You will have a rested sleep in either our bunkie or cozy trailer, both with a/c for those warm summer nights.
During your stay you will have keyed private access to our community beach, including the use of docks, and boat launch.
We are a short 2 min drive to the beach, a 5 min drive to Celista Winery and very central to many hiking trails.

Thursday nights there is live music and market just down the street. Saturday mornings there is a outdoor market in sorrento just a 5 minute drive. The space
Located just steps across the road from the private beach our RV is new, clean and fully stocked all you need to do is bring your own bedding and towels. A new comfortable queen size mattress in the master with double sized bunkbeds and a pull out couch gives you lots of room. The RV is equipped with Wifi, Disney+ and Netflix. You will have access to a deck to have group dinners with picnic table and a fire pit (restrictions permitting) and a BBQ to cook meals on. On the upper level we have provided a propane fire fire pit. The RV Resort has its own dock (pick up and drop off only) and swim dock. It comes with 4 Adirondack seating chairs. Beach chairs not provided as they have been taken or ruined by guests in the past. The site is just a 1 min walk to the playground and showers.

Please keep in mind you are still camping, so bring your own bedding, towels, tolietries chairs, beach toys ect with you.

We are offering a camping experience, but with all the ameniities of home, with our 30' RV. We Overlook beautiful Mara Lake, in the community of Swansea Point. The property is 6 km from downtown Sicamous and the public beach in Sicamous, 15 minutes from 2 golf courses and quad trails. We have ample parking for your boat or quad trailer.

Full bathroom, we request renters use the parks showers because we are not on sewer but have a service that will empty the tanks whenever needed. Bathing a small child is ok. The park has heated resort washrooms with showers, on-site laundry and Wi-Fi. Private beach on the lake with a pier and platform to swim from and play on. Located in Celista, BC, on the shores of Shuswap Lake. Safe, secure gated community. . New boat launch within 1/2 km. Our RV park requires that all guests sign a Rules and general information agreement, which has to be submitted before the rental.

Our trailer is nestled on a 2.5 acre residence filled with mature trees and open grass. You will access your rental through your own private driveway and enjoy your own private lawn detached completely from the main residence. The trailer has a full bathroom and full kitchen/dining with one private bedroom sporting a queen bed. There is a hide a bed in the main area, which is ideal for kids. There is a TV with Amazon prime and WiFi access as well. Outside you can enjoy the large deck with BBQ and outside dining. There is a fire pit (fire bans permitting) and fire wood can be provided by host. Being so close to the beach and marina make this a very desirable location.

Sofa bed is not ideal for adults but great for kids.
Trailer is set up and ready to enjoy. Bedding, towels, soap etc. All you should need to bring is your luggage!

The space
This RV is 29ft equipped with a queen bed, 2 super sized bunks, fold down couch, bathroom with a large shower and A/C of course. On the property there is also a bunkie with a queen bed, tv & A/C. This unit has everything you need to prep and cook to dine in, including the BBQ & grill on the deck. The outside has a lounging area with a TV all under a gazebo and also dining if you want to eat outside. Small little grassy area in the back corner for kids or pets.
The lot only has enough room for 2 smaller vehicles. If extra parking is needed, you can park in visitor parking by the laundry facility or the grassy & rock area up front (to the right of the gate when you come in)if you are bringing a boat you can check with the office to see if they have any space available to rent or check out one of the nearby marina’s.

There is also washroom/shower & laundry facility on site. The laundry is 2.50 a load, so 5.00 to wash and dry (the office does not give out change for this) & it’s an honour system. You put your money in the lock box please.

Please note that, due to the lot’s proximity to the lake (within 100 meters), it is not connected to a sewer line. However, a complimentary honey wagon service is available. Guests must be present to connect the hose when service is provided (24 hours’ notice required). Disposable gloves and detailed instructions are provided for your convenience.

Resort Check-In Requirements
All guests must check in at the resort office upon arrival. During check-in, your phone number will be added to the gate system for access. To streamline the process, please submit a photo of your driver’s license and vehicle license plate numbers prior to arrival; this information will be verified at check-in.

If you’re unable to arrive during check-in hours, please contact the office directly with your estimated arrival time so arrangements can be made to meet you.

