- "We stayed three weeks in this lovely and very comfortable chalet in Le Planay for a hiking holiday. The house is located in a tiny, lovely village with stunning views, just a few steps away from some wonderful hiking paths and the national park. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Everything was very clean when we arrived. Communicaton was easy and fast. The next supermarket (U-market) is 3o minutes away in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. But since the house has got two big fridges with a lot of space in the freezers for storing bred etc. this wasn't a problem at all. We highly recommend this place, especially for families, and would love to come back anytime."

We rent a unique chalet by its location that we completely renovated in 2018. It is an old sheepfold dating from 1874 inhabited by "the old lady with hens". We have converted it into two independent apartments of 110 m2 each.
It is located at the bottom of the hiding track, still snow-covered thanks to numerous snow cannons.
You leave and arrive on skis in front of the chalet. Children can descend to the ski school by an easy slope in 30 seconds.
The village of Arc 1600 and its shops can be reached in 5 minutes on foot as well as the funicular which allows you to connect Bourg Saint Maurice.
We welcome you personally on your arrival, your luggage and your groceries will be transported by us in a caterpillar. The most tired can also enjoy it.

Three practical options for skiing even with children:
1/ A free shuttle passes in front of the chalet for the funicular 6km away. The ascent to Arc 1600 lasts 7 minutes. Ski rental and ski storage are at the bottom, ski school at the top of the funicular. By car it’s flat and takes less than 10 minutes. There is a very large parking lot. Once organized with the ski locker, your trips will be quick and practical.
2/ You can drop off your children in less than 10 minutes by car at the Montchavin ski school 6km away, a family resort in the fir trees in La Plagne area. You can park easily at the top of the station.
3/ You’ll access the village skilift of Peisey 6km away which takes you to Vallandry, the center of Paradiski in 6 minutes with ski schools, kindergarden and ski rental. Our website explains everything in detail.
We operate weeks Sunday to Sunday. This saves you from Traffic and allows you to ski on Saturday, the quietest day on the slopes.

Skiing at altitude and 626 snow cannons guarantee you quality skiing whatever the time of year. Two glaciers are part of the area, “Aiguille Rouge” and “Bellecôte”. The summit of the ski area at 3,250 m. Landry has an ideal location in the valley 800m at the foot of the enormous "Paradiski" ski area with 425 km of slopes and 140 lifts. 2 snow parks, 5 boarder crosses, 2 half-pipes.

This chalet can be catered or self catered. For those self catering the kitchen area is well equipped, large cooker with large oven, dishwasher, a small fridge and a larger fridge/freezer, plenty of room to work in and work space.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer downstairs for your convenience.
A balcony off from the lounge allows you to sit out on the sunny days especially early evening later on in the season when you get full sun!
There is also a terrace out the back which has a table and chairs for outside dining during the summer months.
The chalet is in the lovely village of Peisey Nancroix with access directly to ski Les Arcs and La Plagne only 8 mins walk away (in ski boots).
The small superette is close by at 50m and there is a butchers, boulangerie and cheese shop a bit further on.

To get to the slopes, there are two options - you can take the steps down to the main road and there is a regular bus service to the ski lift - it takes 2 mins to get there.
The other option is to walk - it takes 8 mins - this can be made all the more pleasant (for kids especially) if you just rent ski equipment from Sport 2000 in Plan Peisey then you can just walk in normal boots to the ski lift (stand-up type lift) and collect gear directly from there!

Large space under the slope of the roof of the Chalet pointu comprising 3 rooms: 1 closed bedroom with double bed 160, office, another space with a double bed of 140, in the space closed by a curtain and which also includes a cot for child. The last room is the large bathroom with shower, 2 sinks, WC, wardrobe and storage.
This space is accessed via a staircase that starts from the main room and spirals around the fireplace. A landing serves these three spaces. A curtain allows this space to be "closed off" but there is still a slight proximity with the main room of the chalet (see photos).

The space
The accommodation consists of a house as well as an outbuilding that is located just opposite, 5 meters away.
The main house is organized around the fireplace that is in the living room, living-dining room. On the same level is the fully-equipped kitchen.
On the lower floor you will find a bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilets as well as a large bedroom, with a double bed, overlooking a terrace.
On the first floor, a bedroom with three single beds faces a mezzanine in which there is a double bed.
On the top floor and under the attic, two single beds complete the beds of this house.
In the outbuilding, a large room will allow you to store your ski belongings. The presence of a sauna will give you a relaxation in the evening. A bedroom with a double bed is available with a bathroom, walk-in shower and separate toilet.

The space
In the main room, you have a dining area, with a large table that can accommodate 8 people.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with fondue and raclette sets and a Nespresso machine.

A large living room, whose soft armchairs will encourage you to spend lovely evenings by the fireplace and a terrace of 15m2 allowing you to enjoy the sun’s rays until its sunset behind our mountains.
All rooms have views of the surrounding nature and preserved.

You will have 4 bedrooms. Two double rooms with each an ensuite shower room + toilets and 2 twin rooms which share a tub bathroom + toilet. There is an extra toilet in the hallway.

And as every detail has been well thought out, you can leave your ski shoes in a suitable drying cabinet.

The house is in a ski in/out location. In the morning you can use our free shuttle service or ski to Les Granges to take the funicular to Arc1600. In the afternoon you can ski at the gate of Arc1600.

