Our home backs up to a wildlife refuge, so it is very serene and private feeling.

We have 3 cats, so if you are allergic please beware since all vents are shared. We take the cats outside in the backyard daily, so you might run into them/us. Our 4 legged creatures are most active in the wee hours of the night... so you might hear them playing and meowing when the rest of us are sleeping 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

- "The place is exactly like the pictures shown. It seemed to be in a safe area. There is a kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms. The property was clean and Ernest was great to work with. He was very on top of messaging me when I had questions. There is a washer and dryer which was very helpful because we were here for a soccer tournament. It is in a neighborhood so it was great being able to walk our dog every morning. Target and Walmart are very close plus several restaurants if needed. We are centrally and conveniently located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Arvada just minutes from the Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, the Indian Tree Golf Course, and beautiful Majestic View Park. We are 2 miles from Old Towne Arvada with many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and the new light rail station with service to downtown Denver. We are a 25 minute drive to Downtown Denver, Boulder, Golden and Red Rocks Amphiteatre. If you are working at Interlocken or Broomfield, we are even closer.

We have a dog and a cat, but please, don’t bring your pets. You need to know in case you have allergies, because our pets have been in the apartment. This is a non- smoking unit. There are many affordable and convenient pet boarding facilities within a short radius and we will recommend if you ask.

Upon arrival, guests may fit up to 2 cars or even an RV in the driveway spaces just outside the unit. While the outside patio is not quite conducive to morning coffee, the scenic Lake Arbor Park is absolutely worth the 5 minute walk. Just two blocks west, the golden sunrises and sunsets against backdrop of mountains cannot be beat.

The neighborhood:
Lake Arbor Park is a must visit! The long walk around the lake is gorgeous and relaxing. There’s a stellar playground for kiddies, basketball court, and several cantilevered decks over the water with benches for enjoying the view. Sunset and sunrise pictures recommended. It’s a quick 10 minute zip over to Olde Town Arvada for downtown restaurants, bars, and shopping to enjoy, as well as just 20 minutes to Denver, Boulder, Golden, or Red Rocks. Hosts are happy to give further recommendations upon inquiry!

Other details:
The closest grocery store, King Soopers, is quite large and just a 2 minute walk! Sakana Sushi & Ramen and Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters are two of our close-by favorites. Also, smoking of any kind inside the unit is absolutely prohibited as we have a strict no-smoking policy with enforced fee. The house includes 2 other units in addition to yours. While the walls are well-insulated, this is an absolutely no-parties house. Please respect your fellow occupants: quiet hours between 9:30pm and 8am. For security, there are three outside cameras around the house, all of which aim toward the street and away from the unit.

- "We stayed at this property for a week in July. We chose it for location - my husband took the train into downtown Denver for work (super convenient - just 10+ minute walk to the Arvada light rail station), while I used the desk area in one of the bedrooms to work from home while we were there. Lovely property and great, quiet neighborhood. Super clean! Decor was modern/stylish yet comfortable. Excellent amenities - owner has thought of everything! Bed and bedding super comfortable, well-stocked kitchen, newer washer/dryer, plentiful bathroom supplies - I could go on! Our small dog loved the nice grassy backyard, and walking her in the neighborhood was pleasant. Easy walk or drive to Old Town Arvada with great restaurants and shops. It was very hot the week were there (we used to live in Denver and this is mostly typical for July), so we were grateful for good air conditioning and a nice seating area in the backyard to hang out in the evenings when it finally cooled off a little. There were some communication glitches initially with booking, and later with check-in information, but this was I think largely due to owner and property manager newly working together. These issues were resolved and had no impact on our overall stay; I think going forward it is likely to be fine for future renters - owner and property manager are both great. Highly recommend this property, and we are looking forward to coming back in the future!"
