Nancy's Beach House is a charming getaway with private entrance, outside deck and patio amongst beautiful mature gardens. We are located minutes from Monticello, James Monroe's Highland and several wineries. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and all the comforts of home. It was originally decorated as a beach house because Nancy felt a beach vibe upon seeing the openness and ambiance of the space. In keeping with the beach house vacation feel, there are games, puzzles and music for you to enjoy.

The space
The house is a duplex and the host lives in the other apartment. There is an extra thick wall between the apartments so noise is rarely a problem. This is an old house in the country and the gardens have a wide variety of trees, shrubs and perennials. If you have asthma, allergies or immune deficiencies then this may not be the place for you.

Welcome to our newly renovated, basement studio apartment! This space has a bright, beachy feel in the heart of Charlottesville. We are 0.8 miles to UVA Medical Center and 0.5 miles to UVA. Looking for longer-term rentals(travel nurses with 13 week contracts or graduate students). 1 week minimum.

The space
This apartment has a spacious kitchen, two-person table, upgraded bathroom, futon couch sitting area, roku TV, and queen sized bed. Has a private entrance on the back of our home as well. We would love to have you!

Access to space is provided through private fenced in yard, with a separate sub-grade basement entrance. Parking is provided on the adjacent streets with a short 2-3 minute walk to the studio entrance.

Other things to note
There is high-speed internet through Ting provided. We do not have an oven, dishwasher, or washer/dryer in the unit. We can discuss sharing a washer and dryer once booking has taken place!


We also have two toddlers and dog upstairs, but noise-canceling insulation was added to the basement to help with that. We will also be as respectful and quiet as possible!
