A cozy cottage that sits on private Rosa lake known for it's amazing fishing. This 2 bedroom 1 bath home is perfect for a quiet getaway but close to many area attractions if you are looking for some action. Lawn chairs, picnic table and gas grill, are furnished at the rental. You can also enjoy the cozy outside patio with lights and lounge around the fire pit. A quiet large backyard with a shallow bottom which gradually drops off past the end of the dock or stay inside and cozy up by the fireplace and watch a movies on WIFI, VHS and DVD are available. Fully equipped kitchen facilities. We have 3 local restaurants opened limited hours serving pizza, smoked and boasted items a long with many other choices. Heartland trails are just six miles away in Stanton.

About Crystal Lake

Crystal Lake is a spring-fed, sandy-bottom lake known for its exceptional clarity and recreational variety. It’s 70 feet deep at its center but shallow along the shoreline—perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. The DNR public boat launch is conveniently located just east of the property.

Enjoy sailing, paddleboarding, fishing, or simply floating the day away from late March through late November on one of Michigan’s most beautiful inland lakes.

Just a short walk from the water (2 min, not lakefront). Crystal lake is 5.3 miles. The beach is 1/2 mile away or 11 min walk. Crystal raceway is 1 mile away. Large lot with a fire pit and patio. If you have a ranger or golf cart with orv stickers they are legal within the city limits. One bedroom with a full bed and twin over it. Sleeper sofa and sleeper chair in the living to sleep 3 more people.
There's a tv with DVD player and DVDs. There's also a fire stick and Roku TV. Slow paced water life. If you have a boat there's a sand bar and other areas that boats like to park and get out in the water. Most people in the village drive golf carts and orv's within the limits. There's a grocery store, restaurant, bar, movie theater, ice cream.... There's a place deeded to the house where you can anchor a boat for the day, but no dock or land ( you can only anchor the boat and walk back to the cottage). I have a camper on a second lot, so if I happen to be around when you visit, I'll gladly take you on a golf cart ride around the lake!
Please note that there's a water softener for HARD WATER, but some people don't like the sulfate (egg) smell. Also, it's a cottage near water, so there will be spiders/bugs.

Eco-Tourism in West Michigan! Enjoy 1200' of Private Frontage on minimally populated Grass Lake adjacent to hundreds of acres of State Land. Wildlife abounds on land and in the water. Migratory birds stop to rest awhile in spring and fall. Loons, ducks, cranes and a variety of 'backyard' birds nest nearby and are seen most days throughout the summer on the water and at the feeders. Our resident chipmunk may entertain you with his antics by day, and the deer often come down to the water in the evening. Raccoons, possum and muskrats are also common visitors.

This fully-stocked home with antique decor, table & board games, yard games, firepit area, charcoal BBQ, boats & old-fashioned bicycles encourages you to "un-plug" , retreat, relax and recharge! Although we do provide wireless internet and a smart TV, we hope you won't have the desire to use them.

Welcome to The Crystal Lake Cabin located in Crystal, Michigan only an hour away from Lansing and Grand Rapids. Our family-friendly place is a charming, cozy, rustic A-frame style, one bath cabin at the end of the quiet dirt drive. Take a five minute walk and have a picnic at our private dock or the beautiful Crystal Lake public beach during the day and end your evening by grilling dinner on the deck and a bonfire at night. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place.
The space
The Crystal Lake Cabin is a six person knotty-pine cabin with one main bedroom which has a queen-sized bed and four twin beds on the loft. It is located near the 724 acre all sports Crystal Lake in Montcalm County; one of the few lakes in mid-Michigan with crystal clear water and sandy bottom and many sand bars in the middle of the lake for shallow swimming. We have our own private lake access with a dock that is about a five minute walk from the cabin. If there is a day that you don’t want to be at the public beach, you can spend it at the dock with picnic lunch where it is a little more quiet. There are chairs available at the dock for your use as well as kayaks. Please do not sit in either boat that is anchored at the dock. Feel free to use the kayaks, but you MUST have life jackets on your person when using them. It is the law and for your safety. We have two adult life jackets at the cabin available for your use. Please return them to the cabin when you are done. You also might want to kayak earlier in the morning and on the edge of the lake when it isn’t as busy compared to the day.

