Located on the popular all-sports Horseshoe Lake about an hour east of Grand Rapids, the Little Blue Bungalow sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms and has 1 bathroom. With a 24ft. private dock, you are able to bring your water vessels and dock them in view. And no worries trying to find a public launch, a private boat launch is just steps away. However, the property does come with 2 kayaks and a swimming raft! Although this property is located on Horseshoe Lake, you can access all 5 connecting lakes via waterway with a flat boat, canoe, or kayak, make a day's adventure for boaters!

Having a 3-seasoned screened-in porch with furniture allows you to enjoy the view in comfort. This home wouldn't be complete without a fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table to embrace the lake front views. In addition, the Little Blue Bungalow comes with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, water toys, board games, books, Wi-Fi, and a smart TV including Netflix and Hulu.

When it comes to suitability for multi-generational families, the area inside the cabin is absolutely ideal since it is a ranch setting, with just a few steps to reach the door facing the driveway. Still, if you want to walk down to the water's edge/ dock there is a significant incline. While there are small steps leading down to the water, there is NOT a railing. Please use caution. This walkway isn't suitable for anyone with balance concerns.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

The cottage, recently renovated, has 2 bedrooms, one with bunkbeds and the other has a queen size bed. The living area has two couches that could be used for sleeping.
There is a dining table, TV with a fire stick and internet is provided.
The bathroom has a walk in shower and is equipped with a hair dryer.
Linens and bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
Dish detergent and trash bags are provided and first time use of paper products(paper towel and toilet paper).
The kitchen has a small island with 2 bar stools and has a coffee maker, toaster, utensils and dishes. There are basic appliances with an electric stove and dishwasher.(no garbage disposal)
The patio has a table and chairs and a grill. There is a fire pit for small fires and plenty of firewood. The front yard also has 4 Adirondack chairs.
There are no laundry facilities.
You might see bald eagles, herons, kingfishers and often you will see or hear a loon. The sunsets are worth photographing!
Pets are not allowed and there is no smoking in the cottage.

Our cozy cottage getaway is located on Lincoln Lake in Gowen Michigan. Lincoln Lake is an all sports lake. It boast great fishing for bluegill, bass, walleye, and pike. Also pleasure boating, water sports, and swimming. Lincoln Lake does connect to other lakes by way of channels (Little Lincoln, Black Lake and Blue Lake).

It is located within 5-15 minutes of restaurants, golfing, soccer golf, frisbee golf, parks, libraries, ice cream parlor, gas station with convenience store, dollar store and much more. Located between Greenville and Cedar Springs. Rockford is 15-20 minutes away and Grand Rapids is only 25 minutes away. The cottage has two bedrooms, one full bath and a half bath. Sleeps 6 comfortably in either a king size bed, queen size bed or bunk beds. Open living room/dining room/kitchen. Many amenities included such as high speed internet/AppleTV/Hulu and Netflix, bedding and towels, dishes, Keurig coffee maker, washer and dryer, multiple chaise lounges and outdoor furniture, 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards with life jackets, fire pit (wood not supplied), gas grill, sandy beach and dock.

The open front deck gives a fabulous view of the sandy beach and the lake. The water front is shallow with a sandy bottom for at least 80 feet out. Fishing is great right off the dock. Perfect for kids. Boats are permitted and can be anchored right out front or tied to the dock. Boat launch is located a block away. Off street parking for two vehicles. Professionally landscaped and recently updated inside. Newly installed and updated water softener. Cottage sits on the west side of the lake to enjoy beautiful sunrises.

Spraying of Lake to control weeds and algae is done 4 times during the summer months. The dates are subject to change each season. Docks are provided between Memorial Day and Labor Day. All items in photos are subject to change. If you wish to book two weeks together, simply let us know. Weekend blocks are there only for cleaning crews to come in to prep for the next renter. The space:
Your space is a beautiful finished loft above the detached garage. The loft is fully finished with central heat and air conditioner. With a separate entrance and coded entry for your access. The loft space is detached from the main house that will be listed on VRBO soon! The loft space has a bedroom with queen bed, behind the queen bed (like a little cubby area) there is a slanted wall with a full size floor mattress. There is a smaller room (with the world decal) it has a trundle twin bed (2 twin mattresses) also have a pack-n-play for small children. Sheets and pillows are all provided. Very comfortable for 4 guests.

Come and Relax at the outdoor Tiki Bar (Year round use of the grill) outdoor area is complete with year round fireplace and gas heater. Relax in the Summer months on the sandy beach.!
In the winter if the lake is frozen you can clear an area for ice skating. (pack your ice skates! ) There is a sledding hill so bring your own sled if interested. The only shared space is when your outside but there’s plenty of space to just be yourself.

The fall and winter months are wonderful in the loft. Decorated for the seasons, you will enjoy the loft, with a wall fireplace to relax by and set to your liking. A 70” TV provide a theatre like experience in the cozy loft. Popcorn machine is for your use & includes a popcorn packet. Packet provided makes two batch’s of popcorn. Please do not dump all in at once.

