The Chalet is 12 min from Sky Park- a mountain biking Mecca with over 17 trails for all levels of riders and SO many options of things to do with kids.

*We provide duraflame logs for your stay- please don't use any outside wood or kindling

DOGS: We are animal lovers and do allow up to two dogs with a pet fee: $100 per trip (not per dog- one flat fee). Pet waste pickup tools and disinfectant are located outside to the left of side yard door and a hose are located at back of the house. All pet waste must be disposed of in trash cans located by yard OR an additional $250 cleaning fee will be charged. We have doggie treats, food/water bowl & poop bags.

SECURITY CAMERAS: we do have 24/7 video/audio security cameras on the exterior of the house-designed to maintain your privacy while enjoying our home. Located downstairs door as well as the patio door. Used to ensure we don't go over capacity on occupants.

PARKING: max of 4 cars on property; in level concrete driveway.

STRICT NO SMOKING on property policy $750 cleaning fee if violated.

NO PARTIES but we want you to have fun and enjoy our home as much as others and we do!!

Please note- if you do bring extra pets and/or extra people (over 8) we will see from the cameras and expect compensation. We allow dogs so please don't hide them- you will be charged an additional $150 pet fee for any animal not disclosed and $100 per person per night over what our 8 person max permit allows. We don't want to loose our permit- so please respect our rules.

Come and be indulged in this gorgeous designer furnished mountain getaway! Wake up and watch the sunrise over the mountains from the enormous decks on both levels. Watch the colorful blue jays as you enjoy breakfast looking out at the expansive views all the way from the desert to the mountains and golf course. In the evening the view changes to twinkling lights as the sun goes down. We are about a 5 minute walk from the most amazing trails that go all the way to Lake Gregory, where you can rent boats, kayaks, etc. Free pass included in rental with parking! Our chalet boasts a huge fireplace with ample seating on the main floor as well as a large open plan kitchen with high end commercial grade appliances and a large dining area overlooking the beautiful views. The deck includes a large gas grill for those lazy summer evenings. Downstairs, the two king bedrooms have direct patio access. The luxurious master suite includes a fireplace with jetted tub, double shower, large seating area and desk. All of the bedrooms are equipped with desks for those remote working breaks. The kids room has 2 sets of bunks with gaming chairs for 4 and foosball and board games to keep everyone occupied. All furniture and mattresses are brand new. Spectacular views of Lake Arrowhead from every window on every level of this beautifully appointed chalet. Relax in our living room with a roaring fire. Enjoy sweeping views from wrap around decks on both levels. Dining room seats 8 comfortably. There’s a fun loft for kids on the third level. Please remove shoes upon entering. There’s plenty of space downstairs with a huge living room with a large sofa for everyone, and wall to wall window views of Lake Arrowhead. There’s also a den with another large sectional and a smart tv. You will have one parking space on the parking deck. There is a separate apartment downstairs, that has its own private entrance. There are no shared spaces. However, the guests will also use the stairway. The guest for the other apartment will use the other parking space on the parking deck. There’s plenty of free street parking. The barbecue is for use by the guest. The guest is responsible for filling up the propane themselves. There’s a market in town, Jensen’s, that the guest may swap out the propane tank for a small fee.
Not responsible for Internet Outages, or service interruptions, that is out of our control. You are in the mountains, that occurs sometimes. We will not refund for outages or service interruptions.
Guests must immediately alert host to any issues regarding maintenance or request for repair service. Host will not compensate or refund for any issues not reported within 3 hours. Guest must also allow host and/or repairman access to the property to remedy the issue after host has been notified. If guest stays after issue is remedied or addressed, there will be no further remuneration or refund. We are not responsible for any belongings left behind.

There is a Feit camera and floodlight that is placed on the edge of the parking deck that actively records picture and sound 24/7 overlooking the entrance of Unit A for your safety. There is also a Ring doorbell camera located at the front door of Unit A that overlooks the stairway, which actively records live sound and video 24/7. There is no smoking permitted inside the house. You may smoke outside. If this rule is broken, we will charge $200 to remove the odor. We are not responsible for any personal belongings left at the property. There is a charge of $100 per person per night over 7 guests. We will only allow 9 total. Clean and put away dishes upon departure. You’re allowed 2 trash bags, supplied under sink, take bags to the curb and place inside trash containers, or that will be an added fee of $25 charged by our cleaning crew. No parties, $500 fine, strictly enforced.

To operate the living room TV. Use the RCA remote control to turn it on. Wait a few seconds while it turns on. Leave the input on HDMI 2, that is for the ROKU controller. Then use the ROKU controller to turn on the ROKU. If it doesn’t turn on, unplug the ROKU device from the WHITE extension cord, then plug it back in. You should see the Bouncing ROKU letters while it’s loading. Then you can use the ROKU remote controller to find your apps and log into any apps you choose. To turn up the volume, you need the RCA controller. To turn off, use the RCA controller.

