- "Location location location" - "We booked this bc it was one of the few available dog friendly places we could find. Turned out to be so much better than expected. The Chalet is rustic, comfortable and cozy with everything you need. Location can’t be beat for skiing Mammoth as you can ski in/out right at Main Base Lodge. Skiing home after a full day of skiing and enjoying an apres ski drink from the front deck overlooking the mountain was enough to make it worth it. The trails around the property also provided a great playground for the kids to play and sled through the woods. And the on-sore management is super friendly and very responsive. We can’t wait to stay here again."

- "I’ve always wanted to stay in one of these cabins and finally got a chance memorial day weekend. It did not disappoint. Great location comfortable beds and plenty of room for a family of four. Super easy check-in and checkout process." - "We had the best Mammoth ski trip ever staying in Chalet 7. Besides being hugely convenient with the ski-in, ski-out access, the chalet itself was clean and cute and comfortable. We loved the wood burning fireplace! (Plenty of wood included!). There were only 4 of us and our dog and it felt roomy - I think 8 people would be very tight. Everything about this trip felt effortless. Which is saying something when it comes to ski trips. Upon the recommendation of the Chalet staff, we even had our rental skis delivered directly to us using Black Tie Ski Rental (they picked up too!). The entire trip exceeded expectations and definitely worth the splurge! We are going to copy-paste for next year if we are lucky enough to book the Chalet before somebody else does!"

The location is second to none, you can't beat the views and proximity to lifts, especially with little ones. Our boys simply can't get enough of Mammoth, and it's an easy walk (or ski) right to the lifts. No need to wait in line and spend $$ for lunch on the hill, it's easy to ski right back to chalet 6 and enjoy lunch on the deck. Chalet 6 is cozy, we've been in both the summer and the winter and continue to return every year. We're looking forward to another trip this month! "

We used dishwasher every night. We enjoyed the abundance of firewood for nightly fires. Microwave is tiny but functional. Guest services were outstanding and responded to our needs promptly. It's close to everything, yet far enough away so that you feel like you're having a true mountain experience."

- "Our family stayed here and we loved this chalet! It was nicely updated, large enough for all 9 of us (2 grandparents, 2 sons and their wives, and 3 grandkids). Bedrooms are big, beds are comfy, lots of towels provided, updated kitchen was really nice! Large deck with propane bbq and seating benches. The chalet snowcat to take our stuff in and out at checkin/checkout was very prompt and our grandkids loved riding in it. It was truely ski in-ski out and the proximity to Mammoth Main Lodge, Mammoth Mountain Inn, and the Yodler was awesome. We will stay here again I'm sure!"

Guest access
You cannot drive to the unit in the winter and have to park in the parking lot. We offer a snowcat ride during the winter upon arrival and departure to assist with luggage. Rides end at 9pm. We reach out via text the day before to schedule the ride for your arrival. Easy walk to and from our parking lot on a groomed ski trail throughout your stay. Summer access allows guests to drive and park at the unit. Checkout is at 10am.

Other things to note
WINTER STAYS: This unit requires a snowcat ride upon arrival and departure to transport luggage in the winter. You CANNOT drive to the unit in the winter. 2 parking spots are provided in our parking lot. Snowcat rides end promptly at 9pm.

The décor is rustic modern with 200-year-old reclaimed Canadian barn wood custom installed by an LA artist. Original modern art adorns clean white walls. Luxury Rustic-Pine flooring (Coretec) runs throughout the entire home, from bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen - no old musty carpet! The kitchen has SS appliances, granite counters, and is fully stocked with new dishes and flatware. Well stocked kitchen appliances, spices, coffee grinder, chopsticks, and more. Over the fireplace is a smart HD 55” TV with DVR (record the game!), Netflix, high speed internet and more. Each bedroom has newer duvets, comforters, owner's luxury sheets and towels (not rental company linens) and each with TV/DVR. The condo is a spacious 1400-plus square feet with a private patio that opens out to a large lawn with aspen trees. Newer Samsung Washer & Dryer featuring steam sanitize.

Guest access
Ground-floor location has easy direct and private entry from the well manicured Snowcreek grounds. End unit faces an aspen grove and lawn- not a parking lot; and only one unit above. The patio door opens out to a private patio and grassy area, good for well behaved pups.

We have cleaning supplies under the sink if guests wish to sanitize. Our newer Samsung full size washer & dryer offers a "steam sanitize" feature.
