Little cottage (400 sq. ft.) will remind you of going to Grandma's cottage. Main living area is a combination kitchen, living and dining room, open to the rafters. Lakeside bedroom has a double bed, roadside bedroom has a twin bed with a twin trundle bed. The double bed size futon in living room provides additional sleeping area. Bathroom has a single stall shower.

TV, DVD player, some DVDs, books, games and cards are stocked for a rainy day.There is no Wi-Fi or cable. The lakeside of the cottage is open for a lake breeze, there is a ceiling fan in main room. Each bedroom also has an oscillating stand fan.There is no air conditioning.

Big Lake is a deep, spring fed all sports lake with a public access if you bring your own boat. Nearby Evart is the home of the Dulcimer and non-electric music festival in July, as well as the Woodcarvers Festival in June. It also has a Saturday farmers market and free concert. Rafting, tubing, and kayak trips are available on the nearby Muskegon River. The Pere Marquette State Trail is two miles from the cottage for hiking and biking. Lake Michigan is about 1 1/2 hours away for a nice day trip.

Great fishing lake for bass, blue gill, pike, sun fish, walleye, specks, perch. This is in all sports lake with a public DNR launch. You are more than welcome to bring your own watercraft.

Aside from the dvd player, we don't have any tv service at the cottage. There is no wi-fi or internet. We have tried to make this a place to get away from it all. We do not allow pets. There is no air conditioning.

A really nice secluded cabin for your getaway. We welcome pets but there is a $25 pet fee, and we ask you please clean up their hair before you leave. Cabin was selected by mlive as one of the top cabins in Michigan.

- "My wife and I were looking for a quiet secluded place to take a break from our everyday lives, work, and child and Todd’s place was perfect for us. It was very quiet in the area. It was nice going on a hike and knowing we wouldn’t see anyone at all. The house was great, very clean and it had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was awesome, fast and didn’t have a single issue. Todd was very nice and communicative but didn’t bother us at all once we got to the house. We had no issues so didn’t need to reach out to him for anything. The fire pit was great. Little pier to fish right there. Rowboat and kayaks for use right there as well. There was a fire pit on the little beach, would love to have used, but was told by a resident about a city no burn notice, which we knew nothing about and wouldn’t have known if we weren’t told by a local resident."

- "Rented because of in-house bowling alley as bucket list item for my brother with cancer and brought my son and one of his friends as a spring break treat. The property inside and out was amazing. On a hike there were swans in one of the many water areas. Everything you need is there. They offer catering. We went to the grocery (plan a 20 minute drive) and grilled and used the kitchen. Touches like heated floors in the bathrooms and pond lights to enjoy the view in the evening spoiled us."

This 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 story lake house with a walkout basement is extremely spacious and perfect for large families and groups.
The main floor is comprised of 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen, and living room that opens up into an oversized wrap-around porch.

The upstairs has a spacious landing with little nooks for reading or journaling. The master bedroom with a queen bed has an attached full bathroom. The second master features a balcony with a roof and fan. The third room upstairs has beautiful pine shiplap ceilings.

The walkouts basement features a dining area with a large 8.5’ table, a kitchenette with an extra refrigerator, a large living room with a TV…and a secret game room behind the murphy door/ “bookshelf”. - "Overall great place and experience. Few things to note: There is no washer / dryer as described in the listing. The mattresses were hard as a rock, but I slept great anyways. The place was immaculately appointed and cleaned. The showers did not get more than luke warm, it sucked a bit. The water was hot everywhere else, but the showers while beautiful, also need to be hot. A few details need to be addressed, but I would go back once again."

A beautiful deck wraps around the exterior of the home, overlooking 450 feet of river frontage from just mere feet away. - "We enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was clean and as described by owner. It sits a few feet from the river with great views from the enclosed porch and deck on the second floor. It is private - enough so that we could let our dogs off leash without any concerns. Our only negative comment would be that there weren’t any instructions for our stay — no Wi-Fi information, no instructions on trash and leaving instructions. We did email the owner for the wifi password and he sent it on our second day. The communication could have been better but overall, It was a pleasant experience."

