oxford and car racing in South Boston, either one, about 30 minutes away. Virginia Raceway in Alton, is approximately 50 miles away.

Kerr Lake: cozy, super-cute cabin, w/private lake access in neighborhood less than half mile away. Upstairs bedroom, open LR/kitchenette, one bath, in rural VA. Two-burner cooktop & tiny oven (no dishwasher), plus w&d. King bed, plus a daybed w/pop-up trundle in loft; queen foldout sofa downstairs. Rural satellite wi-fi. Boat parking/fish cleaning station. Fenced in dog-run for well-behaved dog. Hammock, firepit & picnic table lakeside! Front porch for sunset and star viewing!

The space
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cozy, super cute and clean loft cabin on one acre, with private lake access half a mile down the road. One-bedroom stand-up loft, open living room/kitchenette floor plan, and one bathroom with shower - 700 sq. ft in rural Virginia.

There is a covered firepit out front facing the lake (across the street), and amazing sunset and star viewing from the front porch, with a small foldout futon for napping!

The house is basically equipped, and should have most of what you need. Shower, kitchenette (2-burner cooktop and tiny oven) as well as other minor appliances, plus a washer and dryer (no dishwasher!) and a large gas grill outside on the back deck.

Upstairs in the open loft, there is a king size bed, plus a daybed with a trundle that can be used as two twins or pushed together for another king size bed. And there is a comfortable queen size fold out couch downstairs.

We have a tiny waterfront area a short, but hilly walk, (about .5 mile) from the house with a picnic table and second firepit. There is a map at the house showing our deeded lakeside peninsula spot on the right and it is marked with a red rock. There is also a small place to "parallel" park in the woods right in front of our spot. Our lakefront space has amazing water views and is perfect for hanging out at the picnic table for games or journaling, or in a hammock with your book. It is spectacular. It does have a steep bank, so you cannot step directly into the water’s edge from there, but if you go down the peninsula path just a little past our spot (a few hundred yards), there is a flat area where you can get into the water easily to swim or put in the kayaks, located just after the last dock on the left-hand side of the peninsula.

There are dozens of boat put-ins near us with a variety of amenities. But we have two small facilities right nearby (Ivy Hill and Island Creek Parks), both just about a mile or two away, with walking trails, pavilion, dock and a tiny beach area.

At the house, we have a large parking area for your boat and a fish cleaning station for your big catch!

There are tons of great hiking trails and parks around the area, beautiful water views, eagles, egrets, loons, owls and wild turkeys. Occaneechi State park is beautiful and expansive with great hiking! There are a couple of cute downtown areas within 15-30 minutes; a small, but good bakery in Clarksville (the nearest town – 15 minutes away), one good local brewery and a pizza joint, and there is one grocery and drug store in town. We usually stop in a larger town on our way there to stock up before we get to the house. It gets really dark at night, no streetlights, so you will want to be careful driving and watch for deer.

It's important to note that the lake is across the street from our home. You can see small glimpses of it through the trees and it has great sunsets. We DO have private lake access on our neighborhood peninsula, where we keep the kayaks and you can hang out waterfront. You are allowed to use the kayaks at your own risk. We do provide lifejackets.

You are welcome to bring your well-behaved dog. We have a fenced in dog-run off the back porch, and dog/child gates on both porches. We do ask that you clean up after them in the yard, and keep them off the furniture, if you leave the dog on its own please crate him/her while you are away. There is a crate and dog-bed you can use.

Please do not clean your fish in the house. We provide an outdoor fish cleaning station with a hose that can be connected to the outdoor well pump for cleaning your big catch.

Please NO smoking inside the home.

Because it's rural, we do not have trash pick-up, so you will need to take trash and recycling to the county center. It's close by, just over a mile, and there is a map and instructions at the house.

It is a small community and we have folks neighboring us, but not on top of you. They are warm and friendly and important to us, so please be respectful, and limit noise between 9pm-9am.

One of the oldest residences in Clarksville, the house dates back to the 1800's. We purchased it in 2019 and have lovingly renovated the space and returned it to its former glory.

Party in Slow Motion is a 3 Bedroom 1 Bathroom beautifully decorated lake cottage with views of Buggs Island/Kerr Lake sits on a cove with large private slip dock. The lake access is within view of the home, and an easy walk and there are two kayaks for your use.

Families, group of friends, group of fishermen will all find a nicely equipped cottage with high-speed Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Right in the heart of Clarksville, and easy to enjoy all that Clarksville has to offer.

The space
The cottage has 3 queen beds and 1 bathroom with double sink. Each bedroom and the family room have a TV with Roku for access to streaming. Bathroom 1 has a newly tiled shower stall with a glass door.
The kitchen has all you need to cook dinner for your lake crew and enjoy the Lake Life. The dining room table has a hidden leaf to expand and extra chairs in the bedrooms that can be used at the table.

The covered patio has two tables with chairs for outdoor dining. It also has a TV and a charcoal grill. The patio has views of the lake cove, both bridges over the Lake.

Yard is big enough for any games you want to enjoy, and plenty of parking. We have a firepit for your use as well, and firewood is available locally.

