This is a vacation rental of an entire cabin and not a hosted or shared space or bed-and-breakfast. Fully outfitted kitchen, laundry room. Linens and towels provided. Cabin shares common yard and it is not fenced in.

There are 3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds and two single futons.
There is one dedicated parking space and Guest spaces. Street parking is good.
Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 8:00am.
Check in/out times are 4:00pm/11:00am.
Please inquire about pets. No cats please. Please clean up after your doggie outside and keep them off the beds, comforters, and throws.

The cabin was remodeled from its 1976 origins in 2012 so gone is that beloved 70's paneling and the extra walls so the whole kitchen - dining - living area flow together; with the original open beam ceiling it has a comfy spacious feel to it. This living area has the deck off of it and it has wonderful southern exposure so there it is light and bright all day long. The view of the Carson Range near Heavenly and the grassy green lawn make this a nice little peaceful refuge.

The space of the house is nicely laid out and it utilizes it well. First floor has full size bedroom with roomy closet and queen bed, full bath and laundry room you can use. Second floor has a 'cozy' bedroom with a pretty ponderosa pine outside its window (queen bed), plus the large bedroom with the same view of the mountains as from the deck. This bedroom has a queen bed and two single futons. The second floor has the vaulted chalet ceiling, and there is another bath with shower.

Kitchen has appliances that includes a gas stove (instead of electric!) and, mercifully, a dishwasher. With the granite counter tops and island, plus all the cooking gear and plates you'll need you can get to work cooking up a storm in there should you desire.

There are a couple of bar stools at the island, and the dining table has a leaf so you can expand it to seat 8.

Living room has new efficient wood stove, 46 inch LCD HDTV and DVD player, and some comfortable seating - better than we have at home!

All the bedrooms have clothes closets and new high quality, non-toxic mattresses made in the US.

The big bedroom has a small (32 x 48') Foosball/multi game table and a 37 inch LCD HDTV.

The TV's have Roku devices and we have a subscription to YouTubeTV that includes sports and local channels.

What we have in the cabin:

The cabin has a refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, rice cooker, blender, coffee maker with filters, coffee grinder, a standard set of pots and pans, dishes, food containers, mugs and glasses. Washer, dryer, hair dryer in each bathroom, iron and small ironing board in the laundry room.

One set of bed linens per bed, four pillows per bed, one bath and one hand towel per guest. Also in the closet are deck loungers and chairs.

Deck / Patio:
A couple of lounges, some armchairs, collapsible 'beach' chairs.

Outdoor Grill:
Weber One Touch Gold 22.5 Inch Charcoal Grill and grilling tools.

Great central location in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. No ugly power lines! Just up the street you can walk or ski into the Upper Truckee Marsh Conservancy area and make your way to the lake or the Tahoe Keys.

Located 2 miles from the 'Y' (US 50 and 89 - many stores and Raleys supermarket) and 4 miles from Stateline (Casinos).

The South Lake Tahoe Bike Path passes through here a few blocks away. Its about a 10 minute bike ride to go 2 miles up to Regan Beach.

The great City of South Lake Tahoe Recreation complex is a few miles away and has a swimming pool, basketball courts and weight room.

Meadow View is a recently renovated and well-appointed three-bedroom, two-bathroom chalet on a level lot. It includes a sizable but cozy loft and a two-car garage.
Air Conditioning was installed in 2022.

The property comfortably sleeps six adults, and nearly every window offers unobstructed views of the beautiful meadow or forest. Surrounded by Forest Service or Conservancy lands on both sides, this home is a peaceful getaway, perfect for families and friends.

This is NOT a party house. It is a family neighborhood with full-time residents. Noise travels across the meadow and can disturb residents. We have a strict noise and light policy (10 pm to 8 am) out of respect for our neighbors and El Dorado County regulations.

The first floor has a kitchen planned for guests who enjoy cooking; the kitchen is well-equipped. The kitchen is open, and the cook is not isolated from other guests. The dining area has a large table that seats eight. The living area features a gas-burning fireplace, a flat-screen TV, vaulted ceilings, and stunning views of the vast open meadow. There are two bedrooms, a fully renovated bathroom, and a laundry area with a newly installed large-capacity washer and dryer. The cabin has a tankless water heater for endless hot water!

Upstairs, you will find an open-beam ceiling, a large bedroom with a small balcony, a bathroom, a loft area with stunning views, comfortable seating, a pull-out queen bed, a flat-screen TV, and an open space with plenty of room to lounge or play.
The back deck opens to our beautiful meadow with miles of hiking and biking trails nearby.
During the summer months, enjoy using the Weber gas grill and outdoor furniture.

Located off Pioneer Trail, this home is a short drive from everything. In the winter, world-class skiing is 10 minutes away at Heavenly Ski Resort. In warmer months, enjoy some of Tahoe’s best beaches just a short drive away. Our favorite, Kiva Beach, is a dog-friendly beach with free parking and a stunning view of Mt Tallac. Head to the Beacon Bar and Grill for lakeside live music and their famous “Rum Runner.” There are four golf courses within a 20-minute drive of the cabin. For year-round fun, Stateline is 6 miles away. At Stateline, you will find many restaurants, bars, shops, and casinos.

The town of Meyers is only a few minutes down the road. There you will find our fantastic local grocery store, Holiday Market, two golf courses, local restaurants, and endless hiking and biking trails.

