The room was not kept up and not cleaned properly. The service in the restaurant was somewhat slow and not many items were available. I didn't like that I had to drop a key at the desk to have my room cleaned as I was told I had the only key. Problem is that I had to contact the office if I was to return later than they were open to make arrangements for my key. I think that communication was lacking this time. If I knew the policy, it might have been smoother. I think the service in the restaurant was lacking, Again, if short staffed, they should have said something, If I noticed a problem, nothing was addressed until I brought it up. If you know you have a problem with something on your property, and it could affect your guests, address it up front with the guest. I shouldn't have to ask about something 2 and 3 times to finally get it resolved. The property is a beautiful property with beautiful grounds in a very convenient location. I returned because of the wonderful experience I had a few years ago. I stayed for 2 weeks this time. Everyone is very nice on the property. It is just that I expected a different level of service that I received. I was not as thrilled this time as in the past. "

Our two signature huts are fusion of the native and modern bahay kubo in varying frames and designs, with locally-sourced materials for a serene nature glamping experience.

1. The CABANA HUT is a red and elevated hut with a square frame and glass windows which has a view of the lake and the sunset.

2. The LAKESIDE HUT is a white hut on stilts with glass panels and sliding door, and a front porch. It is situated near lakeside and at the center of the island (near the CR/Shower hut and Kitchen/Dining Hut).

*Each hut has a one double-sized mattress on a bamboo bed frame that can accommodate 2 persons. With an extra floor mattress for another 2 pax, a solar ceiling light, and a solar fan (with usb port for CP charging)

3. Nipa Hut - a traditional bahay kubo with 1 room, dining area and sink. The room has a bunk bed that can accommodate 3-4 persons, and solar ceiling light.

Cleanliness must be maintained. Kindly practice the “CLAYGO” or Clean As You Go.

The island is a glamping site, and not a resort with adequate staff and with hotel-like accommodation and amenities. Yet, we do have an in-house caretaker who provides assistance to guests, kindly offer a service fee/tip to our caretaker for some assistance rendered (minimum of 300 pesos).

OTHER IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
*Guests should bring and/or cook their own food and rice, condiments and extra cooler. Stock up on tube ice, drinks (beer, soda, liquor/wine), charcoal.
*Guests should bring their own set of personal utensils such as reusable spoons and forks, and glasses.
*Bonfire prep and lighting must only be done at the bonfire area, with assistance from the caretaker from 8PM-10PM only (not available during rainy weather).
***Guests are welcome to bring their own set of firewood.
*Guests are NOT allowed to light up any wood or cut up tree branches as they please, or set up a bonfire in any other areas.
*Use of life vest during lake swimming and kayaking is a must! There is NO lifeguard on duty. DO NOT go swimming or kayaking alone, and in far areas from the island.
*For your safety, swimming, kayaking and boat ride are NOT allowed at night.
*DO NOT leave the kayaks and paddles along the shoreline. After using it, return it properly and immediately to the area where you got them.
*Please CONSERVE the use of solar power especially at night. Kindly turn off the lights on some areas (CR/Sink/porch/huts/kitchen) and fans, whenever someone will not use it. This is for your convenience especially at night up to early morning's solar energy usage.

* The Caretaker's Hut (in between the Tee-Pee and the Cabana Huts) is the exclusive hut for our caretaker and his family. Our caretaker, together with his wife and children, lives on the island. They will respect your privacy and will be of any assistance until 9PM. Respect their privacy as well by letting them rest by 9PM. Should urgent matters arise beyond that time, you may approach them on their private hut.

About this space
Kalahi Lakeshore Camp is a mountain lake island good for family or barkada bonding. We have two cozy cabins built on top of the hill that can comfortably accommodate up to 15 persons .

The most wanted activities in the camp are kayaking, fishing, lake swimming , cliff jumping and bonfire. Two(2)rustic but cozy cabins are uphill and semi exclusive. All Yours with 24/7 electricity, wifi and videoke. All amenities are free.

How to get in our Camp
Three (3) hours away from Manila, we are located in Cavinti, Laguna, the Glamping Capital of the Philippines.
Our island is private, it sits on 1.3 hectare of land. We only
accommodate two groups of guests at a time. Guests can enjoy the island and the facilities with no extra charges.

We are surrounded by Sierra lake also known as Lumot Lake. Our guests
may reach our island via a 15 minute ride from the boat station in
Barangay Lumot , the boat fee is Php 1K for 10 persons, Php 1,200 for 11-15 persons round trip. The boat capacity is 15 persons. Boat fee is payable to the boatman.

station (Php 200 per vehicle per night payable to parking owner).

Cabin Accommodation
Although, we are in an island but we are ON GRID. We have 24 hours
electricity, stable internet signal and strong water for a comfortable
stay.

Our cabins impressed our guests as they were designed for comfort
and elegance. On your veranda, you can view the enchanting lake ,
lush greeneries and romantic sunset .

From the boat landing, our guests will take a 3 to 5 minutes uphill walk to
their cabins . Two cozy cabins await our guests.

Each cabin has 2 bedrooms. Bed linens, blankets and floor mattresses
are provided. The cabins are well ventilated and temperature in Cavinti
is naturally cool so aircon is not needed. However, there are fans in the
cabins for use.

Our place is perfect for family or group seeking to unwind and relax
their tired mind and body away from the city stress and pollution.

The payment listed here is for 12 persons minimum cabin capacity. If
you are more than 12 an additional charge of Php 600 per head will be
added .

How does it look like living in our camp?
Imagine you are camping in the woods but instead of sleeping in tents, you will be staying in cozy cabins with lights, fans and wifi (Cool, right?). Yes you will cook your own food, so you need to bring a cooler with plenty of ice and your food enough for your stay. There is no store in the camp, so be sure you do not forget to buy your ingredients.
No need to bring cooking equipment or utensils, they are already provided.

Guest access
Our island is accessible by a boat . Guests leave their cars in our safe parking lot in front of the Immaculate Concepcion Chapel in Brgy Lumot.

At the parking lot, our boatman (Mang Wilson) will bring you in our camp. You will be treated to a 15 minute boat cruise in Sierra Lake , be sure to ready your phone for your Tiktok, FB or IG reels.

Lake- is accessible to the guests until 6 pm. Guests can enjoy swimming, fishing and kayaking and cliff jumping.

Bonfire pit - is set up at night, guests can enjoy the night here, stargazing over barbeque, hotdogs or s'more and their favorite drinks .

Jogging path- health buffs can do their morning exercise and jogging in the camp. Guests can enjoy lakeside brisk walking or jogging in our pathway.

Kitchen- free use of kitchen and dining utensils

Comfort rooms- each cabin has its own toilet and bath and we have an extra full toilet and bath and 1 CR for common use.

Water Amenities- Use of Kayaks, paddles , life vests and aqua pads is free

Other things to note :
Our rate is only for 12 pax but we can accommodate up to 15 guests at a time. In excess of the 12 guests, Php 600 per head shall be paid.

Please Note:
There is a short stair climb going to the cabins. This might be challenging for senior citizens or those with mobility issues. Our docking area is cemented, stairs are concreted with safety hand rails, and we made them accessible as possible to accommodate our senior guests.

MY HOME Transient house offers accommodations in San Pablo, 5.1 miles from Villa Escudero Museum and 27 miles from People's Park in the Sky. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Picnic Grove is 29 miles from the guest house, and Pagsanjan Falls is 30 miles away. All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. A fridge and kitchenware are also provided, as well as a kettle. At the guest house, every unit has bed linen and towels.