Guest Hot Tub is private for guests use only, available for YEAR ROUND use. (No Children under age 16) Hot Tub hours 10am-11pm (please no smoking while in the hot tub) (no glass containers allowed) we have cups to use in the hot tub.

Sauna use is an extra fee ($35) because of the higher cost to run. The Heath benefits it gives is worth the little extra to use.

There is a hot tub available for year round use, and a sandy beach with chairs and an outdoor lounger. We have 4 outdoor chairs on the beach and a comfy outdoor lounger to relax on. Included with your stay you can use 5 kayaks, (1 Purple 2 Dark Blue 2 Lime Green& 1 Blue smaller child size, there is a 4 person paddle boat as well with a swim ladder for a nice day on the lake! There are also two stand up paddle boards, floats and sand toys all included to use with your stay! Outdoor heater and fireplace are for your use as well.
During the winter months we can have an Ice Skating area cleared on the lake if you ask. You will need to have your own Ice Skates) a sledding hill to the lake. So bring your sled.

There is a seasonal Ice Cream Spot called Charlie’s with a full menu of burgers, fries and many sweet treats, live music and dancing on Wednesday’s. Dollar General is close around the corner for many items you may need. There is a public frisbee golf, playground and picnic center very close by. Across from the Family Dollar there is a kick ball type Game Center that serves beer, wine, and outdoor seating. There are several golf courses nearby, and some cute downtown shopping areas. The sleeping nook behind the master bed is so nice that our teenage kids all wanted that spot. Comfortable beds. Updated, Crisp, Sharp. This lake house in the town of Sand Lake, Michigan has been recently updated and possesses many modern touches. When you arrive, you will likely be surprised at how this unassuming home captures the heart and soul of your lakefront experience. Lying in the hammock overlooking the lake is an ideal way to soak in the afternoon. Water toys and a small sandy beach area await your fun-filled get-away experience.

This home is unique in that you enter the home at the main level (bedrooms) and descend into the living space below. The kitchen and living room are both on the lower level. The wooden staircase descending to the lower level is longer than average. (Please use caution with little ones or family with mobility challenges.) All the bedrooms are on the main/entry level. Each of the five (5) bedrooms are decorated to allow you to relax in comfort. Year-round, the fireplace (gas-insert) pulls your group together in the living space. It's idyllic to have a fire burning while looking over the lake when either the snow falls, or the kids are playing on the beach. Each season shines in its own right. Conveniences put the icing on a great experience. Having a separate workspace when traveling with family, or a washer/dryer is tucked in an ideal space are appreciated by many.

The outside deck faces Maston Lake. There are 2 ways to easily descend to the yard/beach area. From the deck, there are only three (3) steps, yet there also is a longer staircase between the garage and the home. Another bonus is that the yard facing the lake has ample space for basic yard games.Plus, grilling overlooking the Maston Lake can't be underrated. While neighbors are within sight, there is comfortable spacing between the lake homes.

Water toys are available for guest use, so fun is always around the corner at the Maston Lake House. It's always a great time of year to visit!

Everything was clean and had a refreshing, modern touch. The beds and furniture were super comfy and clean as well. Even went to extra lengths to try to find us a dvd/vhs adapter I requested for a proper 90s themed sleepover. The amenities included at this property were such a bonus as well! Welcome to Lincoln Lake located in Gowen, MI just 35 minutes north from Grand Rapids. Lincoln Lake is over 400+ acre lake and you will have access to the public boat launch just down the street. We have a beautiful master bedroom with attached half bath. King size bed with a built in electric fireplace feature. Tv mounted in the bedroom for streaming.
The loft space upstairs has a Jungle theme, a queen bed and two twin beds, small seating area and tv, perfect space for kids to enjoy playing and watching tv.
The downstairs has a queen bedroom area for sleeping, a game area with shuffleboard, pinball, and tiki theme indoor bar!
And a wonderful movie collection to enjoy movie nights.
The Tiki Bar is located right down by the water with a grill, 2 refrigerators, Bluetooth stereo, and includes a splash pad, 5 kayaks, 1 paddle board, and a 4 person pedal boat.
We are pet friendly for(1) house broken dog as long as all shots as well as flee and tick treatment is up to date for $175 for the duration of your stay. We have parking for no more than 4 cars total, two in the garage and two smaller ones in the driveway. No street parking allowed. We also offer day rate for a visitor not to exceed 10 people total including booked guest for $35 each person per day from anytime between 10 am to 10 pm. Hot tub hours are from 8:00am to no later then11:00pm. Please keep the cover closed when no one is in the hot tub. No children under 15 years of age not allowed in the hot tub without an adult. NO parties are allowed do to close neighbors. Not following house guidelines may cause reservation to be canceled without a refund. This is a family neighborhood and quiet place on the lake to relax and enjoy the lake life. We do have outdoor security cameras on site for your protection as well as ours. Any tampering of and camera will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation without refund. Enjoy and recharge. Thank you