This cozy cottage is close to snowmobiling, hunting, trails, mountain biking, state land and nature. The home is great for couples and families with kids. Enjoy the in-the-woods setting with a view of beloved Chippewa Lake, which is within walking distance.

Access Chippewa Lake through the DNR launch, which is a turn off of our private road and within walking distance to our cottage. Take the whole family swimming at the public swimming area with sandy swim area, picnic tables, and bathroom!

This home is a beautiful, 2-story, year-round home built after 2000. It has cathedral ceilings, woods, nearby trails, close Chippewa Lake access, nearby Marina for boating and fishing needs/grocery, nearby Haymarsh with a Loon habitat, and is set back in a private lake association neighborhood.

Once a rustic hunting camp, this structure has evolved into one of the state's finest private lodge destinations. Accommodation is designed with the traditional outdoorsman atmosphere in mind, while combining elements of modern luxury and wonderful style.

Able to accommodate up to 20 people, the lodge is an ideal place for a corporate retreat, a social or sporting club get together. Other ideal uses might be a family gathering or a perfect place to enjoy a birthday, or a bachelor or bachelorette party. Please note, the Lodge is a catered facility only. The rate coves accommodation and meals for up to 7 people. Each additional guest is $210 per person per night, which covers the cost of accommodation and meals as well.

Meemo’s Lodge is deliberately designed for the purpose of building relationships and having fun. From the lodge’s incredible décor and all wood construction to its full list of incredible diverse activities, capped off with nightly bonfires, everything is designed to ensure lasting memories.

The main lodge is a purpose built facility designed with every comfort in mind. Its large open plan kitchen and exquisite custom designed dining room leaves you with a lovely warm feeling. Wooden floors, open fireplace, and a huge comfortable great room full of large sofas and deep comfortable armchairs… all invite you to sit a while, relax and enjoy the view.

The lodge is the largest of the three accommodation options. It offers complete privacy and overlooks its own private pond surrounded by forest.
The lodge has 4 bedrooms, three with 4 queen size beds and one private king room. Each comes with a private bathroom.

You will find that the luxuries offered by Meemo’s Lodge are uncommon in the industry, thanks to a commercial grade kitchen, an amazing chef, upscale dining area, a magnificent great room and a games area that will keep you entertained for hours.

Property Policies:
Children
All guests must be at least 12 years of age or older to stay at Meemo’s Farm.
The minimum age for Wing- shooting and Clay Shooting is 12 years or older. All hunters must have passed a hunters safety course. There are no children activities

Smoking
All the accommodations at Meemo’s Farm are smoke-free, including e-cigarettes. Violations of these restrictions will result in a $250.00 deep cleaning fee.

Deposits & Cancellations
A deposit equal to 50% of the total cost of a reservation including taxes is due at time of booking to confirm a reservation.

Our Cancellation Policy is as follows:

61 days or more: Full Refund of Deposit, Less a 10% Processing Fee
30 to 60 days: 50% of Deposit
15 – 29 days: No refund on deposit
1- 14 days: Full reservation rate will be charged
Meemos Farm reserves the right not to provide exemptions from the cancellation policy above for medical matters, inclement weather conditions, travel delays or any other unforeseen circumstances. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance prior to your stay

The balance is due by credit card , cash or check at time of departure . Guests are responsible for payment of total package booked regardless of late arrival or early departure

A valid photo ID matching the name on the reservation and intended form of payment must be present at check in. Credit cards must match the form of payment provided at the time of booking.

- "Where do I begin... This is so much more than a cottage. Everything about this place is top notch. The kitchen is beautiful, with everything you could dream of needing. We cooked our own food on the grill due to the fact we didn't want to leave. Also due to not a lot of options to go out to eat that is close. The bathrooms are amazing!!! Heated floors, heated towel racks, beautiful two person showers. The bed was so comfortable. It is VERY quiet at night. Our favorite part was the porch!!!! We had a fire going outside all day. We enjoyed the hot tub that is right across from the fire place. We watched the wildlife from the hot tub as well. We can not wait to go back!!!!!!!! "

This 6 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, peninsula house has 180 degrees of lake views and privacy! 450 feet of lake frontage with a 100 ft of sandy beach and a volley court!!
From inside and outside it is extremely spacious & open, perfect for large families and groups.

