This was the camp cooks' cabin just on the other side of the cafeteria at Gray's Riverside Camp. It has been restored into a 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin for 2 people. This is a 12-square-foot cabin with a cozy bedroom, you'll find a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Stay connected with WiFi and enjoy the warmth of the heating system during cooler evenings. The outside of the cabin is cinderblock but the inside is something you will feel comfortable in if you like tiny homes. The doorways are smaller along with the bathroom. It is not equipped with a kitchen so you will have to use the bathroom sink for your dishes.

We used the row boat to fish and caught a few nice bass. We used the canoe, kayaks & peddle boat cruise around & explore the Muskegon river. We loved having a bonfire each night and roasting s’mores. We went into Newago one day and highly eating at the New-ago Brewery. Played some cards, bags, and just relaxed. Kitchen is fully stocked; note, just need to bring keurig coffee cups. We used the grill for hamburgers & chicken and loved eating on the deck. Can’t say enough great things about this place."

This is a loft cabin that sleeps 6. 4 in the loft and 2 on the main floor. The property is amazing. It sits on the Muskegon River but you won’t have river views from the cabin, however, you can walk to it. You can also explore the paved Fred Meijer White Pine Trail that goes from Cadillac to Grand Rapids. It has a VHS player, smart tv, and WIFI. There is disc golf and woods to roam. This cabin does have a floor A/C unit. If you come with with your furry friend I just ask that they don't bark and you clean up after them. This is Gray's Riverside Camp with firewood that is close to your cabin. I do offer kayaking, firepit, ping pong, outdoor gas grill, events in the Tabernacle, swing, and game room.

This newly renovated lakefront property has great swimming, boating, and fun. Nearby sandbar allows lots of fun, and all sports nearby. Experience the river life with incredible fishing all year round and a mile from large snowmobile trails in the area. The perfect place to retreat from the hustle of modern life. The cabin has stood through 200 years of change but maintains the charm of simpler times. The modern conveniences of indoor plumbing and full electric service including base-board heat, refrigeration and cookware have been added. There is an air-conditioner in the loft. Tables and chairs are located in the kitchen and on the porch to enjoy your meals.

The more adventurous guests can open the windows to enjoy a cross-breeze, read by candle light, cook over the campfire (or charcoal grill) and dine on the large outdoor picnic table. Just bring your favorite food and beverages.

This natural setting is home to a large variety of wildlife. Our guests have seen deer, turkey, pheasant, song birds, birds of prey, fox, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, possum, and more while rocking on the wraparound porch and hiking through the trails on the property. There are bicycles for use on the grass trails, open fields or quiet dirt roads. In addition to bicycles, there are lawn jarts, frisbees, darts, squirt guns and more available for your use on the huge lawn. Firewood, skewers and pie-makers are provided for your bon fire. We also provide a fiber-optic Internet connection, smart television, DVD collection, multiple board games, puzzles, and a few books in case there is inclement weather during your stay.

The White Pine multi-use trail is only 2 miles away. For the hardcore mountain bikers, the Dragon Tail Trail is 7 miles away. You can visit the many local Amish farms & businesses and nearby popular attractions in the Canadian Lakes area.

Due to the secluded nature of this property, there are surveillance cameras monitoring the driveway and door to the cabin. There are also hunting cameras that monitor the food plot fields and utility easement.

- "My husband and I needed to escape the city during 4th of July weekend, for the sake of our dog who is not a fan of fireworks. This rustic, historic cabin was perfect for our needs - secluded and quiet, with trails to explore and plenty of birdwatching - and very little firework noise! We didn’t explore the area too much, but did enjoy eating at the nearby Fatbelly deli; the attached gas station has basic staples, should you need them: eggs, milk, butter, meat, beer, liquor, etc. Sarah was a responsive host, and was easy to communicate with. The cabin is well stocked with pretty much anything you would need. The main part of the cabin is quite old - I’m guessing it was a pioneer cabin built in the early 1800s, which was pretty exciting for this history buff! While the listing is labeled as "rustic" you do have everything you need - shower, toilet, and most kitchen appliances (no oven). There’s also a great fire pit that we used for hot dogs and marshmallows on a couple of nights. This is an old cabin out in the country, so don’t expect HGTV perfection - but if you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind and enjoy nature, then I would highly recommend it."

Make yourself at home, take a load off. Feel free to grab a book from my various selection, turn on the TV or connect to the Bluetooth speaker. Please kick back and relax wherever you find most comforting. Both TVs located in each room are smart TVs with various apps such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, voodoo, YouTube, etc. I have a few card games/ puzzles available as well.
4) Bathroom:
Top of the line jacuzzi jetted tub with complimentary bath salts, His & Her Robes, & a Smart TV for all of your needs. A Glass door shower with two shower heads with plenty of space. Finally, a giant vanity to tie it all together. I provide Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, and Hand Soap.
5) Bedroom:
Feel free to unload your luggage and make use of the bedroom dresser and closet space. Within your room you will find a TV, minifridge, and Xbox360 with a variety of games & DVDs as well.

- "I think this is a rental best suited for men there for golfing. It was clean. The beds were fine, shower was lovely. The kitchen had just minimal stuff… you wouldn’t want to plan to prepare much here. There was no dishwasher detergent and zero kitchen linens. Only giant garbage bags… nothing that fit any of the garbage receptacles there. A tiny amount of hand soap and one tiny shower product, not that we expected that but usually there is more. Living room furniture a bit stained and beat up. Throw pillows shredded on one side. It is quite small. Two bedrooms. The couch looks like it pulled out but given the fact that if you pulled it out there would be absolutely zero living space I don’t think I’d advertise it for more than 4 people. The property is within Canadian Lakes and as a guest we could use “all the amenities “…. If you could find them as my husband said. The book listed them all but there was nothing to indicate where anything was. Jessica was quick to answer our calls, “where are the hiking trails?” But even her office that she directed us to didn’t have anything. No one anywhere seemed to know where these trails were. It felt a bit off putting and unwelcoming to be honest. Bizarre. Glad we were here for a graduation party. It’s not a place to hang out but a great place to sleep."

This cabin is not equipped with anything other than a lock, trash can, fire extinguisher and a fire pit. The beds are wood slabs, no pads. You need to bring everything including water. There is a fire ring and free fire wood but no chairs or a table. Fire needs to stay in ring.
It has no lights, electric or heat.
The outhouse is usually stocked with TP and that’s covered by cleaning fee. Leave the trash bagged ( provided in bottom of can) and I will remove as needed.
Nature trails can be used for UTVs but speed needs to stay below 15 mph
Host has lakefront that can be used by guest. There is a dock to tie up to or fish from. Boat launch is 1 mile away for motor boats. Lakefront closes at sunset.