If you bring a boat there is a public boat launch for you to use. Once in the water, you can anchor your boat near our dock you just need to bring it out of the water in the evening. Our driveway has plenty of space for two cars and a boat and trailer.

Enjoy grilling and eating out on the deck for your meals on those warm, sunny days! We have both a gas and charcoal grill for your use. There is also a fire pit, picnic table and chairs in the large side yard and a hammock in the front yard.

The inside of the cabin is cozy and compact and has everything you need to enjoy your stay! The kitchen is well-stocked and so is the bathroom. We have extra beach towels and bag for your use if you need them. There are a variety of small appliances that are always convenient to have in the kitchen. Coffee, tea and cocoa are provided!

Hang out on the giant, comfy couch for a family movie night with a tub of popcorn. We have family games, a Smart TV and access to Netflix and family friendly DVD’s if you are up for an old school movie night. The bathroom is rustic but clean with lots of storage and extra bath towels and amenities.

The main bedroom contains a comfortable queen-sized bed, a dresser, washer and dryer in the closet. There is also a window air conditioner for your use. The loft has four beds and a dresser. Please keep in mind that the loft stairs are steep so consider sleeping arrangements if you are bringing little ones under three years old or someone who might have difficulty climbing a ladder to get to the loft.

Crystal has lots to offer in the summer in addition to the beach! There is a local skating rink, an old theater downtown, as well as Crystal Motor Speedway. There is also B&C Golf Cart rental if you’d like to rent a golf cart for the day! Anderson & Girls Orchard is just a short drive if you’d like visit some farm animals with your little ones. Two favorite places to eat are Oliver’s Pizza and Ike’s Ice cream if you want to eat out one night. Blanchards grocery store and Family Dollar and Dollar General should have everything you need for your stay. If you’d like a larger grocery store, Meijer is only 25 minutes away in Greenville.

Please have fun, but no parties at the cabin. This is a family-friendly lake and neighborhood.

Come spend a week at Crystal Lake! The "Lake House" is the perfect cottage for you and your family to come spend some time swimming in the lake, or to stay while visiting someone you know! Recently remodeled in 2021 complete with central air conditioning. It has one floor with 3 bedrooms and one full bath. Back patio has a grill and smokeless fire pit as well as a front deck with a table and chairs. Lots of space for animals to run around outside and enough paved parking for 4 cars! Just a 30 second walk to the water. Our dock has plenty of space for several boats to tie up and stairs into shallow swimming area.
New in August 2023 Stacked washer and dryer with steam. There is also a clothes line if you prefer outdoor fresh.

Just a short walk from the water (2 min, NOT LAKEFRONT). Crystal lake is 5.3 miles. There is an access site you can anchor a boat at for the day (anchor, no dock or land, but you can anchor in the water and walk back to the cottage), the beach is 1/2 mile away, and raceway is 1 mile away. Lg. double lot is shared with the Seahorse Cottage. Camper is on the 2ND lot and they share a firepit. If you have a ranger or golf cart with orv stickers they are legal. Crystal lake is a 740 acre all sports lake located in Montcalm county. The water is beautiful & clear. There is a large shaded deck in the back along with a fire pit perfect for making smores and hobo pies. There is also a large deck on the lake side for sunning and enjoying the lake. Plenty of space for your paddle board, kayak or boat.

This is a brand new build for 2023 that sits right across the street of the north shore of Crystal Lake in Crystal, Michigan, (Please note: This is the Crystal Lake in Montcalm County - not Benzie County) 1700 square feet, 3 bedroom, 3 bath, with raised patio out front. Amazing views of Crystal lake. Sandy beach directly across the street. Less than 400 feet from the public boat launch.

Although we do not provide a boat, we do have a preferred boat rental service available that can drop off a nice pontoon boat turn-key.

