Magnificent very comfortable house completely renovated in 2013/2014 completely redone a very nice bathroom 2 bedrooms a living room and fitted kitchen everything is new, very nice and bright, quiet, comfortable disabled access, we accept smokers and animals. Access from Mont Saint Michel is very fast 2 km from the Mont Saint Michel car parks or 20 minutes on foot

- "The only negative relating to this stay was the weather, and we don’t hold the VRBO manager responsible for that. And the weather could have been much worse. It was really just a little too cold for those of us from Hawaii. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, braved the cold to walk out to Mont St Michel, and there were people wading in the water to the side of the raised road and walkway. We enjoyed a very nice dinner at the recommended restaurant just across the street in front of our house. The house, itself, was very well appointed with everything that we needed. With the manager living right next door, there would have been no problem getting assistance if we needed help with anything, but everything worked just fine. The WiFi was a little bit weak in the house, but it worked. It did work better at the table just outside the back door, since the router is set up on that side of the house. I would say that we hope to return some day, but at 76, living in Hawaii, that is a fairly unrealistic wish."

- "We stayed here for a few days as a family. The apartment was clean and the sofa split into two single beds. There was a small kitchen, large bathroom and outside table and chairs. The apartment was basic but had everything you needed. There was a swimming pool, small park, ping pong table, boules and a tennis court which were all very well received. The apartment was 25 min walk to the Saint Michel car park and a further 40 min walk to the centre of the island (well worth a visit). The village has a great boulangerie and lots of places to eat. Would definitely recommend."

- "December visit - After a long day of holiday travel from the US we had the warmest welcome from the home owner. She showed us the entire place and let us know what to do upon check out. She was very enthusiastic and even put up a Christmas tree for us. The house had all of the essentials and was very clean. We also really appreciated the off street parking with a driveway that is included in the rental, especially when it was pouring down rain!The best part of our stay was being so close to everything. The drive to the parking area for Mont St Michel is only a few minutes. The shuttle service runs constantly so you do not have to make the walk. But if you do, it’s a gorgeous walk. Also, if you have nice weather and wanted a longer walk you could walk the trails to the shuttle for MSM directly from the Gîte.We were also surprised how close we were to Saint Malo and Cancale! We spent a half day in Saint Malo and walked the wall, ate some amazing crepes by the ocean and shopped a bit. We then drove over to Cancale, that is very close by, and had the most amazing oysters after our walk of the town. Cancale is the oyster capital of Brittany! And let me tell you, they lived up to the expectations and more. The water is so gorgeous and it was a cloudy day when we were there. I can only imagine what it is like during a sunny clear sky day. Our stay was amazing! Le Petite Gîte du Mont was the perfect location for what we had planned to see and nice to come “home” to every day! "
