Located on the popular all-sports Horseshoe Lake about an hour east of Grand Rapids, the Little Blue Bungalow sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms and has 1 bathroom. With a 24ft. private dock, you are able to bring your water vessels and dock them in view. And no worries trying to find a public launch, a private boat launch is just steps away. However, the property does come with 2 kayaks and a swimming raft! Although this property is located on Horseshoe Lake, you can access all 5 connecting lakes via waterway with a flat boat, canoe, or kayak, make a day's adventure for boaters!

Having a 3-seasoned screened-in porch with furniture allows you to enjoy the view in comfort. This home wouldn't be complete without a fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table to embrace the lake front views. In addition, the Little Blue Bungalow comes with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, water toys, board games, books, Wi-Fi, and a smart TV including Netflix and Hulu.

When it comes to suitability for multi-generational families, the area inside the cabin is absolutely ideal since it is a ranch setting, with just a few steps to reach the door facing the driveway. Still, if you want to walk down to the water's edge/ dock there is a significant incline. While there are small steps leading down to the water, there is NOT a railing. Please use caution. This walkway isn't suitable for anyone with balance concerns.

The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

The cottage, recently renovated, has 2 bedrooms, one with bunkbeds and the other has a queen size bed. The living area has two couches that could be used for sleeping.
There is a dining table, TV with a fire stick and internet is provided.
The bathroom has a walk in shower and is equipped with a hair dryer.
Linens and bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
Dish detergent and trash bags are provided and first time use of paper products(paper towel and toilet paper).
The kitchen has a small island with 2 bar stools and has a coffee maker, toaster, utensils and dishes. There are basic appliances with an electric stove and dishwasher.(no garbage disposal)
The patio has a table and chairs and a grill. There is a fire pit for small fires and plenty of firewood. The front yard also has 4 Adirondack chairs.
There are no laundry facilities.
You might see bald eagles, herons, kingfishers and often you will see or hear a loon. The sunsets are worth photographing!
Pets are not allowed and there is no smoking in the cottage.

Our cozy cottage getaway is located on Lincoln Lake in Gowen Michigan. Lincoln Lake is an all sports lake. It boast great fishing for bluegill, bass, walleye, and pike. Also pleasure boating, water sports, and swimming. Lincoln Lake does connect to other lakes by way of channels (Little Lincoln, Black Lake and Blue Lake).

It is located within 5-15 minutes of restaurants, golfing, soccer golf, frisbee golf, parks, libraries, ice cream parlor, gas station with convenience store, dollar store and much more. Located between Greenville and Cedar Springs. Rockford is 15-20 minutes away and Grand Rapids is only 25 minutes away. The cottage has two bedrooms, one full bath and a half bath. Sleeps 6 comfortably in either a king size bed, queen size bed or bunk beds. Open living room/dining room/kitchen. Many amenities included such as high speed internet/AppleTV/Hulu and Netflix, bedding and towels, dishes, Keurig coffee maker, washer and dryer, multiple chaise lounges and outdoor furniture, 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards with life jackets, fire pit (wood not supplied), gas grill, sandy beach and dock.

The open front deck gives a fabulous view of the sandy beach and the lake. The water front is shallow with a sandy bottom for at least 80 feet out. Fishing is great right off the dock. Perfect for kids. Boats are permitted and can be anchored right out front or tied to the dock. Boat launch is located a block away. Off street parking for two vehicles. Professionally landscaped and recently updated inside. Newly installed and updated water softener. Cottage sits on the west side of the lake to enjoy beautiful sunrises.

Spraying of Lake to control weeds and algae is done 4 times during the summer months. The dates are subject to change each season. Docks are provided between Memorial Day and Labor Day. All items in photos are subject to change. If you wish to book two weeks together, simply let us know. Weekend blocks are there only for cleaning crews to come in to prep for the next renter. Winter long term rental rates available upon request.

Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside the cabin. Plus, if you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to sleep on. Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we'll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. Plus, if the pet hair starts to build, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
