The hospitality of the two women working was above average and the rooms were absolutely adorable and I appreciated the fresh tulips in our room. After perusing around the city, this is the only place i would stay, it is upscale while keeping the integrity of the time period."

Once you have completed your booking you will be asked to complete guest verification, a rental agreement and house rules through third-party provider Truvi. You will also be given the choice between a $500 security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver; this is required. They will contact you via email and/or text to complete the process. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in. Minerva's Rest is a beautiful, luxurious, Victorian Era house in the unique town of Bisbee, Arizona. Built in 1905, the house features two bedrooms, a complete kitchen, one bathroom and a large open floor plan (and no cleaning fee). There are beautiful Brazilian Koa hardwood floors throughout the house, and each room has its own high efficiency wall mounted heating/cooling unit. The house is tastefully decorated with the work of our many local artists. Minerva's Rest also features beautiful outdoor spaces, off street covered parking, an EV charger, and none of Old Bisbee's famous stairs. A keyless entry lock allows guests a convenient self-check in. And, we offer discounts to active military, veterans, first responders, and law enforcement!

There are two large and comfortable bedrooms. The front bedroom exudes the home's original 1905 character with a beautiful tin ceiling, a large bay window, and restored period furnishings. There is plenty of light from three windows and a skylight, and beautiful custom crafted closet doors. And for those chilly nights, or when you’re just in the mood, both bedrooms have their own electric fireplace!

The large chef kitchen has everything you need for a leisurely breakfast or a full gourmet meal, and makes the home ideal for long term stays! All the appliances you need – oven, gas range top, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer, coffee makers, blender, toaster, as well as dishware and utensils and more are provided. The dining room table can seat five. And, there is a complete and well stocked coffee bar with K-Cup maker, a drip coffee maker, and a French Press.

The spacious bathroom features a beautiful walk-in shower, a sky light, a separate make up vanity, and a custom one of a kind hand painted claw foot tub. A full set of towels and washcloths, as well as bath products are provided.

The front porch has a small table and chair set for you to watch Bisbee stroll by. For more seclusion the back yard offers a quiet grotto feel featuring a large deck, a flagstone patio, a gas grill, and complete outdoor seating. Enjoy the cool evenings on the flagstones around a firepit!

Solution: bring a sleep mask :-) We really couldn't have found a better place to celebrate our anniversary and would book it again if we go back to Bisbee. The Shackleton home is a modern house in the center of Old Bisbee .The living room has high ceiling and real wood-burning fireplace. Beautiful patio accessed from living room through 12' opening bi-fold doors.The two bedrooms have French doors opening to the patio so when everything is open, outside and inside seem to merge. Bedrooms and bathrooms are in two separate wings of house that affords extra privacy when two couples are staying. The view from the patio is towards downtown and looks directly at the mountains, particularly the iconic 'B' mountain which is straight ahead. Downtown is a 5min walk, max. There are about 12 gentle wide steps to the property. There is off street parking for two compact cars.
The house is built of Rastra and the walls are 11” thick which offers good insulation; AC in both bedrooms only. Each bedroom has its own bathroom close by.
The town has good restaurants and bars in short walking distance from house in both directions, about 200 yards, 5 min walk. Food store High Desert Market just a few minutes walk away.

This spacious 2300 square foot, 4-bedroom home sleeps 8 and is centrally located in historic Old Bisbee. Please note this home is NOT recommended for anyone having trouble climbing stairs! Also note that it is a narrow mountain road to get here. Several popular restaurants are an easy 7- minute walk. The entire house has heat/AC mini-split units so each room can be set with the temperature you want. There are many garden areas with multiple patios, from which to enjoy outstanding mountain views and stars. Each of the 3 Queen bedrooms have access to the outside patios through French doors and share a full bath. Upstairs is a King bed suite with a loft sitting area, bath and access to a balcony. Customers often remark on how comfortable the beds are. Cook together in the large, well-equipped kitchen. Nicely decorated, having an Asian theme of wood and earth tones, featuring many items from Japan and local artists. Be amazed by one of a kind wrought iron sculptures all over the property, featuring multiple Dragons. Our Mexican Brick Casita is waiting to welcome you. Situated 3.5 miles from downtown Bisbee in the Warren area of Bisbee; this quiet peaceful location is an opportunity to enjoy the hustle and bustle of "Old Bisbee" and then hop in your car for the 10 minute return, and relax. Enjoy the hundreds of birds living in nearby trees, the quiet, and church bells on Sunday morning.

There are no disappointments here. Every effort has been put into La Casita (which really is made of Mexican brick called "burnt adobe"), economical pricing, the grounds and the comfortableness of the Casita as well as an abundance of linens and items to make your stay as wonderful as possible.

Immaculate, this 700 square foot Casita offers a private, peaceful setting for birdwatchers, hikers, bike riders or simply folks wanting to get away from it all for a few days. There is plenty of parking (and room for RV Parking should you require it). Just let us know in advance if you are driving an RV.

