There is a beautiful view of Silver Lake and the dunes from the cottage. Right across the street is the public access where you can moor your boat and swim. At the end of the road, you can climb the dunes and walk to Lake Michigan. We ask that our guests bring their own sheets and towels. We have a picnic table and fire pit in the yard. Inside we have basic cable, coffee pot, microwave and dishes, pots, pans and silverware. Parking is limited, so if you have big trailers, please message us to see if you will fit. BEAUTIFUL log cabin nestled in a 3 acre woods on a road that we named All Wheel Drive, because it is our own private road. This is one big sand box. Our cabin is Air Conditioned, has 1 bedroom with a king bed, a loft with a 2 queen sized beds and the walk out basement has one King and one Queen sized bed and a Queen over full bunk bed. On the main floor, a Sectional couch that also pulls out for a bed. Kitchen is fully equipped. 1 Bathroom and 1 outdoor shower. Large fire pit and a gas grill. A sweet front porch and plenty of room to park dunes machines, stone accents on the walk out basement and foundation of the cabin are stunning . Picnic tables outdoors. All the furniture has the log cabin theme. You can be uptown in one mile and enjoy all the action. Bumper cars, go-karts, mini golf, dune rides boating, restaurants and more. The entrance of the Dunes is 2 miles away, Just go on the scenic road around Silver Lake. Enjoy Lake Michigan on the dunes or if you go the other way from the cabin you can get to Lake Michigan in a few miles where you can park and go for the day. Then you can relax in the quiet cabin at days end. We have built this ourselves and have taken extraordinary steps to make this a beautiful place to vacation. Our cottage is a great fit for a small family vacation! ( 5 max adults & 8 overnight guests )

Our Cottage is located in the Floradale Association. Literally steps away from the heated pool. So convenient for all, but especially if you have kids in your party. It’sYou also have access to the Club House, Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Tether ball, Horse Shoes, Tennis and Basketball courts as well as 400ft of private association beachfront with swimming dock.

Our cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a Queen bed, and 1 with 2 sets of bunk beds. Twin sleeper sofa, and sofa in Living Room space. There is 1 bath with shower. There is also a large well equipped kitchen and dinning room with large table that seats 8. The cottage also has a deck with dinning space. There is lawn furniture, an outdoor grill, and private fire pit. Plenty of parking! Large lot.

We have just finished renovating this cottage and it looks amazing! All painted light and bright with fun beachy décor. Air and heat! This cottage will not disappoint. Feel free to inquire about the renovation. We can also show you our other cottage in the same association if you are interested in a larger cottage or are traveling with a larger group.

We do rent by the week, Friday to Friday from mid June to Labor Day. Before and after those dates, we do rent for a 2-3 day minimum.

Just a few miles away is the state park dunes where you can ride through the sand or walk. Also, you can take a dune ride from Mac Woods or rent a buggy to tear up the dunes yourself. This is indeed a special place! The paved driveway leads you to spacious parking for 4 (or more) cars. A few steps away is our beautiful 3 bedroom home with 2600 square feet of living space.

The main level and the lower level each have a spacious deck for you to entertain and enjoy the amazing views of Lake Michigan.

Then 60 steps down later (from the lower deck) there is another deck that overlooks your own 90' of private beach!
*Summer of 2020 update: Because of the record high waters, our beach area has been changing week to week. Currently we have very little beach area, but the lower deck provides an area to enjoy the lake.
