We built our forever home on one acre in the lovely town of Crozet! We met while attending the University of Virginia and we got married and lived in Charlottesville after graduating. We spend a lot of time in the nearby area of Afton along Route 151 going on hikes, visiting the local breweries and vineyards - all the things we recommend to our guests to do! We not only own the spaces that we rent out to our amazing guests but we spend time in those spaces as a family. We built and remodeled our properties and take a lot of pride in them to attract our guests to our little slice of heaven in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We live with our children and two Irish Doodles (Blue & Ridge) adjacent to The Barn at Haden in our farmhouse.

Downtown Crozet is less than 1/2 mile (walkable with sidewalks the entire way) with many options for food and activities to choose. With a sidewalk accessed community and neighborhood around us it is easy to go out the door for a jog in the neighborhood or a stroll or bike downtown (bike lanes accessible but bikes are not provided). The Barn at Haden is located in a suburban neighborhood at the end of a dead-end street.

Guests will have access to the entire apartment that offers free high speed internet via WIFI. There is an assigned parking spot in the driveway for guests and if traveling with more than one vehicle, we do have additional off street parking areas in our driveway.

Please indicate if you do not need the 2nd bedroom set up as a bedroom. It will always be set up as a bedroom unless you inform us a week prior to your stay if you would not like the 2nd bed to be set up if you intend on using that room differently or want it open.

There is a unique code to access the front door lock. You will receive your custom code that will be good for the duration of your stay. There is no need for us to meet you to let you in and you can arrive/depart whenever you would like to. Our primary home is on the property. There is an open breezeway that connect our primary home to this space. You will see us coming and going and sometimes activity going on in the driveway. This is not a remote location. It is in a suburban neighborhood. It is located on a dead end street and vehicle traffic is very minimal.

There are two studio loft apartments on the second level of our building. The ground level is commercial space occupied by our real estate office, Stevens & Company. There are 21 fairly steep steps to the second level.

The second level was once a toy store and was renovated in 2005 into two apartments. Our studio apartment features an open living area separated into sitting area with sofa and comfy chair and sleeping area with queen-size bed. There is a wide-screen HDTV with Comcast Xfinity and local channels and wireless high-speed internet.

The full kitchen is open to the rest of the apartment and features a full-size refrigerator, stove and microwave. Stocked with dishes, glasses and cookware.

There is a full bath with stand-up shower. Towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided.

The building is a very short distance from the train tracks that pass through Crozet.

Spacious remodeled 1906 traditional farmhouse on a fenced acre of private sanctuary located a short walk from downtown Crozet (galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, yoga). A short drive to hiking, orchards, vineyards, and breweries. 20 mins to Charlottesville (UVA Hospital, Monticello.) Max 3 pairs of people and an additional child. We offer our home to groups that can use the layout we have: a King, a Queen, and either the floor futon in the boys room or the pullout sofa double in the study, plus any pack-and-play you need for infants. Our studio apartment circa 1920 with soaring 12-foot original pressed tin ceilings and mountain views is conveniently located right in the village of Crozet. It comfortably fits two with a queen-size bed, sitting area, full kitchen and full bath. Full-time vacation rental on The Square in Crozet (very close to railroad tracks).

- "Great communication w manager, super clean and comfortable. Our family rented 3 of the 4 units on this floor for a family wedding held nearby and we all found it very comfortable. In fact, we found the beds so comfortable we clamored to purchase the mattresses (I love mine!). Close to a breakfast restaurant (terrible service there!) and a cute coffee shop. I recommend this place wholeheartedly. I would book again if I wanted to visit for hiking in the Shenandoahs of had another reason to be in the area (looking at you UVA visitors!).