There is a restaurant 1/2 block away, and we are located a short 10 minute drive from Old Bisbee. . We also recommend the Lavendar Jeep Tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and you won't have to worry about getting stuck up on the mountainside when the road abruptly ends! Ahh, the charm of Bisbee.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator and stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and anything else you may need. All linens are provided with extra blankets or pillows should you require them. The master bedroom offers a queen size bed with a new pillow top mattress, plenty of storage space and drawer space. There are also 2 folding floor futons for small children. In the laundry room cabinet you will find extra bedding and games for the family to use. In the living room you will find several comfortable areas to read with books for your use; some from local authors. The bathroom has been completely remodeled with wood wainscot and an abundance of large bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. If you enjoy sending postcards or writing there is a desk provided in the Bedroom. Sun pours into the living room every morning creating a light and bright environment. This little house represents the great Bisbee vibe and is in a nice location in the Warren area in Bisbee. A fantastic little breakfast/lunch cafe right next door. The most outstanding things are the host, who is the nicest person. I left my blouse and she mailed it to me. The bed is quite possibly the most comfy bed we have ever had in a rental property. And, there is a little precious courtyard outside that is a perfect place to sit outside in the morning with coffee, or to have a Happy Hour and relax in the evening. We love it and will be back."

8.9.5 Restrictions: Maximum Guest Limit; Noise; and Application of Existing Law
A The maximum number of adult tourists, transients or occupants allowed on the Vacation Rental or Short-Term Rental property at any one time is limited to no more than two adults per sleeping room plus two, additional adults in the Vacation Rental or Short-Term Rental.

The Owner, Tourist or Transient shall not produce noise that is intermittent or continuous for a period of at least 15 minutes, which travels beyond the property line, and disturbs the peace and order of the neighborhood or a person of ordinary sensibilities. The Owner, Tourist or Transient shall not create noise that is intermittent or continuous between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m which exceeds the property line, and disturbs the peace and order of the neighborhood or a person of ordinary sensibilities. C. The Owner, Tourist and Transient shall comply with all State, County and City laws,
codes and regulations.

Like most older homes in Bisbee, this home is quaint with several modern updates thoughtfully made by the previous owners. A covered screened porch greets guests as they make their way back from the adventures of the day. As you enter the home an eclectic blend of modern meets vintage. The kitchen provides all you need to prepare a 4 star meal... if you brought along, or are a 4 star chef. Keurig, toaster, microwave and Cuisinart cookware will help make your stay more practical. Both bedrooms are equipped with a full bed each. Not a queen. Both beds are full beds. The beds came from Aunt Cissie's boarding house out of Kokomo Colorado (no longer in existence). Aunt Cissie's sister, Helen, was the mother of Clarence Malley, a one time Police Chief here in Bisbee. The bathroom features a granite countertop and a walkin shower, sorry no clawfoot tub, but just as effective. Last but not least...almost no stairs and a convenient store across the street.

It is an early 1900's miner's home that has been adapted to expose optimal light and space. Walking trails through a mountain oak hillside begin directly above the house. The house is comfortable, quiet, and private.

The house includes a secluded veranda, queen-size bed, a loft with a queen mattress, a full kitchen, and a bathroom with claw-foot tub that you step over and into to shower. Our home has a peaceful atmosphere which should make you feel at ease.

The street directly in front of the home has limited parking on a thin one way street with barely room for two lanes. If you have a smaller car, you can park almost directly in front of the home. However, we often park on a lower level parking area and walk a 1/2 block. That’s the charm of Bisbee: small streets, alleyways and so many stairs. You shouldn’t have an issue unless you are accustomed to parking feet from your living room.

At the home you’ll find a front yard area and pergola with seating and fantastic views. Inside you’ll find two bedrooms, living room/dining room area, fully stocked kitchen and two bathrooms: one with a Jacuzzi tub and the other with a shower.

But outside, around town, you’ll find all kinds of treasures. - "Located well above the taller buildings of Old Town Bisbee, this terrific property quickly became a pleasant oasis during our busy visit. Yes, there are stairs, some of them steep. Yet each time we climbed, the journey seemed shorter than before, and we discovered we weren't breathing nearly as hard when we stepped inside. It didn't take long to feel healthier than when we arrived! The view is perfect, high enough to get a panoramic view of the surrounding hillsides and stately buildings of Bisbee, but just a few steps away from the energy of downtown with its many shops and restaurants. The room was just right in its size and furnishings. We enjoyed the quiet space inside, but often went outside to sit on the veranda overlooking the town, as well as an outdoor patio nestled in the trees. - "Only drawback for me were all the stairs. I wasn't aware that Bisbee was built this way, i.e., lots of stairs and no other way of getting up the hills! The App for the apartment did show some stairs, but it wasn't clear just how many from that, and I did find that a bit daunting, having just gotten over surgery. But overall, the place was really great! Had every amenity, and it was very cozy. Great place for one person or a couple (probably younger than me). LOL! "

This place has been around since 1904-1906, and it’s been through a lot—like all Bisbee homes, it’s got a few quirks, but we’ve updated it to keep you comfy and safe. The house has a bit of that “Bisbee lean” (you’ll see what we mean when you get here), but locals call it "Bisbee Level."

