Your tent is your home base. Your adventure starts here. There is a queen size bed, clean porta potty . Please don't confuse this with a cabin . Its only a nice tent on a deck! SHEETS AND BLANKETS ARE NOT INCLUDED!
Don’t expect a 5 star resort
Campsite overlooks into the Historic, Mount Vernon House. As the name shows this site is comfortably nestled in Colorado’s Mount Vernon Canyon, 20 minutes from downtown Denver and 45 minutes from Denver international Airport.
Please note : there is a full size off the ground bed, .. Can sleep four but 2 is more comfortable. We are have clean porta potties . The Glamping Tent can be driven up to. It is on a deck not the ground. It’s a yurt with a bed don’t expect to much. Or bring your own sleeping bags.
Location:
The Camping site is surrounded by a Jefferson County Open Space Park known as Mathews/Winters Park. So, there are many hiking trails within an extremely short walk, and many more within a short drive. You can walk to a brewery and restaurant. Five minute drive to Colorado Mills Mall. The site is 2 miles away from Red Rocks Amphitheatre, which there is a direct hiking trail. It is also about 2.5 miles from Bandimere Speedway, a NHRA dragstrip. The site is 45 minutes away from Loveland ski area, so if you are going skiing and are familiar with the area, you are close to many ski areas! It is very close to Golden which has many niche shopping areas and of course Coors Brewery. On the other end is the quite little town of Morrison which has many unique opportunities for restaurants and shopping. With all above mentioned you have a total secluded feel and still have many amenities nearby. The perfect access to major highways, means at times , in the summer, you will hear the rumble of some traffic. Ear plugs are provided or bring your own ear muffs. Please be aware you are staying in Colorado wilderness. You may encounter deer, fox , coyotes, raccoon, rattlesnake, owls , bobcat, rabbits, rattlesnake, moths, bats, Koala bears, birds, snow leopards, mountain lion, bear, elk, moose, gooses, cows, squirrel, honey badgers, magpies and fruit bats. Watch your steps and keep foods locked in your car. There are air horns provided to scare off un wanted visitors. You will be expected to tidy up after yourself as there is no house keeping service!! *There is no cleaning fee , but if you leave a mess you can/will be charged for cleaning , and nobody wants that! We used to provide more stuff but some people suck, they leave messes and steal items. Please be respectful of the next guest!! ALSO due to folks not showing up or changing their minds or not reading the listing, you do not get a full refund without 2 days notice, sorry we’ve been burned to many times with out time to rent to someone else. If you need additional space , like for a tent or camper you need ask for prior approval , and yes there is a service charge for the space. No fires are allowed .

Watch your steps and lock food in your cars to prevent unwanted guest. There is an air horn to scare off any unwanted visitors. You will be expected to tidy up after yourselves as there is no housekeeping service!!. Have good karma please!! *There is no cleaning fee , but if you leave a mess , you will get charged for cleaning and no one wants that! Please be respectful of the next guest!! About canceling within 2 days doesn’t give us time to re rent, so be sure to read the description or no full refunds ! If you need more space for a tent or a camper there is an additional charge upon our prior approval. No open fires!

- "Easy walk from the venue…." - "There are two yurts and some trailers on the property with a portapotty and a little solar shower. It is super easy to get to Red Rocks and on the highway. There is no electric or water, but the manager has provided a lot of little extras to help out like a big battery charger and some charcoal and an air horn, etc. I suspect if you are here then you aren't much for creature comforts. We did run in to a rattler next to the fire, not sure if it is the resident rattler or just passing through but we gave it its space and all was well."

The Buffalo Bill Lodge is a new, large Jayco JAY FLIGHT 28BHBE Recreational Vehicle that has a king bedroom and more beds that support 6 folks with new mattresses and everything new throughout and new bathroom shower + vanity. This cottage honors the Western America soldier, hunter, and showman, Buffalo Bill, whose Museum and Grave is only a few miles away.

High speed wireless Internet WiFi all the way up the mountains to the cabins for 100 MB per second download speed + 10 MB per second upload speed for Smart LED TV apps. This is truly amazing!!!

Coal Creek Cabins is located close to Denver, Boulder, Golden, Lakewood and I-70 to the Summit County ski resorts. Perfect for a romantic getaway, recreation, family retreat or business trip. Nestled along Coal Creek Canyon, this cabin is private with easy access along Colorado Highway 72. It is 9 miles from Highway 93 on the plains so has great access only 10 minutes from the plains. Activities in the area: All within about a half-hour. Fishing, ice fishing, hunting, hiking, rock climbing, golf, kayaking, rafting, horseback riding, bike riding, atv, motorcycle riding, snowmobiling, boating, hunting, snow shoeing, sledding and cross country skiing, downhill skiing, golf, gambling, shows, Coors Brewery, and shopping. The property looks over Walker Ranch hiking and biking area and the Gross Reservoir water area, dam and spillway. The small mountain town of Nederland is quite an experience to explore. Rafting in Idaho Springs 41 miles. Denver is also just 35 miles away where you can enjoy The Buell Theater(concerts, plays, symphony), Natural History Museum, Denver Broncos football, Colorado Rockies baseball, Denver Nuggets basketball, Colorado Avalanche hockey and so much more. Water World Water Park is within 45 minutes as well as Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park. Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, and Vail Ski Resorts make a good day trip. Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park are 60 miles away. Rafting and hot springs in Idaho Springs. Denver Intl Airport is an hour away.
