The living room, adjacent to the kitchen, features a smart TV with Direct TV. Off the kitchen on the lakeside is an enclosed porch area, perfect for morning coffee. The grill and fire pit was a fantastic amenity to be able to roast s’mores and burgers all weekend. The location was walkable to all the local places and a quick drive to traverse city. The house was clean, easy to check in, had enough basic amenities, the beds were comfy, the Wi-Fi was fast. I’d love to come back to this property."

The unit has 2 bathrooms - 1/2 bath & a bathroom with shower. A sandy beach is right across the (residential street), Sunset views over Grand Traverse Bay and use of the heated in-ground pool and on site coin operated laundry area.

All the little details were taken care of, with comfy chairs to relax in, touch lamps in the bedroom, a stocked K-cup rack and teas, and even a low glow light by the stairs to the bathroom. Great weather and great time. Only note is the guy renovating the house next store. Bit loud late a night demoing and left the exterior lights on one night that shined into the bedrooms (get some back out drapes for that side maybe?) Also he had a chocolate lab that was often not leashed. (My daughter is scared of dogs). Thankfully he was only there 2 of the days we were there. And know that is outside of the owners control. (Last year we lucked out and neither neighbor was there all week). Thanks again for renting out your house again to us!"

Please enjoy our quaint crooked little 1885 cottage that was the carriage house for the historic house across the road. Updating completed Fall 2019 with new flooring, cabinets, appliances, windows and bathroom fixtures. We are 100 yards from the beach, river and park. Two blocks to great eateries, Shorts Brewery, and quaint shopping downtown. 10 miles to Flintfields Equestrian Park in Williamsburg, or our many inland lakes, and 18 miles to Traverse City.
