- "Clean and comfortable hotel that was a last minute booking for our family. " - "I really liked the location. Even though I didn't use the TV, I noticed how it was slightly angled toward the bed, to make it easier to see while sitting on the bed. Little details like that let me know they care about the experience. Check-in was friendly, smooth and easy. Breakfast was decent but other days are probably better. Really like how they have bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap in the showers. I'm sure this cuts down on waste. Only issue I found (it's a small one), and not something the staff can do about it because it was in the development stage, was the bathroom sink faucet does not stick out very far, which makes it challenging to wash your hands. Have seen this before in bathrooms. It's so much easier to wash your hands when you can fit your entire hands under the faucet easily. (See photo) This wouldn't stop me from staying with Hampton because the overall experience is always so good. One more feature that was new to me but really liked was leaving your key in a slot by the door to keep the lights on. This cuts down on wasteful electricity use if someone leaves the lights on when they leave the room. Nice touch that every hotel should start incorporating."

The furniture in my opinion needs to be updated and replaced. The room was a two bedroom two bath and was spacious enough for my wife and I to relax comfortably even with our two boys. The kitchen was more than adequate with updated appliances to meet our food preparation needs. The beds, carpets and furniture were all clean and new. The pool that the property offered in the listing was actually open this weekend, the water was warm, and our kids enjoyed several hours of swimming each day. As one who enjoys exercising and weight lifting, the weight room facilities were beyond acceptable for hotel accommodations and I was only sad that I didn't have the opportunity to use it. The location was beyond exceptional, offering groceries and restaurants within minutes, and quick access to the highways that took us directly downtown and to the museums and zoo that we wanted to see. Nothing's perfect. The elevator stopped working on the last day we were there. (I'm glad it was only 4 flights of stairs.) We had discovered fleas in the apartment while we were there. I notified the property managers who were less than helpful and rather insulting. They first suggested I go around and take pictures of the fleas. {Do they not know what a flea looks like?} I immediately became offended. When I asked if they were serious about the photos they replied the unit didn't have fleas because pets are not allowed in the apartment. (I'm offended again) Year round residents of the Grand Castle have dogs going up and down the hallway constantly. They are allowed pets. I felt the property managers were insinuating my wife and I brought the fleas with us. This could be true since there are many residents with dogs and we could have picked up a few hitchhiking fleas while we walked the hallways. The furnishings in the apartment were sparse and uncomfortable, especially the beds. Two pieces of furniture in the living room, a small couch and a window seat. Not enough chairs. I don't want to end on a sour note. My wife and I would stay there again. We liked the overall cleanliness, spaciousness."

- "Nice clean place" - "Our stay was for a week in July for a me, my husband, and our 2 teen boys. We were there to visit our daughter and her family who had just recently moved there. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. House and neighborhood all appeared to be pretty new. Address would not even pull up on my car gps but did on my phone. Everything looked very clean but my granddaughters knees did look pretty dirty after crawling around on the wood floors go awhile. There was plenty of room and beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the showers was a bit lacking but not enough to cause issues. There was an item that was broken when we arrived and I notified the property manager and they were very responsive. The only real complaint I have and it is just more of a suggestion is that the check out instructions were not listed clearly anywhere. We did receive instructions after we confirmed our check out but we had already left the property when we completed our check out on the app. Luckily we had done everything that was listed. Saturday of our stay the carbon monoxide detector started alarming along with smoke detector. Contacted mgt Saturday morning and was told a maintenance ticket would be submitted. We checked out on Monday and was still not addressed by maintenance. This is very concerning as this could have potentially been a bad and unsafe situation "