Cozy Vibes: We’ve added fireplace-like heaters in three rooms to keep things toasty in the cooler months. ACs go in the windows during the summer. The vintage stove is a dream to cook with. The screened porch is the perfect
spot for your morning coffee or at the kitchen table with the hummingbirds buzzing around. It’s quiet, private, and surrounded by nature. You’ll love it.
Walking Distance to convenience: The Circle K is just a quick walk for snacks or ice, and the High Desert Market is great for wine and cheese (because who doesn’t love that?).

Keeping it Safe

You’ll notice we don’t allow candles, incense, grills, or anything with flames. That’s because Bisbee homes are old, and most of them are made of wood—so no fire, please! We’re talking even the smallest flame is a no-go. Gummies or vape? Sure. Just no joints or bowls. It’s a bummer, we know.

Wildlife & Critters

Heads up: We’re in the high desert, so you might see a javelina or two around here. They aren’t friendly, so don’t leave trash outside! We also do our best to keep the creepy crawlies out, but if you see something, let us know privately. No one likes pests, and we’re on top of it.

( 2 teenage boys) We walked up a concrete path behind main house and guest house felt very secluded and private. The space was clean and well organized. What we LOVE & Highlights:

The property is historic, charming, and modern. Although it’s small (812 sq ft), it feels like “home”, and the outside areas make it seem bigger. This house is perfect for couples, a small friends or family group, or a solo trip. We welcome one well behaved dog with a fee. Please let us know when you book so we can provide instructions as there are a few additional instructions for our puppy pals.

We are locals and take a lot of care with this house—we make sure everything is up to date and CLEAN and comfortable for guests. We pride ourselves on being responsive and keeping the house to high standards. We didn't want a cookie cutter rental with thrown together furniture, and you'll feel that when you stay here.

Pickleball courts, the Farmers Market, and the historic Warren Ballpark are all within a quick walking distance. Grab a burrito and coffee at the Warren Peace cafe and explore Vista Park for a lazy day nearby. Have a beer at Warren’s local brewery and enjoy a sensational dinner at the Copper Pig—just down the street. You’ll love it here and we hope Bisbee infects you just like it did us. Our favorite thing to do is walk to the Farmer's Market on Saturdays: my favorites include local goat cheese, micro greens, hummus, and fresh tamales! Everything you need to enjoy the afternoon in the backyard is at your fingertips. :)

The home contains two bedrooms, each with queen beds (and new memory foam mattresses), private closets, and blackout curtains. Fans and A/C in each bedroom makes sure you stay cool or warm and can be personally adjusted to suit your style. Each room has an alarm clock/charging set up. The bedrooms share a Jack and Jill full bath between them (shower AND bathtub), while the living room also has a half bath right at the entryway which allows for additonal privacy. While one bedroom is slightly bigger with a walk in closet, the other has a private entrace to the screened-in porch out front. Each has their own benefits and charm—choose your favorite! Heating is available not only with mini splits, but floor heating as well—keeping your toes nice and warm in the winter months.

The peaceful living room was built for conversation or reading after a day exploring nearby downtown or the area trails. Log in to your Netflix account using the smart TV and make yourself a drink or coffee.

The kitchen is up to date, fully stocked with essentials, with a butcher block countertop and subway tiles. Make dinner, coffee, or heat up leftovers—everything you could want is on hand. Stainless steel appliances complete the updated kitchen area.

There is a washer and dryer located discreetly off the kitchen area in a well placed & hidden closet.

The best feature of the home is the HUGE screened in front porch, which provides a view of the nearby mines and mountains. Relax on the porch with a drink or the backyard seating area and enjoy the funky Bisbee neighborhood this home is part of.

The backyard has a seating area and a propane grill for those looking to cookout. The backyard is fenced with privacy fencing and perfect to for keeping the littles and a dog contained.

Young children should be minded at the property due to high steps in the front of the house which creates a falling hazzard, and of course, unpredictable desert wildlife which is just part of living in Arizona. We love to have our children visit the house, but we keep the privacy door locked at the front to prevent injury.

House contains refrigerator, smart television, shower/bathtub, 5G (fast) internet, coffee maker with all the fixings, oven/stove, microwave and washer/dryer. Local pottery, art, and hiking guides will complete your stay and make it totally original. This place is our favorite place to unwind, we've put a lot of love into it, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. It's one of a kind.

Note: this home does not have a dishwasher. It’s just a little too old to accommodate one.