Brand new stainless appliances, UltraHD 4K Smart TV's, and Fiber Optic High Speed Wifi Internet access provided.

There is also a brand new Weber grill, and a gas fire pit.

We do not allow any smoking, pets, or parties in or on the premises. (We live right next across the street)

Storms? Not a problem! In the case of a power outage, this property has a fully automatic standby generator!

About Crystal Lake:

Crystal Lake is a spring-fed, clean/clear lake with a sandy bottom. The lake is 70 foot deep at it's maximum, but is shallow on the lake shores and has one buoy-marked rock in the southeast section of the lake. The lake supports a mixed use of sail, power, and fishing activities from late March through late November.

Public access to Crystal Lake can be made via the DNR boat launch, conveniently located immediately to the east of this property.

- "Five STAR property stay. The home was very comfortable and meant our needs. We utilized the three bedrooms and bathrooms and was perfect for our guests stay. New build with all the amenities one would need. The owner stopped by twice to see how things were going and check on things which we thought was very nice. The place is brand new and very nicely decorated. Close to the downtown so if there was something we needed it was a quick trip to the grocery store or dollar store. We will rent again if the need arises and it's available. Some may hesitate on the price but you're getting a newly built home with all the ammenites in a great location on a lake. It would have cost more for two hotel rooms to accomodate six people and guests that stopped by to visit. Well worth the money! And the fact that the owner is close by and stops in to make sure all is well. "

Welcome to Crystal Water's Edge Cottage! This home is PERFECT for two families! Adults each in one of the formal bedrooms and a convertible couch, sofa bed, and futon for the kids! With no street to cross to get to the lake, the fun of the beautiful Crystal Lake is right out your door! ONE full and TWO half baths means a toilet on every level! No fighting for a bathroom! Fast fiber internet and central A/C make the inside just as comfortable for work or play!

Entry Level - The street level has two bedrooms. One with a KING bed and one with a QUEEN bed. There is a HALF BATH off the entry for the convenience of both bedrooms.

Mid-Level - Down a carpeted set of stairs, you will come to the Kitchen/Living area. The FULL BATH with a shower (no tub) is also on this level and a convertible sofa bed, and futon. Sit at the kitchen island for a snack, pull the pub table over if you need more room, or take it out on the adjacent composite deck to the outdoor dining table that can accommodate 6 people and a BBQ gas grill. Two padded loungers are also available for your relaxation. There is a TV with ROKU and all the apps, so you can log into your favorite streaming channels on the large TV inside. The kitchen has a dishwasher, full refrigerator, blender, toaster oven/air fryer, electric stove and oven, microwave, Keurig, and a drip coffee pot. Plenty of pots and pans and service ware - both for outdoor and indoor enjoyment.

Downstairs/Lake Level - Ahhhhhh, the LAKE awaits you! Just out this door, you have the beautiful Crystal Lake. Floaties, a Lily Pad are available for your convenience. Kayak rental on the lake. There is a brand new pullout sofa for guests and a small washer/dryer combo. The second HALF BATH completes this level and is very convenient while playing on the lake.

Linens and pillows included! A beach towel, bath towel, and washcloth per person also provided! One roll of paper towel, a kitchen sponge, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and one roll of toilet paper for each of the three bathrooms provided. Hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash also provided!

Not suitable for toddlers without constant supervision, due to water depth off seawall, 2nd story deck, and 3 levels of stairs.

Must receive prior host approval to tie a boat to the dock or anchor at the property. Proof of boat insurance will also be required. There is 35 feet of frontage that includes one dock.

No "day guests" allowed. No fireworks. Must be 25 years old to rent and renter must occupy the home for the duration of the rental. Total occupancy is limited to guests on original reservations, who must be disclosed at the time of reservation. Proper count also ensures sufficient linens and towels are available for you. Any guests beyond original reservations are considered unauthorized events and are strictly prohibited, resulting in immediate cancelation of the duration of your reservation. This applies not only to the home itself but also to the grounds, including the private waterfront and dock. Dock is guaranteed in only through September.
