- "This is truly a unique place to stay. You feel as though you are on a remote island in Maine. The views are incredible and the Egrets are fun to watch. The lighthouse cabin is unique but understand that it is VERY small. If you are looking for a VRBO that will allow you to kick back in a chair and/or a hot bath (there is only a 3 gallon hot water heater for a quick shower), this would not be your ideal destination. If you experience unfortunate weather during your stay (as we did) and need to stay indoors, you are very limited in what you can do. Also, cooking options are limited as there is no stove/oven and the fridge is a dorm fridge. There is a grill outside but once again, if you experience bad weather, that won’t be an option for you. If you don’t mind these limitations - then you will enjoy this uniquely wonderful VRBO! "

- "This is a "motel", not a hotel. However, it was one of the most spacious "small" rooms in whch we ever stayed. The bed was a little hard for me but great for my wife. Now the toilet seat was not secured. One of the nuts on the seat was the wrong type and did not secure it.
