- "This property was not just as described but even better. The property is somewhat remote (which is part of its charm) and has large pastures and forestry all around it. Which again is so great to just sit on the hanging swings and enjoy. A buddy of mine from the military met up for the first time in 20 years here and it is exactly what we both needed. A chance to relax and chill out on a quiet environment. He has four kids and 2 grandkids and needed a get away. I needed a get away from work desperately. We both got exactly what we needed. The communication with the property owner was nothing short of outstanding which is sick a comfort and seldom happens. She made things very easy and was very informative when I asked questions. This alone would lead me to recommend this property. I highly encourage anyone, regardless of the reason they want to get away, to consider this property. The town which is about 10 minutes away is really neat and has some fast food, other cafes and grocery stores. A little black just a couple miles away called BBs was perfect for lunch - don’t let the exterior fool you. The food was great - hamburgers, chili dogs, BLTs! This is a place I will be returning to often now that I have found it. I travel extensively and this would be one of my highest rated locations I have stayed at.