Cannot have separation anxiety or be a barker as it may disturb other families in the building. We ask an extra 30 € cleaning costs. Thank you for understanding.

SHOPPING:
It is advisable to do your shopping in Bourg Saint Maurice before climbing up the mountain (Intermarché or SuperU). There is a Sherpa supermarket in Arc1600 and Arc1800 (only open in high winter and summer season, not in autumn and spring), but they have a small selection and are very expensive. For SuperU shopping, we offer a SuperU Pick Up pickup service (please check the conditions before ordering online. You only confirm an order for a time slot previously agreed to by us. Fees apply for this service).

WIFI:
We live a mountain life and with many tourists in Les Arcs on the network, many people in the apartment streaming at the same time, bad weather and the thick walls of the building, the speed may be slower than you're used to in the big city. So the WiFi “is what it is”, we are unable to improve it. Elon Musk won’t return our calls, sorry.

Our chalet is perfect for families or large groups. It is only 200m from the nearest ski lift which connects to the vast Paradiski area with over 420 kms of pistes. And if that is not enough, Ste Foy (15 mins) Val d'Isere and Tignes (25 mins) are a short drive away.
In the summer there are all sorts of activities, including biking and hiking from the front door, plus tennis, canoeing, white water rafting , swimming and riding all within 20 minutes

The space
The chalet was completely rebuilt from a 19C village house. It has spectacular views over the Tarentaise valley below, especially from the top floor balcony which runs round 3 sides of the building.

The very spacious and comfortable roomat the top of the building is where you will cook, eat, drink and relax in front of a huge open fireplace or go out onto the balcony to take in the panoramic scene across the valley.
(As an aside there have been 5 proposals on the balcony over the years so the view must have something special)

During the Winter you can ski up to 7 different Resorts , all a few minutes drive away including skiing to Italy for the day. All high altitude so guaranteed skiing and having a car gives yo the flexibility to ski multi resorts.
The nearest lift is a 5 min drive away. Lift passes start from 24 euros and there is a free lift in Villaroger.

Ideal for families and friends, the chalet is a great size with large glass windows, original beams and warm furnishings. We have just fitted a new kitchen in 2023 & a new bathroom renovation in June 2024. The open plan lounge and kitchen leads onto an lovely terrace with outdoor Hot Tub (Jacuzzi), BBQ, furniture and fairy lights.

There is a cycle path 5 mins from the Chalet that goes through Bourg St Maurice and down the Valley by the river.

PETS:
This property accepts pets only after our approval. So please contact us before booking. We accept 1 pet per booking. A small dog max 25 kg. It needs to be house trained, cannot be in the house alone at any time, cannot be in the bedrooms and/or on the furniture. We ask an extra 30 € cleaning costs. Thank you for understanding.

SHOPPING:
It is advisable to do your shopping in Bourg Saint Maurice before going up the mountain (Intermarché or SuperU). There is a Sherpa supermarket in Arc1600 and Arc1800 (only open in high winter and summer season, not in autumn and spring), but they have a small choice and are very expensive.
For SuperU shopping, we offer a SuperU Pick Up pickup service (please check the conditions before ordering online. You only confirm an order for a time slot previously agreed to by us. Fees apply for this service).

WIFI:
We live a mountain life and with many tourists in Les Arcs on the network, many people in the apartment streaming at the same time, bad weather and the thick walls of the building, the speed may be slower than you're used to in the big city. So the WiFi “is what it is”, we are unable to improve it. Elon Musk won’t return our calls, sorry.

Our chalet is nestled at the end of a quiet cul de sac in the charming mountain village of Villaroger, Savoie - linked to Les Arcs via the lift in winter.
Sainte Foy, Tignes and Val d’Isère are all a short drive away too.

The chalet has 4 bedrooms a spacious kitchen, log fire, large living and dining area, separate TV/Cinema room and plenty of outdoor space with a jacuzzi BBQ & pizza oven on the terrace plus a large private garden.

The space
There is plenty of space inside to socialise and even more space outside with the wrap around balcony, jacuzzi on the deck and a BBQ and pizza oven for the spring and summer season all with uninterrupted views of the mountains and very private.

The Villaroger ski lifts are just 300m away. You can ski in Villaroger or enjoy direct access to the entire lift system of Les Arcs. The return is for intermediate skiers.
There are two lovely restaurants within walking distance and many more within 15 minutes drive. We can arrange for ski hire to be delivered along with some delicious ready meals.

The whole chalet including a closed garage with ski rack and laundry room is available to you. The jacuzzi is now conveniently located on the main terrace. There is a small separate apartment that is used occasionally by the owner below the chalet with its own access & private terrace that does not interfere or over look the chalet at all.

The chalet is located on a small street, in the heart of Landry, between gardens and houses forming a quiet area: a typical Savoyard village. The chalet is located a 1-minute walk from 2 (very good) restaurants and bars and a 5-minute walk from a convenience store. Also a great sushi shop 5 minutes away.

Free shuttles to Les Arcs and Peisey Vallandry are a one-minute walk away. The chalet is thus 10 minutes from the start of the alpine ski slopes: free shuttle that passes right next door almost 12 times a day!

Paradiski is a huge estate that consists of multiple connecting stations. The Vanoise Express cable car connects Les Arcs and La Plagne.