Resort Rules & Regulations
• Speed Limit: 10 km/h within the resort. A $100 fine will be issued by the resort for any reported speeding violations, payable by the guest.
• Pets & Vehicles: A maximum of 2 animals and 2 vehicles per site is permitted, in accordance with resort bylaws.
• Smoking & Vaping: Smoking or vaping is not permitted in or near the trailer. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must do so at least 50 feet away. Evidence of smoking or vaping inside (including odors, ashes, or burns) will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee. This policy ensures a clean, comfortable space for all guests.

Waiver Form Requirement
All guests are required to read and sign the resort’s waiver agreement prior to check-in. This will be sent to you in advance of your stay.

The space
Super cute and fully stocked 23 foot new gulf stream RV. Full queen bedroom. The dinette drops down into a single 6ft bed and sofa opens in a 4 foot square love seat size futon. Separate 2 piece bath with shower across the hall.
Our sister business Sicamous Houseboats has a new beautiful beach park that is available to all the campers in Mara Campground and RV park where our camper is located. Paddle boards and kayaks for two will be stored lakeside for your exclusive use.

Guest access
To the public washrooms, onsite parking and share the beach park with our guests and family that is across the road. The beach park has a new food truck on site that has best hotdogs in town. There is a front desk that can sell souvenirs and you can rent Jet skiis and boats. Have your own boat? We can rent you a slip for your stay. You can fill up right from our Docks too! We supply paddle boards and kayaks as part of your stay. Bring a fishing rod; our beach is one of the best spots to fish from on Mara lake. Don't forget your fishing licence though!

Other things to note
The town of Sicamous is getting a new bridge! very exciting for the future but it is causing some disruptions. The lot located beside the campground is the quarry for debris from the bridge site. Dump trucks are working thru the night with back up beacons and loud bangs from their trailers. If you are a light sleeper this is not the campground for you this summer.

A lovely “AT DOCK” Houseboat Vacation awaits you on beautiful Mara Lake in the interior of British Columbia.
Sunshine and warm water abound. A great jumping off point to check out Salmon Arm and lots of other quaint little towns.
You can hike up Quest Mountain and see a spectacular view of the Sicamous Narrows, Mara Lake and of course the town of Sicamous itself.

The space
The boat itself will sleep 6 comfortably with 2 on the double bed in the main bedroom, 3 adults can sleep comfortably in the penthouse and the couch is also a sofa bed.

If the kids like to tent it, they can set up a tent on the top deck, (just don’t try to pound stakes into the top deck... :0

There is one bathroom with endless hot water with the hot water on demand but with the lake so warm in July and August, I don’t know that you’d want to use the shower, just jump in the lake.

All of the basics, pots and pans, cutlery, plates, bowls and cups are on board.
A coffee press is there for your use as well.

A TV and DVD player are on board as well if you want to wind down from your days activities and watch a movie. No cable or streaming, just a DVD player and USB port if you want to watch something.

If you have a ski boat, you are welcome to bring it along, NEC, and you can tie it up to the dock, first come first serve as I may have another guest on land using it.

As Noted, the cleaning fee is refundable. I've had a number of issues with people not knowing how to use an RV toilet or not using it properly...Yuuck!
So if the boat is nice and clean, and the toilet has been used properly, your cleaning fee is happily refunded.

Parking is available at my house, just up from where the boat is moored.

Other things to note
As noted, this is an At Dock Houseboat Vacation.

But if you wish, for an extra charge, we can take you out for a day trip on the houseboat.

Leave between 9 and 10am and back by approximately 6pm, (weather permitting).

Price is $395 for the day and you provide lunch if possible for me and my wife.

This does not have to be booked in advance but please let me know at the time of booking if you are considering a day trip as, depending on the date of your booking, we may not be available.

I also have a pontoon boat available for a 1/2 day or full day trip as well. This would be with me piloting the boat, (sorry, I won't rent the boat out, but there are boat rentals available in the channel as well as at the Salmon Arm warf).
The price would be $350 for a full day or $250 for about a 4 hour outing. The pontoon boat has a diving board on it and I have a tube as well that I can pull a rider on, NEC.

Please note: on the pontoon boat there are strict restrictions as to the type of food/drinks that I allow on board. Anything with even the possibility of staining the upholstery or carpeting won't be allowed.
