It was so convenient for taking our dog out for bathroom break and there was lots of area for a dog to walk and go to the bathroom. They provided potty bags at a post right outside by the grass. The room was clean and there were high ceilings so the room felt big. Our king size bed was comfortable. And the pull out sofa wasn’t too comfy but it was enough for our kid. There was microwave, stove top and a big fridge in the room so it was very convenient for cooking. Breakfast was also amazing. Very fresh with lots of variety. We stayed this hotel for skiing at the Boyne Mountain and it was fine about 20mins away. It is well worth the price. Highly recommend!"

- "Fantastic spot for northern Michigan golf!" - "We have started a bit of a tradition to come up one weekend in Jan/Feb over the last few years. We have stayed in this unit twice now and it might be the best unit in the building. Its right on the corner, the shortest walk to the ski lodge and the lifts/slopes. The sledding hill is also just outside and there's a bar on both sides of the building for after hours. The hills are all on the easier side so its a great place for people to learn to ski/snowboard and the back slopes are fun for more advanced riders (and there's a bar/lodge at the bottom of the hill)."

The cabin is equipped with movies, little games, a puzzle, and books. It has a firepit in the back yard that is surrounded with nature and a great yard for your pet to play. So even if you just want to chill at the cabin you won't be bored.

This cabin is quaint, but near many of the major attractions and amenities Gaylord has to offer. You get the best of both worlds.

The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view of both the canopy and lake.
This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to turn it on the gas fireplace:

•Safety First: Before attempting to light the fireplace, make sure the area around the fireplace is clear of any flammable materials, and ensure there is proper ventilation in the room.
•Locate the Gas Valve: Find the gas valve for the fireplace. This is typically located either inside the fireplace itself or in close proximity. The gas valve is a knob that you'll need to turn to allow gas flow to the fireplace.
•Turn the Gas Valve to "On": Rotate the gas valve knob to the "On" position. This will allow gas to flow to the fireplace, but the flame is not ignited yet.
•Access the Ignition System: You mentioned a red button on the bottom panel, which is likely the ignition button. This button is used to create a spark that will ignite the gas.
•Press the Ignition Button: Press the red ignition button a few times while observing the pilot light area. The pilot light is a small flame that should ignite when you press the button. It may take a few attempts for the pilot light to catch, so be patient.
•Pilot Light Ignition: Once the pilot light ignites, keep holding the ignition button for about 30 seconds. This allows the thermocouple to heat up and signal that it's safe to release the button.
