This cozy, rustic, log cabin sits lakeside on Crooked Lake. With one bedroom (full-size bed) and a pullout couch (queen-sized bed) in the living area, this is the ideal up-north getaway for a couple or small family. Located just minutes from Petoskey and Harbor Springs, this is a great, central location up north, and on the water. This is one of several cabins and cottages that share appx 200' of waterfront. Small bathroom. This is one of the only cottages in the association with central heat and a washer and dryer for guests. Dockage available for pontoon or fishing boat (only 1 trailer parking area for all cabins, please RESERVE with me before bringing your trailer so I can reserve the parking area, dock is in mid-May through mid-Oct). Cabin is 350 sq ft and features an idyllic setting to enjoy incredible sunrises and great sun throughout the day. No A/C, but great lake breezes. Unlike some options in the area, we provide a full sized refrigerator, stove top for cooking, and a gas furnace for chilly nights - plus outdoor grill, firepit, and relaxing views. Pedal boat available for summer use.

It's time to RELAX... Wake up to fresh morning breezes, pop in a k-cup in the keurig, and enjoy a cup of coffee in an adirondack chair overlooking the lake. Connect to the bluetooth radio and play some music while birdwatching with binoculars. Make some burgers on the grill and sit around the picnic table for lunch. Take the pedal boat out and visit the sandbar for some water fun (located right across from the cabin). Then cozy up around a campfire and tell stories about what it was like when you were a "kid at the family cabin".

Located minutes from The Highlands at Boyne and Nubs Nob. Just steps away is a wide, paved bike path connecting Charlevoix, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, this area, and north towards Mackinaw--great for biking, running, or walking. The "North Western State Trail" portion, can be found right across the street from the cabin. This trail offers a 7.5-mile stretch of scenic 10-foot wide paved asphalt path - great for bicycles, strollers, roller skates, and more. The trail begins at Spring Lake Park on M-119, skirts the shores of four inland lakes, passes through the lakeside hamlets of Conway and Oden.

Crooked Lake is a great all-sports lake with ample year-round fishing, great waterskiing, and lots of areas to explore. Crooked Lake is part of the inland waterway that connects to Lake Huron through Burt and Mullett Lakes. It is a great lake for fishing (year round), kayaking, paddleboarding, or just boating and swimming.

This Cottage on the Sturgeon Rvr provides a private, waterfront setting, located on a navigable section of the Sturgeon River across from a wooded area of Burt Lake State Park. This location allows easy access to Burt Lake, the Indian River, and the Inland Waterway! You can tie your boat/jet ski right up to the bulkhead and not have to hassle with trailering to the launch site each day (note a bridge limits boat height to 55 inches, and an outboard or I/O is recommended). Two kayaks are available for your use on the Sturgeon during your stay.

The property is nestled within Indian River’s village limits making easy access to I-75, US27, and M68. It is a short distance to Mackinaw City/Mackinaw Island, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix and Cheboygan and all they have to offer.

The new casemate windows are easy to operate and provide a soothing cross breeze for those opting to enjoy Northern Michigan’s fresh air and cool nights. A new heating and air conditioning system has been installed for those hotter days/nights in August. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living areas.

The Master Bedroom, Moose Room, has a beautiful view of the Sturgeon River, comfy queen bed and a new half bath. The second bedroom, Sturgeon Room, has large windows along two walls to provide plenty of light and a great view of the river and wooded riverbank. All windows have blinds to block out the sun and provide privacy.

The living room has a large picture window facing the Sturgeon River and has been arranged with a comfy L-Shaped Sofa bed with queen mattress, a new Flexsteel motorized recliner with USB, and a wall mounted Smart TV. The dining area boasts a beautiful view of Burt Lake, a table to seat 4 to 6, and a coffee station.

The newly remodeled kitchen has full-size Stainless-Steel Appliances, a hammered copper farm sink with industrial style faucet, and a cook's Pot Filler above the stove. The eye level microwave above the stove makes it easy to warm up left-overs and pizza slices. The dishes and glassware have a colorful trout theme. The silverware has hammered copper handles, reminiscent of the areas' copper mines.

The cottage lawn provides plenty of space for backyard BBQ's, Bonfire, Croquet, Corn Hole and fishing!