The Shared Boat Dock, and Corps of Engineers Land
The land around the dock is owned by the US Corps of Engineers and is public access. The dock is private and for the use of registered guests only. The dock has space for you to bring your boat or rental boat. There is beach area at the water access in addition to the Shared Dock.

The space
5 miles from the closest town of Clarksville, VA... you can find the ultimate in rest, relaxation, and fun. If you are not interested in the quiet life, there are lots of fish to catch, tournaments to participate in, skiing, boating, tubing, canoeing, swimming, corn hole, etc...

The home is located down a secluded 1 mile dirt road that is easily accessible with a flat entrance from the driveway to inside. There are no steps to entry and hand railings on both sides of approach.

Our home/dock is located off the main channel of the lake by a few minutes. The dock is 18 feet wide and 12 feet long. Both of the 12 foot sides have boat cleats on them. The lake level is usually about 300 feet deep. At this depth our dock sits in about 10 feet of water.

Boat traffic is minimal and the water is usually very smooth. My daughter’s favorite time to ski is after dinner when it is like glass and the sun is setting.

Float around the point in our floaties, or sit in the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. Kayak around the cove looking for beavers, eagle and heron nests. Or bring your jet skis and enjoy the placid waters!

Wooden docks when water is high, sandy beaches when water is low. Gorgeous Trex deck along the whole back of the house to take in the views. Lovely large cove with a view to the main channel. We are near the water and trees, so pack bug spray and bring water shoes.

The space
Cherokee Chalet is nestled in the trees, you’ll find it easy to birdwatch while you enjoy nature on the back porch. Cherokee is an excellent base camp for fishermen. It’s conveniently located in the middle of Kerr reservoir and only a 5-minute drive to the Ivy Hill and Island Creek boat launches. Bobcat’s bait and tackle hosts tournaments all year long and is only a 15-minute drive from the property. The home has a large gravel driveway that can accommodate several boats and cars. Park your boat at our private dock. located a short walk from the home. We have lots of Wildlife Management Areas and State parks nearby that offer great hunting and hiking opportunities.
Cherokee Chalet has 2 bedrooms, 1 loft and 1 bathroom. One bedroom has a single queen bed, the other has an extra-large full bed and bunk beds. The loft has a single queen.

Guests have access to the entire house.
Our dock (# 5160) is located on a community peninsula a short walk away. Take Cherokee trail to Comanche drive. Turn right. Walk a few hundred yards and you'll see a red deer skull marking the entrance to our dock area. Stay to the left and follow the red. There is a set of blue metal stairs that lead down to the dock.

Other things to note
Enter the loft at your own risk. The stairs are sturdy but a bit steep. Use caution going up and down.

The space
A beautiful kitchen offers beautiful lake views with an oversized island and offers everything you need to feel like you’re in a home away from home—including a well appointed coffee bar (Keurig and regular coffee pot), air fryer, toaster, crock pot, waffle iron, and so much more.

Our dining area has sliding glass doors and the best lake views and offers ample seating to enjoy family meals inside (or out).

Our living room offers an oversized TV, Direct TV and Wi-Fi, along with an oversized sofa and a full sized sleep sofa. The house offers extra bed linens for both.

The themed Red, White and Bluestone suite offers fun decor, a King Sized bed, walk-in closet and an extra large in-suite bath with an oversized soaking tub, separate shower and double vanity.

Our themed Lake View room offers beautiful lake views, lake decor, two Twin XL beds, kids items and is just steps away from the second full bath.

Our cheeky themed Guest Room features a Queen sized bed, a bookcase full of books and is next to the second full bath.

There is a grill located near the patio that’s perfect for beautiful nights when you want to grill out with friends and family, while looking at the lake.

The spacious back deck, Adirondack chair patio or bonus shed deck offer various seating options and amazing lake views and are the perfect place to start your day with a warm cup of coffee while you enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature!

After spending a day out on the lake or exploring Clarksville, we welcome you to enjoy the quiet serenity of the back porch deck with comfy chairs and glistening bistro lights to relax and breathe in the fresh air and look at the beautiful lake views while relaxing in our many seating options and areas located outside! You can can even create your own seating oasis with the beach chairs provided.

Red, White and Bluestone also offers a fire pit for late night chats while you roast hot dogs or make S’mores with the provided roasting sticks or warm up on cooler nights.

Lets not forget what all this town has to offer! The heart of Clarksville is just a short 5 minute drive and offers a large assortment of shops, restaurants and our amazing Buggs Island Brewery. We are also located within a short drive to several wineries. Our house directory and guidebook provides a multitude of recommendations you won’t want to miss!

Guests have access to the entire home including the deck & dock and a shared beach (when water levels are within normal ranges.

There is a gentle sloping path to the lake that is on or property, but the path is shared with our lake neighbors and they may use it for golf carts. You are also welcome to bring your own golf cart.

Guests also have access to the shed, which houses beach chairs, games, fishing equipment, exercise equipment, coolers and more!

There is also access to a pedal boat and four kayaks.