(Main Floor) walking through the front door you enter into a large dining room that seats all 16 guests! 18 seats total. A coffee bar with 2 coffee pots to kick off everyone's morning right! The slider off the dinning opens up to a massive covered deck to enjoy the lake no matter the weather. The modern kitchen has everything needed to cook amazing meals with a double refrigerator to hold all your food. This home has an oversized living room with 2 sectionals, a shuffleboard table, a couch overlooking a wood burning fireplace. Step outside from the living room onto a huge 16x28 deck with picnic tables to bring your meals to the outdoors or just to relax in the sun. Sleeping on the main floor has 2 - queen bedrooms, and 2 full baths. A couple steps down and you walk into the kid bunk room, 2 bunk beds with trundles sleeping 6, a couch, tv, & arcade games. Go upstairs from the bunk room and you will find a second kid room with 2 twin beds.

Going up the second set of stairs brings you into a spacious nook with 2 chairs to relax and decompress. There are 2 primary sweets. The first has a queen bed with a separate sitting area. The second sweet has a king bed, couch and desk. Also has a balcony overlooking the lake perfect for morning coffee and excellent sunset views with a glass of wine! Upstairs also has a full sized washer and dryer along with a half bath.
Outside there is a large walled off beach with sandy bottom for endless fun in the sun. When you're done watching some of the most enchanting sunsets imaginable right from the beach, sit down around the fire-pit in the sand and relax the night away.

There are 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, and a paddle boat free to use. There are also life jackets and fishing poles.
The house is 5 minutes from the town of Evart. There is a Dairy Whip for ice cream, restaurants, a bar, bowling alley, a tube and kayak rental for the Muskegon river that will drop you off and pick up, a grocery store and a Dollar general.

★SLEEP SPACES★

BEDROOM 1: A large queen bed with premium linens, pillows and mattress.

BEDROOM 2: A large queen bed with premium linens, pillows and mattress.

BEDROOM 3: A twin over full bunk bed and separate stand alone twin bed and activity table for the kids.

All beds have two pillows per guest, one premium down fill and one down alternative fiber fill. Extra pillows and linens are available, and blankets are stocked for chilly nights.

A premium blow-up mattress is available upon request for additional sleeping space.

★COMMON AREAS★

LIVING ROOM / GREAT ROOM: The living room offers a large sofa, smart TV and wood log fireplace. Guests will be provided access to our Netflix and Disney Plus accounts or may use their own streaming services.

FOUR SEASON SUNROOM: There is also a sofa in the four seasons porch to relax on along with a small collection of DVDs and books on the shelf too.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and every pot, pan, plate, utensil, cup or glass you would need for holiday cooking, baking & serving.

LAUNDRY / MUD ROOM: Washer and dryers are available for guests to use as needed.

BATHROOM: Towels and washcloths can be found in each room, and a few extra in the bathroom. There are also black washcloths in the bathroom for makeup removal.

FIRE PIT: The firepit is just far away enough from the home that the kids can sleep inside while the parents can enjoy some peace and quiet.

GRILL: A traditional gas grill is provided with space to feed the whole family

KAYAKS: We provide kayaks for our guests use.

TUBES: We provide river tubes for our guests use.

RIVER: The Muskegon River winds through the backyard with tall banks and a dock over the water’s edge.

FRONT PORCH: The front porch has outdoor dining and seating

RIVERFRONT STEPS: Custom timber constructed stairs with a multi-tiered structure provide easy river access and kayak launching.

★GUEST ACCESS★

Our guests have full access and use of the entire home and surrounding land. If you are unsure where the property lines end, please ask and we can assist! The privacy and safety of our guests and neighbors is very important to us.

Access is provided through a remote digital keypad, controlled through our Ring security system. Parking is convenient and close to the home, we only ask that guests do not park or drive on the lawn.

As a remotely located, rural home we manage travel times between our properties for turnovers between guests based on expected arrival times and the most efficient routes. Often, we can accommodate an earlier check in, just ask us in the days before your reservation and we will do our best to help!

Across the river is pristine, undeveloped land which never has visitors and with no development plans, so guests can have unincumbered views of the river and wildlife.