We really enjoyed the location which is extremely convenient right off of I 75 and on the sturgeon river just less than ~10 houses in from Burt Lake. We use the kayaks and the paddleboards, which was a lot of fun on the river. We brought a very large boat that is 22 feet long and quite deep and had a little bit of difficulty getting out into the lake, but nothing insurmountable. There were some spots that were very shallow, so just listen closely to directions and you should be fine if you are bringing a deep v boat. Both the owners are incredibly kind and helpful, which our kids who are between the ages of three and 10 commented on multiple times. And we would agree. Their dog is super sweet and great with kids too. The house itself is very updated with a well-stocked kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and the pull out couch fit two small kids no problem. Everything felt very high quality and thoughtful. Definitely not a rustic upper Michigan cottage. This is a very comfortable, upscale place to stay. We didn’t make it there but there’s also a nice beach just a block or so away. Easy to walk and accessible. Overall this was a great stay. I would highly recommend!!"

The second bedroom is also located in the upper level with two sets of twin bunk beds. The second full bathroom with laundry located off the two bedrooms. Dock for jumping into the water to swim, outdoor firepit for bonfires and smores, mooring for your boat and yard space to play – what more could you ask for on your summer vacation?
This cottage is a quick trip to many exquisite resort towns like Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Indian River. But don’t limit your trips to those – Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Island are a quick day trip too! This duplex is located on beautiful Burt Lake in Indian River just minutes from Petoskey, Gaylord, Mackinaw City. and Mackinac Island.
Burt Lake is a pristine, clear 17,300 acre lake that is part of the Inland Waterway of Crooked lake, Crooked River, Indian River, Mullett Lake, and the Cheboygan River to Lake Huron. The resort is a great location for families. The property has over 300 feet of shared frontage, a large grassy area for children to run and play, and a shallow area to swim. The association also features a swing set, basketball hoop, volleyball net, fire pit, and fish cleaning shed. This fully furnished cottage has a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and large deck. Dock has the best sunset views over the lake.

Nearby cities and towns: Petoskey, Gaylord, Mackinaw City, and the Mackinac Bridge to the UP are 30 minutes away,

Traverse City is an hour.

A shared renters dock is available for boats on a first come basis. One buoy is available per cottage for boats or jet skis, etc.

Cottage comes supplied with all dishes, pots and pans, silverware, cooking stove, microwave, refrigerator, gas grill, picnic table and deck chairs.
Guests must furnish their own towels and linens.

The Apple House is in a private location on 15 acres of woods and pasture land, set about 500 feet off of the road. The space is light and airy with skylights and ceiling fans, and central heat and air for your comfort. Enjoy the pastoral view from the sunroom, cook in the fully updated, well equipped kitchen, and enjoy your beverages from the wine fridge. There is a 55" Smart TV, a Xumo streaming device, and Spectrum TV and WiFi. This house is perfect for a small group or a family looking for an escape, but with all the comforts of home! There is a bedroom with a queen bed, a day bed in the living area, and in the sunroom full/full bunk beds and a sofa that converts to a twin bed. There is one bathroom with a tub/shower.
You will be 20 minutes from quaint downtown Petoskey, and the beautiful beach and dunes of Lake Michigan at the State Park. Indian River is 10 minutes away, as is Burt Lake State Park.

Host had instructions and labels for everything you could think of which was perfect, left nothing for us to need to figure out. Having two full bathrooms made it even better so nobody had to wait if one was in use. The location is perfect, just a short drive to Petoskey or Mackinaw City. And a quick 7 minute drive to Petoskey State Park. We loved our stay and will definitely book again when we are in the area."

The Cottage features a 100 foot dock for your boating needs and a nice size deck to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is a gas grille available for our outdoor cooking.

This cottage is conveniently between the beautiful Burt and Mullett Lake, and very close to many attractions including Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island and Mackinac Bridge. Mackinac Island can also be accessed by boat through the Indian River waterway.

This vacation home is a great location to enjoy Northern Michigan adventures all season long. In the summer enjoy fun on the water, hiking, bike trails, golfing and taking a stroll downtown to experience the fine dining, quaint shops and other entertainment within walking distance.
