We found this large Japanese-style family home and made it into the friendliest place to stay in Matsumoto!
All of our guest rooms have “tatami” straw mats flooring. They smell great and are warmer than other types of flooring. Futon “beds” are thick mattresses placed directly on the floor.
MBP serves as the ideal base for the local area, whether visiting Matsumoto Castle, hiking in the North Alps or just kicking back from a hectic Tokyo schedule.
We cater for anyone who wishes for a comfortable bed and the chance to share stories with other travellers.
