There is tons of space and privacy, a beautiful dock in the best cove on the lake, absolutely adorable interior and a GREAT back porch with a view of Lake Wateree. We are already picking dates for our next trip. The owners and the rental manager are so nice and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful Memorial Day week!!! We can’t wait to come back! First, if you plan to trailer a boat down, we would advise taking it to landing first and NOT down to the cabin. Turning around was not an easy process even with our modest 18’ foot boat. Second, there are cameras around the outside of the house. We understand the “why” of that but did not recall seeing it in the listing so it took a bit of getting used to. We’ll definitely consider staying again and would absolutely recommend it."

Loved everything about it." - "Excellent place to stay" - "We basically just slept there because we were attending a weekend seminar at Nosoca Pines Ranch which was just 15 minutes away. It was a very nice little house. Pam, the owner, was very sweet. She called me the day before to tell us how to get in the house and give us a few tips about it. The ladder up to the loft, where the king bed was, was a bit difficult. My husband slept downstairs on the couch, which was very comfortable, because he didn’t want to be going up and down the ladder at night to get to the bathroom. I slept on the king bed which was very comfort-able also. The kitchen was very nice and everything was clean and new."

Nestled among pines and hardwoods and bordered by a lush green side yard lined with hydrangeas, the garden cottage is a private and cozy home situated on a larger estate in historic Camden. The Main room with vaulted ceilings encompasses a full kitchen and living room with comfortable furnishings and designer touches. The kitchen with stainless appliances features a beautiful farm sink and four-panel window that floods the room with natural light. The main bedroom, separated from the living area with sliding glass privacy doors, features a queen-size bed, a spacious full bath, and a glass shower. The second bedroom off the living room features a trundle-style bed for additional sleeping accommodations and a separate laundry room.

From towels just for make up removal to spices and cooking supplies, you will feel pampered. It was still a little cold in March to spend much time outdoors, but the garden is beautiful. Thank goodness a video is sent with how to find it as it is tucked away behind a nice neighborhood. However, it’s very close to downtown and the revolutionary war site. My mom and I had a great stay."

Gorgeous sunsets on a 25 acre horse farm in a peaceful country setting. This 96 year old home was once owned by the DuPont Family (yes that DuPont family). In fact they even built race cars in the 4 car garage. House is large and offers many amenities. The grounds offer a park like setting with grand old trees and original brick silos. There are 12 stables and 7 paddocks for rent at an additional charge, so if you are in town for a horse show or just passing through with your equine pal, this is the place for you!
The house has 5 fire places, 13 foot ceilings, some of which are coffered. There are and 3 living spaces so there is a place to read, watch TV or even catch a nap. An in ground pool and fully fenced yard offer fun and room to explore for kids and fur babies alike.
In the backyard there is a mature pear tree which produces fruit in the summer, hence the name.
Country setting but 15 minutes from historic Camden and the equine facility where the Carolina Cup is held. 40 minutes from Columbia and and 30 minutes from Shaw Air Force Base. See u soon!!

LAKE WATEREE: Over 20 square miles and 200 miles of shoreline! Typically a beach-entry type lake depending on the water levels. We also overlook one of Wateree's islands, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask).

WATER TOYS: Guests have access to 1 kayak and 1 paddle board, but also the potential to share water toys with our three adjacent lake houses (each has a couple water toys that are shared frequently).
