Towels and bed linen are offered in the vacation home. The accommodation is non-smoking. For guests with children, the vacation home offers outdoor play equipment and a baby safety gate.

This cabin has it's own bathroom. self check in, free WIFI, fully stocked fridge, and pantry in the coffee shop, smoking is allowed outside, fire pit, Cornhole, we have the animal sanctuary nearby, Thunder mountain Indian Monument is right across the freeway. and Rye Patch Dam is close by also.

This property is a two bedroom, one bath home that has been completely renovated and is a brand new rental. It is located within a 2 minute walk to food and shops, as well as a few bars and bowling alley around the corner. The house is very well kept and also has brand new landscaping throughout the front yard with patio furniture for your convenience. Our neighborhood and neighbors are very friendly and we also host an additional property on the same parcel that regularly has guests. The neighborhood is also a very safe place located a block from the sheriff's department, but we do engage a security service and alarm panel to protect the property and our guests should they wish to use the alarm during their stay.
We are experienced property owners and rental managers that love to connect with our guest to ensure they are able to have the best experience possible when booking with us, and we can help with whatever questions or concerns our guests have along the way.
We strive to provide the essentials of a short term rental that travelers need when choosing to stay in a house rental vs hotel.
Towels and bedding are high quality and selected with our guests most important need during their stay, Sleep! Both bedrooms have built in usb's on the night stands for your charging convenience, and are also equipped with personal TV's as well as satellite cable.
The house has one primary bathroom upstairs with shower and tub, and basic necessities like shampoo, conditioner, and soaps are provided as amenities if needed during your stay. There is also spare tooth brushes and q-tips available in the bathroom cupboards.
The kitchen contains all the essentials to make a home cooked meal. while traveling, and if there is something needed during your stay that isn't available we encourage you to reach out and we will try and accomodate the supplies needed for cooking at the house.
The basement does have an additional room, which is currently not set up for guests or rental. The washer and dryer are located in the same space in the basement and we do provide basic laundry soap and dryer sheets if needed.

There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and relax, and we had a great time visiting the bowling alley just two short blocks away. I stayed in the Doc Holiday (smallest one) and it provided plenty of space for all my gear without feeling at all cramped. I did get to look at the others and they were even more spacious, you really felt like you had your own little cabin, making it your own place while you were there. In their "kitchen" area, there was no stove or oven, but they had a refrigerator, microwave and all the utensils, plates and bowls that you would need to make easy meals. Although I did not use it, they have a grill available and sell burgers, hot dogs and the buns if you wanted to grill out. Speaking of which even though breakfast was included (waffles, fruit, Danishes, English muffins, bagels and coffee) there were plenty of other snacks, drinks, burritos, breakfast burritos, etc. that you could purchase if you were in the mood for something else. They had two front load washer and dryers with the soap, dry sheets, etc that you could pay to use and I even saw a sign that they had a UTV (Side by Side) that you could rent by the hour if you wanted to go out and explore the back country. Although there is no cable or over-the-air television, the cabins and kitchen do have a Roku player hooked up to the televisions with apps like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc. that you can use to watch on demand shows. The bathroom is shared by all 3 cabins at this time, but they were already adding one to one of the cabins and planning on a second one on the other so no one would have to share. However it was not really a big deal. I never once had an issue sharing the bathroom and it was kept super clean. You do not even have to save your own towels, etc. for the time you are there. They wash them daily for you! There was plenty of off street parking and the community was very quiet at night and felt very safe. I think everyone knows each other there, it is small. They also have a hot tub set up, but I unfortunately left my swim shorts at home. I highly recommend this place and have already passed this gem on to friends."

The Cozy Cabin in the City is both spacious, offering an open concept layout, while maintaining a perfectly snug and homey feel.

Winnemucca Nevada is the perfect place to visit for a few days or as a resting point during your long travel along Interstate 80.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and backyard except for two closets and the food pantry which will all be locked.

Gym:
The basement gym will also be locked unless guests let us know they would like to use the gym during their stay and sign a waiver of liability. Please, clean shoes only in the gym. Animals, children, and guests who have not signed a waiver are not allowed in the gym at my time.

Parking:
We have a double car driveway out front along with street parking that is also available. Plenty of room for toy haulers or horse trailers.

Firepit:
We have a Firepit and wood for you and your guests to use during your stay with us! There is a lighter in the small drawer in the kitchen. Please be safe when using the firepit and keep the fire inside the firepit at all time and under 2 ft in height. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while fire is in use.

BBQ Grill:
There is a BBQ Grill you can use in the backyard. It has definitely seen better days and we are working on replacing it. If you are thinking of using it I would recommend opening and starting it up first to make sure it will get the job done to your liking before you buy all your steaks and whatnot. Please shut off the propane tank after every use.

Coffee:
We have a Keurig machine with 1 Folgers K cups per adult guest per day up to 15 total for a longer stay. You will need to purchase more if needed for you and your guests.

Backyard:
The back and front yard is a work in progress. We are allowing the weeds and grass to die in preparation for planting sod the next season. weeds have been cleared. it is fenced for pets to still use the backyard.

Location:
Our home is within walking distance to just about everything you will likely need for your stay. With that comes some down sides for those who are specifically sensitive to the infrequent train or ambulance since the home is located within a 10 min walk from the Amtrak train station and the Hospital. I personally do not notice either when I'm there and only one guest has mentioned it so we just want to be transparent prior to you booking.

Early Check-In:
Please message us if you are planning on arriving earlier and if we are able to accommodate an early check-in time we will. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Security:
Front door passcode is changed between each new say and a deadbolt is provided at the front entrance for peace of mind and to prevent toddlers who can open doors from opening the front door.

We have two security cameras, one for the front yard and one for the back yard.

No Cameras in the home other than the Alexa device "Echo Show" which is in the kitchen. The camera on the device should always be manually closed. If you have any concerns feel free to unplug the device or just ensure its camera is manually closed for more peace of mind.

Child Proof:
We have a baby gait and knob covers for the gas stove which can be used during your stay. Steak Knives are in the kitchen drawer but may be moved out of reach if needed. All outlets are tamper proof.

This recently remodeled home has been in our family since our ancestors moved to the area.

The home was completely gutted and renovated in 2022.

Some of the furniture and fixings throughout the common area are vintage/antiques from the local area.

We are partnered with our “sister business,” which happens to be an antique store - so if you happen to see something in the home that you cannot live without, let us know! It just may be for sale.

We wanted to create a space that was warm and cozy, while also feeling clean and crisp. We have used a mixture of eclectic vintage finds, modern touches, and traditional pieces to shape the home into what you see.

Guest access
You’re welcome to make the entire main floor your “home away from home,” but we politely ask that you stay on the main floor and out of the basement.

Other things to note
We were eager to begin hosting, and so some amenities are not yet available.

A bbq grill and outdoor seating is coming as well!

Lawn landscaping is currently being planned.

We also plan to become pet friendly in the very near future with the addition of secure fencing.

This is a non smoking property. Tenants will be subject to additional cleaning costs if remnants of cigarettes or cigarette smoke is noticed after check out.
