Snow removal typically occurs once per day in the morning following a storm. Snow removal can also occur at irregular times during a storm or after the road is plowed. From October thru April, be prepared for extreme winter conditions. When there is a storm, guests need to be prepared for the house's service garage to be opened and for snow blower noise and some other snow removal work noise. Snow removal may take place at night with lights. During winter conditions, guests are encouraged to use vehicles that are effective in snow.

Kitchen is on the smaller size and older. So if you plan to cook up a feast here this place may not be for you. But that is not what this lodge is about. It is about the grandeur of living in nature, amongst bustling trees, with the sound of a busy river running right by and as you look up you stare in to the beautiful mountains or on a clear night a starry sky."
