From the moment you drive on to this wonderful farm, you will know you have arrived at your home away from home. 54 acres of fields, oak fences, barns, buildings, sawmill, 8-acre fully stocked pond w/dock and a farmhouse built in 1913. The farm is multi-faceted employing regenerative practices that maintain the crops and animals without use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. Farm animals include beef cattle, goats, chickens, turkeys, horses and a donkey named Mozart. Farm tour included in your visit!

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.
Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows
-Lanterns and lighting
-Firewood for the campfire

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.
If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
Other Things to Note:
Do make yourself at home down by the pond and enjoy the areas designated for campers. Do not interact with the animals and enter buildings and places that have not been designated for campers. The farm is a wonderful place with many animals and places to explore. It also comes with hidden dangers. If you would like to tour the farm and interact with the animals, please let us know. We will be happy to make time to show you around All Good Acres!

Self Check-In: to limit the potential impact of community spread, we are encouraging our campers and hosts to adopt self-check in procedures whenever possible. To make self check-in easy, Tentrr provides a map to your site and driving directions in an email sent out a few days before your reservation. Please refer to this guide to get to your campsite. As a reminder, it is good practice to give your host a head's up on your estimated arrival time a few days beforehand. Welcome to the RVA Byrd House!
Enjoy a truly unique glamping experience located in the heart of Richmond within walking distance of all of the city’s best attractions. Located three blocks from Byrd Park, a 5-minute walk to the historic Fan, a 15-minute walk to Maymont Park, and 20-minute walk to Carytown. Great for a romantic getaway, a staycation, or a night with the kids. Not only will you stay in a retrothemed camper, but you will also have access to a private hot tub, projector, and grill.
The space
Even though you're glamping, our Shasta camper comes with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable including AC/heat, shower, toilet, sink, microwave, fridge, Keurig coffee maker, essential kitchenware, TV with access to streaming services, WiFi, and a retro game console filled with nostalgic games complete with two controllers. In addition, our queen bed with a premium mattress topper will guarantee you a great night’s sleep.
* Requests for longer than 2-night stays can be accommodated! Please note if you stay longer than 2 nights, we will need to check on the fresh, grey, and black tanks. This process only takes 30-40 minutes and can ideally be done while you are gone as to not disturb your stay.
Guest access
You will have exclusive, private access to the camper, backyard, and hot tub. One free parking space is available at the back gate and is best for compact or mid-size vehicles. However, it is possible to park a larger vehicle (it is just tight). Free street parking is also available.
Other things to note
This is a camper, not a house. Water and electric function slightly different. It is vital to follow the instructions left inside the camper in regards to this for an ideal experience. We also realize this may be someone's first time in a camper, which is why we are always a phone call away to ensure we can answer any questions that may arise.
Additionally, the camper toilet functions very similarly to a regular household toilet ie you flush the toilet and there are no foul odors. However, you cannot flush anything besides the toilet paper provided. Sanitary products, wet wipes, or anything besides the toilet paper we provide will clog the pipes and cause major damage if flushed.
In the summer, the camper has AC, but we also provide a window unit for additional cooling in extreme heat. With both the AC and window unit, it can get very cold in the camper even on those hot summer days!
The movie projector cannot be used when it is raining. It will damage the equipment.
If you want to invite additional guests, you need written consent from the hosts. You may also not leave your guests alone in the Airbnb and are responsible for any damages as a result of their visit.
Babies and children under the age of 5 are not allowed to book our experience due to safety concerns.
Commercial filming is strictly prohibited unless given written permission. If we suspect you are filming without permission, we will ask you to stop. For shoots, we reserve the right to be on premise and our standard rates will not apply.