- "We came together as a family to celebrate our mom’s 86th birthday, Fallen Leaf Lake is her and my dad’s favorite place (dad now home to heaven). Mom had not been back 20 years. It was glorious to bring her. This place was easy for her to walk in; a walk up to short stairs and she had all she needed on main floor. The Loft and bedroom upstairs is perfect for extra room or if you had someone that needed to be away from the crowd. We walked into the home with flowers and a card for mom, such a nice touch. This place was perfect for the 6 of us. This place would be great for a family with children as well. A beautiful big meadow with tree swings, a lovely patio to enjoy. Lots of birds and squirrels and even a black bear, always exciting to see but reverent to just look. Clearly he was a local ha ha. The kitchen is THE BEST equipped I have stayed in, truly we had great meals in like being at home. Everything is there it’s amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough, even not wanting too, as we for sure will be back and hope it won’t be booked. Melinda the host was absolutely hands down the best, very easy to communicate with and very responsive. We are so blessed to have discovered this slice if paradise."

Beautifully situated in Sierra mountains and an evergreen forest environment. Located in Meyers, South Lake Tahoe (Tahoe Paradise). Family owned and managed since 1979. This rustic cabin is across from the Tahoe Paradise Golf Course (and snow mobile course during snow, winter months). El Dorado National Forest is directly across the street and is viewable from the front door of the cabin. The cabin sits on a 1/3 acre lot.

The cabin is a 4 bedroom two bath home and is fully furnished downstairs with dishwasher, microwave and utensils, coffee maker, plus a free standing gas stove. The kitchen has a large table for seating 8 people. The living area has a large flat screen HDTV, several couches, and has wi-fi and cable TV.

The decor inside is rustic, hardwood floors lead from the entrance, front door, into the kitchen. Area rugs provide a nice touch and comfortable experience in our cabin. Upstairs is fully carpeted. There’s a free standing gas stove which is controlled by a thermostat in the living room area.

The cabin has front and back yards for viewing and enjoying the mountains and surrounding terrain. In the backyard is a large deck which has surrounding views of the mountains and a picnic table, plus a propane bbq (propane bottles available are locally or bring your own).

The cabin is also within 2 or 3 blocks of grocery store, and access to surrounding retail shops and businesses.

It’s much larger inside than it appears from the outside. It’s older and the furniture is a little worn, but all still very comfortable, so we had absolutely no issue. After all, it is a cabin in the woods. All of the beds were also great, and there was ample seating both in living room and at dining table. The only thing we would have liked was to be able to use a little bit more of the yard, as there were several fallen tree limbs that got in the way of the kids play space, but we still had a blast on the side of cabin and the deck is wonderful. We had a pop up canopy that we used on the deck- I recommend using if you visit in summer. Dennis and the property manager were quick and efficient when we needed their assistance, and we would definitely stay again!"

It is equipped with extra amenities; 2 fireplaces, one large fireplace with granite rock and log accents, and one in the family room. There is a 70 in TV in the family room and 8 ft pool table in the family room.

It also features an large outdoor hot tub and gas barbecue, a jacuzzi bath in the master bath, large closets, cable TV viewing in all bedrooms great room and family room and has two decks. This lodge has cable broadband WIFI internet

The island kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, filtered water, granite slab counter tops with spacious oak cabinets. All appliances including washer and dryer, utensils, dinnerware, glassware were purchased brand new!

Conveniently located off Pioneer Trail close to Heavenly Ski Resort , away from tourist traffic, this home is only 10 minutes drive to the Y outlet shopping, 15 minutes to Sierra Ski Resort, 5 minutes drive to Heavenly and the casinos ; 10 minutes drive to golf courses and 70 minutes drive to Reno airport.

The location is great because it's near the Lake but out side of the busy South Lake area. The blinds are outdated and a little messed up but overall it was fine. There had been a water leak and the floor was very badly buckled which was a tripping hazard even after knowing it was there!! A barstool broke while someone was sitting on it and thankfully they were not injured from the fall. I let the owner know right away so as not to be charged a fee for breaking furniture and he said to just put it in the garage. The location was nice. The weather went through all seasons while we were there and the snow fall was beautiful. Overall I would stay here again!"

This is our family escape. Close to everything, but nestled in the trees in a quiet neighborhood.
This peaceful chalet is surrounded by relaxing forest property. 10 min from Heavenly, beaches and casinos. 15 min from Sierra at Tahoe. Walk to trails, cross country skiing, snowmobile and mountain biking access right at the end of the low traffic street. Located on a half acre lot and surrounded by 3 conservation lots for privacy. A large fenced side yard and a huge wooded rear yard on a gentle slope that is great for playing in the snow or just enjoying the outdoors. This chalet style home has a large deck around it to sit and enjoy a coffee. Newly remodeled and painted inside and out with all new furniture and mattresses. Professionally cleaned after every stay to keep spotless.
The downstairs master has a very comfy king size bed and its own bathroom. Upstairs is another bathroom and two more bedrooms. The first has a queen size bed and set up with an office space.
The last bedroom has sets of bunk beds that great for kids, but has a full for the bottom bunk that fits adults too. The living room couch pulls out to a queen bed, and an additional queen size inflatable mattress and electric air pump for plenty of plenty of sleeping options.
A full kitchen is available to cook delicious gourmet meals or make hot cocoa, coffee, or tea. Coffee maker, French press, and bean grinder for your perfect morning coffee.
The dining table is a handmade work of art. Made from two book matched slabs of silver maple which were cut from a storm damaged tree. The bench fashioned from a single plank of black walnut along with a matching coffee table.
High speed wireless internet, cable TV, Netflix, and even Amazon Alexa is available for your use. The home is nice and cozy with central heat, a gas fireplace and additional radiant heaters in two bedrooms if you like it extra toasty. I’m sure you will love to stay here as much as we do!

The host was very responsive and provided so much information about the home before our trip. The house was clean and cozy, and the location was perfect, with easy access to everything…restaurants, grocery stores, casinos, skiing, the gorgeous lake. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly.