Guests also have access to a basketball net across the road (Vaughan Lane)

Other things to note
This home is packed full of outdoor activities! Along with the grill, fire pit, dock and the beach, enjoy use of a pedal boat, four kayaks, fishing poles & equipment, assorted floats, beach cart, corn hole, badminton, a large assortment of sports balls (including access to a basketball net), an exercise equipment tub and an outdoor chess/checkers table.

If you plan to bring a boat and enjoy the lake, you are able to travel by water to the heart of downtown Clarksville! Hungry? No Problem! Dock your vessel and hop right off in the center of all Clarksville has to offer!

You will have access to the entire house and property, private dock below on the lake, and fire pit. Guests may request access to the pedal boat, paddle boards, and canoe (so we can make sure they are in great condition and ready for you). The garage will be locked and for use by owner only. The locked owners supply closet inside the home will not be accessible by guest.

The deck facing the cove has two large tables for 6 for outside dining and a fire pit. The property does not have a dock, but pontoon and jet ski rentals are available in Clarksville.

Cats not allowed. We limit pets to 2 small dogs under 30 pounds, no puppies, and we do not allow pets to be left in our space unattended in the space. Please pick up any dog poop in the yard. Welcome to Kerr Lake/Buggs Island where you will enjoy this beautifully newly remodeled/renovated 4 BR waterfront air-conditioned/heated lake waterfront home located in a quiet residential community with amazing lake views from almost every room in the house.

You have all the comforts of home but with million-dollar views and access to the entire home and the private dock!

Private Boat Dock- Enjoy your own private dock/boat house with deep water for fishing and swimming. This is a highly coveted fishing spot, and we are very close to the public boat ramp.
If you're thinking of bringing your boat or renting a boat, then we have the dock where you can keep your boat secure.
If you catch the "big one" we have a fish cleaning station for your convenience. A kayak is provided for your enjoyment as well.

Yard-We have almost an acre of space set up for families in mind. There is plenty of room for corn hole game or any other favorite summer activities. We have a firepit area, outdoor dining and a grilling station to grill your favorite summer meals.

Mini deck area- We have a swing with amazing view of the lake. The swing turns into a futon bed for peaceful afternoon naps or read a good book. We have plenty of great books for you to choose from.

UPSTAIRS AREAS:

Game room- Have a blast playing ping pong, air hockey and foos ball along with many board games.

Sunroom- Enjoy stunning views of the lake with your morning coffee. You can watch all the fishermen coming under the bridge after launching into the water in the nearby public boat launch. You can also watch the blue heron fly by and we have occasionally seen the bald eagle.

Deck- The upper deck porch also has the majestic lake views where you can relax or enjoy a meal outside. Morning coffee or stargazing in the evening is amazing. Take a nap in the hammock.

Family room- During your downtime, you can relax on our Italian leather sofa and watch TV on the 60" smart TV with Roku. Or sip wine in front of the gas log fireplace while relaxing in our two swivel rocker chairs. There is also a round table to play games on or eat a snack while watching your favorite show! This table area is also great for a working space with lake views.

Kitchen- Fully loaded kitchen with new gas stove, microwave and dishwasher. Refrigerator with ice maker has plenty of room for all the family favorites.
We stocked the kitchen with everything we think you would need. Some of the items include-- Spices, crock pot, toaster, blender, waffle maker, quesadilla maker, knife set, flatware, pizza pan, wine/liquor glasses, pots and pans, egg cooker, hand mixer, coffee maker, Keurig maker, cappuccino machine and my favorite homemade ice cream maker!

Dining- From the kitchen table that seats 6 you have more amazing views of the lake. Or just relax in the corner club chair and read the morning news and sip your favorite coffee.

UPSTAIRS AREA BEDROOMS:
Why should the main guests have the best amenities? We have no cramped rooms packed with multiple beds.

Bedroom- Guests will enjoy a cozy night's sleep in a comfortable king-sized bed with a bathroom right across the hall. Plenty of furniture for storage and a large closet. Also, their own smart TV with Roku.

Bedroom- Kids favorite room with a set of bunk beds and a twin trundle bed.
Chest dresser and bunk bed with drawers.
Enough room to play in their room for quiet time.

Master Bedroom 1- Enjoy a comfortable king-sized bed with stunning lake views!! Sun-filled room with furniture and large closet and your own smart TV with Roku. The bathroom is attached to the room for your convenience and privacy.

DOWNSTAIRS:
Second family room- There is another flex space/bonus room to enjoy with lake views! This could be a great area for the kids with large smart TV with Roku and DVD player. Plenty of DVDs to choose from or bring your favorites!

Walk outside the family room to a small patio area and the screened porch.
There is also a clothesline to hang all your wet beach towels and bathing suits to dry for the next day's fun adventures.

Screened porch- Another space to relax with plenty of seating and a table to eat or enjoy summer card/board games.

Master bedroom 2- Well-appointed with a comfortable king-sized bed and more stunning lake views! Plenty of storage and large closet. Relax in the rocking chair and look at the views! Also equipped with a smart TV with Roku.

Downstairs bathroom- nice bathroom adjoining the master bedroom. There is a door that closes off the bathroom and bedroom area for complete privacy or share the bathroom with the bonus room area if you wish.