If property is left extremely dirty, $200 extra cleaning fee. Turn off heater, and air conditioners, lock all windows and doors upon leaving. Leave porch light on please.

Once your booking has ended, you are required to give up the property and vacate per house and check-out rules. Please bring chains with you in the winter, we will not be responsible for weather related cancellations.

Also, we encourage guests to purchase CFAR cancellation insurance to protect your trip as we will adhere to our cancellation policy.

When it snows you can sled in our backyard! Otherwise, there is a great snow tubing park in Running Springs less than 10 miles away.

Lake Arrowhead is a private lake but we have lake rights that allow us to add you to our guest list in advance. You then can pick up wristbands (for a fee) at the guest relations office at the Arrowhead Lake Association office (one mile). This gives you access to the private gates and entrances along the lake for hikes, walking, and getting in the water. Visitors can also take a ferry ride out on the water with the Arrowhead Queen or get on the lake at the McKenzie Water Skiing School.

Don't miss Santa's Village in Sky Park very short drive. A day pass gives access to so much, wander the magic of the village, dine, shop, and ice skate!

Big Bear Lake is 20 miles East of Arrowhead and is also a public lake with many opportunities for swimming, boating, and rentals.

Lake Gregory is 8 miles from Arrowhead in Crestline and is a public lake, great for a day trip. They rent boats, kayaks, SUPs, etc.

If you have kids then a mile up the road is Mackay Park with a fun kid zip line, playground, tennis courts, and a great view of the lake!

A creek for swimming is at the end of Hook Creek if you follow it until you can't go any further and Aztec Trail (Falls) is an excellent hiking trail very close by, search it for specific trail guidelines.

Needless to say, this was a huge event for all of us, and I couldn't have chosen a better location for us to gather than this property. The house is lovely and beautifully decorated. I can not rave enough about the amenities. Everything you could possibly need is present and plentiful. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the bath towels are plush and soft. We forgot to bring a music speaker, but it wasn't necessary because the house already has a sound system installed . Aside from the cat hairs that agitated a couple of my family members' allergies, we had a great time together. Last but not at all least, It goes without saying that Alyssa was an excellent host. She called to give me instructions on how to switch on the air conditioner, water, and stove (which can be a little complicated), and to reassure me that she will be accessible for queries or concerns at any time. Everything got cleared up morning of check-in, but it added a bit more stress than necessary. Again though, home was fantastic, beds were comfortable, and home was clean. Had a wonderful time. "

SLEEP
The upper level features a master bedroom, with vaulted ceilings, a private attached bathroom and a California King mattress for ultimate serenity and a deep sleep. Complete with a spacious private deck off the bedroom with breathtaking views, snuggle up on two lounge chairs to watch the sunrise or set. It's truly heaven to drift off to sleep to the sounds of the fire crackling.

The lower level bedroom features a queen size bed with lots of natural light, and a bathroom right around the corner with dual shower heads which make for amazing water pressure.

KITCHEN
The kitchen features a sweet bay window + nook, full sized oak table with 6 chairs for a more formal seating arrangement, as well as a breakfast bar with two stools. The space is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking and measuring utensils, knives, spices, cooking oil, a microwave, even a stand mixer - anything you need to make the meals of your dreams come true! The essentials are also there, like a coffee maker, wine opener and can opener. Enjoy the cutest antique stove that you ever did see and a grill on the deck, for outdoor cooking. The space also boasts a dishwasher and a Keurig coffee maker with assorted K cups.

OUTDOORS
Spend hours on the large deck under the sun or stars, on our cozy hammock with far reaching views of the Pinnacles, a group of small, granite peaks Northwest of Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino Mountains. Complete with a grill and outdoor dining for meals under the sun or stars, the set up also offers an umbrella if you choose to be shaded for meals. The house is located in a small mountain community and has neighbors on either side, though still a private feel.

COMFORTS
While most homes in Arrowhead are without, ours is complete AC/Central Air (though mountain nights are almost always cool), and a nest heating system for convenient temperature control.

PARKING
Parking accommodates 2 cars parked tandem in the driveway. Parking on the neighbors property or on the street is not permitted.

LOCATION
The location of our cabin could not be better -- nestled in the trees, yet set on road that is always plowed in the Winter. Just a quick 8 minute drive brings you to Blue Jay village (aka Starbucks and a grocery store, restaurants and delicious take out food) while just a 10 minute drive from Lake Arrowhead Village (a charming lakeside village set within a national park, with numerous restaurants, shops and events).
