This 624 sq ft cabin comfortably accommodates 2 people, with one queen size bed and a sofa bed in the living room. The cabin is fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, indoor wood-burning fireplace, wi-fi internet, and a smart TV.

You can enjoy the beautiful views and sounds of the Cypress Hills from the deck, or explore the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park and nearby lakes.

The house is on a private 2 acres of land, directly bordered by Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park to the West and South and the Highway 41 to the East. It is a comfortable space that offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. Enjoy the warmth of the indoor wood-burning fireplace, the natural light from the big windows, and the spacious deck with panoramic views of the sky, stars and landscape. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way, shooting stars, and maybe even the Northern Lights.

This space has wi-fi internet and a Roku smart TV so you can binge your favourite shows, or you can curl up and read the newest book release next to a cozy fire in the wood-burning fireplace. There is a full kitchen that has a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, air fryer and microwave. Other kitchen necessities include pots/pans, spices, and a traditional coffee maker (or a french press) to accompany our complimentary coffee, tea assortment, and hot chocolate. All of the water available inside the home is purified through a rigorous reverse-osmosis and UV-light system, so you don't need to bring any with you.

The cabin features one private bedroom with a queen bed, one spare room to set up a 31"x75" cot if needed, and a pull-out sofa if you doze off while watching a show. The full bathroom has a shower only.

The cabin is heated from a conventional central furnace controlled by a digital, easy-to-use, wall-mounted thermostat. The wood fireplace can be used to make the cabin extra toasty inside.

The outdoor space features a large, south facing deck that is perfect for morning yoga, or for stargazing on a cloudless night. There is an outdoor firepit, adirondack chairs, and a picnic table for your outdoor lounging and dining. We supply some firewood to start you off, but if you like a big outdoor fire, please bring your own firewood, or you can purchase firewood from the nearby Elkwater townsite during the camping season.

In spring and winter, it’s best if your vehicle has 4 wheel or all wheel drive, as the driveway slope can be a little challenging without them.

Besides the resident owl, some visitors include other bird and deer traversing the property. During the summertime, there may be cows grazing in the field West and South of the property. They are early risers and like to let the world know that.

We have 3 security cameras on the property for security purposes.
1 on the shop facing East monitoring the driveway and gate. 1 on the residence facing North monitoring the sidewalk. 1 on the residence facing West that monitors the front door. They record video and audio but will not be monitored during your stay.

The detached shop to the north of the cabin is locked for the owners' private use.

We welcome dogs as we know they are part of the family! We can only welcome dogs at this time due to owner allergies to other animals. We provide 2 clean, dog food dishes, 1 water dish, some poop bags and blankets to cover the couch and bed as we know they love to cuddle, but please use the blankets provided for the furniture. Please do not leave your pets unattended or unsecured in the residence. Please also pick up after your dog, and bring your own leashes and/or tie outs.

Honestly, it is the most well stocked, every detail thought about place I have ever stayed in, probably including my own house. Outside blankets, slippers, first aid kit, hair ties, the list of extras goes on and one. I can't think of anything that it didn't have that I would have liked/needed. The kitchen is perfectly stocked, including an air fryer! The dishes set-up made clean-up easy, and the window provided a great view. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom even had a great remote controlled ceiling fan. The luggage rack and clothes rack was the best most practicable set-up I have had at a VRBO. Honestly in addition to the location being perfect for my needs in Cypress Hills PP, this place is almost a destination in itself!"

The apartment is located in a vibrant downtown street. It’s filled with sunshine during the day and cozy at night time. The unit is spacious and above a business. Access to the unit is either in the front or back of the building.

This location is the lower 2 levels of my home. After entering through the coded locked gate, you have a private entrance, using the back door. With a video doorbell and a touchscreen coded lock. You have a full living area with a well equipped small kitchen, & eating area. The eating area also makes a nice work space. On the lower level, you have a laundry area, 3 piece bathroom, and a bedroom with one queen bed. There are drawers within the bedroom with a closet area. It is all completely newly renovated. And it is private.

I live upstairs and I have a dog. He is super friendly! He’s well trained and you may see him in my portion of the yard on nice days. He will greet you with a bark and a wagging tail. His name is Gunner

Come & stay in our 1st floor south facing one bedroom suite! No shared space!We have high ceilings, bright windows, lots of light! Open concept floor plan with 1 large bedroom w/ a comfy queen Size Bed. The suite is private, spacious and in a safe area, has its own laundry & is fully stocked & professionally cleaned. Kitchen is fully equipped w/ indoor&outdoor dining space. Quick access to shopping areas, parks, trails and downtown! The suite is smoke and pet free, 1st week of supplies provided.
The space
Our family friendly and safe fully furnished one bedroom suite is only a 10 minute drive to almost all the stores and places in town, all the stores and restaurants like Costco, Superstore, Brown Social House, Walmart, Canadian Tire are just minutes away, the backyard is backed on a path to local parks and cycles lanes. One parking spot is available for the suite.

The living room has a 50inch TV. Gorgeous view and great lighting from the windows. Electric fire place and additional sittings are available. Xbox, computer monitor, and a treadmill are provided to make the stay more enjoyable.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed with a large closet, a window overlooking the backyard as well as a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and plenty of storage room.

We also have an equipped work space in case you would like to work or study at home.

The light kitchen cabinets creates more open space in the kitchen, which is fully equipped with an induction cooking top, air fryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The open plan concept allows you to use the kitchen whilst still keeping in the conversation going during mealtimes at the dining area.

Please ask regarding longer-term stays over three months.

Bookings require an accredited VISA or Mastercard along with a valid government issued photo ID, which will both be required upon check in. VISA Debit or cash will not be accepted for reservations.
There are people living in the unit upstairs, so there might be noise from someone moving around, but the first floor is insulated, and strictly no noise during quiet hours between 11pm-8am. Due to this nature if you like to book else where we understand, but negative review would not be appreciated regarding people moving around during the day.
